Hello Humans,
It's 6 weeks to Christmas. Is anyone else finding that positively terrifying?
Anyway, there’s something about this time of year that makes we want to get outside as much as possible before the inevitable winter slump sets in... and the woods have been calling to me.
In between my woodland wanderings, of which there were many mushroom hunts, I spent last month in a whirlwind of movement, and I'm now, yet again, in need of some stillness before the next burst.
I've realised that I definitely do not follow a consistent rhythm or routine. I have to catch and ride the waves of energy when they are up... and learn to just accept the crash and burn when I am down. It's all part of being a neurodivergent creative little weirdo. Can anyone relate?
So - October involved... recording, gigging and shooting with Hana Piranha, catching Igorrr live (mindblowingly good), and heading up to Manchester with Not Saints.
Here are my fav snaps:

In other news, the guitars for the next Crimson Veil album are now done. It's sounding MASSIVE. I still can't quite get over the fact that it's being produced by Gautier Serre 😱😱
Here is Garry, smiling through the most exhausting guitar session I think he's ever done! The solos are immense. I am so proud of him.
And, before the end of the month I shall deliver you all a new song... See you then!
Thanks for being here!
Love,
Mishkin
