Edit: Attached an early version of a few chapters. It's in .RTF format, pocket book size. Written in Textedit on mac; I'm not sure how it displays elsewhere. A preview and not final.
Also added a few creature ideas to an image, added a world map, and added a mutant pic I did a while back but forgot. A Bauer troll, hedgehog and water salamander animaloid.

After failing a bit with characterization, well, I decided to cheat and change out the human maids. It's much easier to keep track of them if they're turned into monsters. Then I can rely on tropes a bit and do some fun stuff which fits their nature. This of course means I had to go back and do a rewrite, but it seems worth it. The Overlord (animé) maids could perhaps be an inspiration.
Also updated a map a tiny bit (moved Doonmurk). I ended up making a spreadsheet for it, because I have some agricultural elements in the story (food exports and cultivation herbs). In cultivation stories they sometimes make boosting pills from herbs, so I wanted to know pill yeld per hectare and availability per capita. I also made a spreadsheet for cultivation speed... as that gets complicated down the line (with meditation time, mana density, supplement diet, etc) and can't really be improvised across multiple characters.
Oh, right, I aslo updated an image for my Mutant project. I was thinking of mostly limiting the animal people mostly to common local animals, so no zoo animals like panthers, giraffes, rhinos etc. We don't have turtles so maybe I should skip that one. Realistically it's not much of an issue since it's a post-apocalyptic setting set in the far future, but I'm thinking more about building some sort of identity for the setting rather than stuffing anything that comes to mind in there.
