first: the foxy catch is complete! there are two bonus comics this time, you can read everything on my site. i really had a blast making all of this, it makes me really tempted to go ahead and do the pastille/syrup webcomic idea i thought i might scrap after all... the format is really easy to make and very satisfying to deliver a story through, so a daily update type thing would be very possible, i'm going to think about this for next year... (bulk updates would be posted to patreon of course!)
in other website news: i've been updating my character gallery LOTS! brand new pages are drop and chai! i might do pastille next, but his page will have a lot so i've been intimidated to start on it... gotta loop back around to trick too since the rest of the main treat cast is already up haha. having fun drawing new icons for everyone... please request characters, i will be motivated to hurry up and post them if you do!
next up is a WEEK WITH TIMBER UPDATE!!! fresh from my brain this morning!!!!!!!
here is a cryptic diagram... (spoilers?!)
THESE ARE ALL THE ROUTES. from the top it goes witch, cat, white wolf, black wolf, black rabbit, striped cat... the first two are self-insert roles and the rest are established characters (the striped cat being a brand new one)
the problem i was having with conceptualizing this game is that if i counted each character as a route like before, the twigs route spans the entire storyline so it wouldve been MASSIVELY LONG and i wanted to lock the later days of it behind seeing other perspectives... so you'd get stopped at various points anyway, which seems annoying...
SO INSTEAD: the routes are separated such that you play to the end of that day as that character, then you can either go ahead and choose the next day for them or play the same day as a different character. i need to iron out the order these all unlock in, but witch is definitely first because it's the most "normal" day. i think this format also makes it more clear what events are taking place at the same time, so you can keep it straight in your head even if you're jumping around a lot.
basically... you choose the story you want to play from this grid, and some of them still have multiple endings (like witch and cat). I HOPE THAT MAKES SENSE sorry if this is too vague and just raises more questions... trust the process......
i'm still a ways from getting a wip build together, but i'm EXTREMELY PUMPED for everyone to know what sort of things happen in this game because AAAAAAAAAAAAAA THE FREAKING ENDING (i'm so far away but im desperate to get there)
ok i think that's all for now... merry christmas, etc, i will continue to work on this game and my website because it's really fun! bye!!!
