I AM SO REFRESHED (and now here’s what’s happening with the Patreon/YouTube!)

This vacation was a VERY needed week for Mortimiss and I; we feel refreshed in mind, body, and spirit ☺️🇯🇲

Let’s chat about what’s upcoming for the channel, especially since a few things changed since the last schedule update!

1) Vox Machina - I was having a tough time with this series; I enjoy WATCHING it, but was not feeling immensely proud of the content I was creating while doing do. It felt like that series was starting to lean towards exactly the kind of content I try to AVOID making; just passive big face reactions with no value that would constitute fair use in my heart. HOWEVER, when I shared this with the Patreon section of my discord (make sure to link your accounts if you want to participate in discussions like this!) some folks explained to me how much they did appreciate my own perspective as a long-time DM, and felt like it did actually provide valuable insight/storytelling perspective. With that in mind, I WILL be returning to that series, with much more of a highlight towards analyzing story and character beats as both a long time DM, and someone who is actively adapting a fantasy world into a narrative format. I don’t yet know WHEN the return to Vox will occur, but rest assured, it is coming!

2) Saturday Slot - Shrek the Musical runs on YouTube until the last Saturday of July, which means I gotta record my next series real soon. This upcoming week includes moving to a new house, so it’ll still be a decent chunk of time before the Patreon gets ANY new content, but as soon as my new office is record ready, we’ll be on the Trail 👀🐴🗻🌳

3) She-Ra - I was hoping to finish S4 before the move, but that ended up not happening. Rest assured, as soon as I’m done with TTO, we are back to the world of Etheria (even though this is the worst performing series on the YouTube side of things, it’s my favorite to record so I’m definitley looking forward to its continuation!!)

4) Power Trip - I know, it’s been a bit since y’all heard that name, huh?? We hit a few snags and delays with the live-shot, but now we are finally in the true final stretch of having it ready to share with the world. I did a full watchthrough with one of our dedicated mods to catch any final small errors or needed tweaks, and he had an absolutely stellar time with it, so I’m confident those of you who bought your digital tickets will find it was well worth the wait! I don’t want to make any promises with absolute confidence, just in case other delays occur, but I would be very surprised if it’s not ready and emailed out by July 19th ✨⚡️⚔️
