Hey Everyone!
As I announced last week, I'm not posting any new pages today, and will be back next Sunday with some more Dark Magic.I've posted over 400 pages (!!!) this year, and I'm taking my first ever break to enjoy the holidays with my family. I hope that's okay with you all, I couldn't do any of this without your support!
Anyway, here's some BTS on my latest short:
As you can see from the first images in this post, I started out exploring the characters for this comic by going in a totally different direction than the one I ended up on, as I originally intended for the main transformation to be a stepford-kind-of-thing (which I still plan on doing, eventually), but ended up settling on a role reversal with a double transformation.
I also used a totally different technology than in my other comics, which will likely become my new standard after Dark Magic is done. For the nerds like me out there: I'm talking about Genesis 9 characters in Daz, which look far more realistic than their G8 counterparts (the ones i usually use). They are a bit of a pain to work with, and have some limits as they are a relatively new-ish technology. Still, I think the character renders look great in this comic, so I'll probably stick with them going forward.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the comic, this little BTS writeup and some alternative looks for the characters I tested early on.
