The topic of discussion between Victoria and Jay, her producer, shifts to the potential veracity of Channel 5's no blur policy. Jay tells Victoria about another incident where the No-Blur policy was deployed, that of Miami Takaguchi, who famously soldiered through the remainder of her remote segment in the nude after her dress was stolen by a particularly pesky escalator. The segment aired as filmed, with no interference or distortion, with the truth of it fully on display for all citizens of Awesome City to see. These things happen (a lot) but the show must go on, and it must be truthful.
Jay also points out that Victoria's microphone is out of position and is missing some of Sal's ice cream wisdom. Luckily, she corrects the issue before too much audio is lost.
