Last one in the pin-up list, this month, and then a Knight exclusive artwork: Yuki. The reference is the episode number 148 of "The Author - Instagrave". It's funny because I was ready to draw a lot of tan lines this month, and the I had only characters that get no tan: muses get no tan because of their bond with the noüs (they can, actually, but the nootic field resets their look every few minutes, in particular if they are pretty popular, like Melpomene or Talia); Fosca get no tan because she loves her pale skin and always applies a 100 factor skin protection cream; Yuki doesn't love the sun and spend all the time under the umbrella... not even my fantasy character get tanlines: I drew Milazuki (her skin type get no visible tan), Eliza (a dark elf, no tan on her grey skin), Elsabeth (a noble elf that probably never ever go at the beach!) and Ardea (coming out from the prison only few hours before).

La cosa divertente è che questo mese ero preparatissimo a disegnare un sacco di linee di abbronzatura su personaggi in bikini (è il mese dei bikini) ma mi sono capitati solo personaggi che non si abbronzano: le muse non si abbronzano (o meglio si abbronzano e si scottano, anche, ma poi il noüs le resetta, e le più popolari vengono resettate ogni pochi minuti); Fosca usa la protezione 100 perché ci tiene alla sua pelle bianca da goth; Yuki non ama il sole quindi se ne sta sempre sotto l'ombrellone; Milazuki ha la carnagione scura e quindi l'abbronzatura, se ci fosse, non sarebbe evidente; Eliza è un'elfa scura e non si abbronza (o magari sì e diventa più grigia ma nel sottosuolo il sole non lo vede mai); Ardea infine è uscita di prigione poche ore prima quindi al limite si ustionerebbe ma non sarebbe abbronzata (e infatti è quello che succederà nei prossimi paragrafi).
Insomma confido nel prossimo mese per le abbronzature, visto che probabilmente continuerò a disegnare personaggi in bikini anche a Settembre.
Nel frattempo vorrei farvi notare che sto cercando di migliorare l'applicazione delle ombreggiature scoperte grazie alla "Warming sketch origins" con Milazuki: quel pennello che fa quell'effetto matita grossolano potrebbe in futuro sostituire i miei tipici "segnetti" nella penombra. Ma appunto, sto ancora imparando. Ci vuole pratica.
