DESCRIPTION
this commissioner wanted two versions of their DnD character's portrait: one with her wearing her mask, and one with her mask off. Layering the mask over the portrait was a fun challenge!
The solid light green sections in the process pics are for masking-- I really like painting a flat base for a character or object in an illustration and then using photoshop's clipping mask feature to make sure the actual painting will "stay inside the lines". Anything I can do to avoid using the eraser tool more than I already do (it's a lot)...
