DESCRIPTION

Hello Humans,

This month’s vlog was a bit of a whirlwind (or maybe a windmill) of moments from September.

It was definitely one of those months that felt like it passed by in a blur, and I could barely remember it.

(dream team in Cardiff - Catherine Elms, Chris, Me, Dan)

However, looking back now at a fully edited video (thank you Matas), I can see it was an incredibly fruitful month, and I love observing my past self in this way. Hope you enjoy it!

I don't think I've ever packed a suitcase this many times in a month. There is also a big mental health dump towards the end, where I talk a little bit more about burnout - something that affects all artists at some point!

You’ll also see snippets from a my live shows, including a set inside a Bristol Cathedral, Cardiff Recovery Festival with the brilliant Dan Shears (The Velveteen Orkestra) and there’s even a session inside Rottingdeam Windmill with Self Torque. My first gig in a windmill, haha what is life?

Between the shows, I also took some time to film a little story about my grandma’s piano, the one that started it all for me, and how that old instrument still holds a bit of her spirit.

And, because I can’t wait to share it, there’s also a sneak preview of a new Crimson Veil song INFERIOR we’ve been working on. More to come on that project soon but if you're in Germany this November you might want to catch us at the Metalhammer Paradise Festival.

So here’s to October! May it be full of slower moments, great music, and finding that sweet balance between passion and rest. Enjoy the spooky season and I'll see you all at the Halloween Livestream on Wednesday 29th!

Love,Mishkin
