Hello Humans,
Welcome back. It's time for another episode of Behind The Veil.
This time you'll come with me on the HEART OF DARKNESS tour...
Buckle up, because it's a three week long epic debrief, with some of the finest people on the earth - Jim, Andy, Cath, Taylor, Brad, Me and of course, the Queen of Darkness herself, Hana Piranha.
It was of course a rollercoaster with all the expected ups and downs of a tour. You'll see us on the road, backstage, sound-checking and on stage - up close and personal.
There was so much going on, including in the middle of it we had a single release, Valentine, which if you haven't seen, please watch it now! I don't think I've ever seen Hana so busy in her whole life, and was very impressed with her leadership and organisation during the whole tour. It's really not easy to organise something of this magnitude, and under her direction we as a group worked really well together - it's exactly how things should happen on tour so I felt very proud to be part of it. I just can't wait to do it again!
I've tried to share as much as I can of what it's like to do this job. It is intensely rewarding but it's definitely not easy. Your body and mind go through a total shift of reality and you end up in this weird bubble that is both hard to exist in while simultaneously not wanting to leave. I think the tour diary reflects that, and I hope you guys find it interesting!
I want to thank all of you who were able to come out to the shows and support us. We'll see you again soon I'm sure.
