Heroines of the SAO world lose themselves as evil preys upon their body and soul... Asuna caught by the obsessive man who locked her away mysteriously finds herself back in the world of Aincrad but... changed, perhaps for the better?
This story was pretty fun to work on. There are definitely a lot of possession stories out there but a lot of them are usually just about possessing the body and nothing else. Some of them go deeper by letting the possessor inherit their memories but I personally prefer something even deeper where the two people merge mentally too. This kind of concept borders actual body and mind fusion I guess which I plan to do in future stories as well.
The way I told the story was... complicated. I tried to not make everything too obvious, but the concept of merging two minds is definitely more complex which is half the reason why I enjoy it more than the usual possession shenanigans. The way everything plays out is supposed to seem very bizarre and strange, but hopefully it isn't too complex for everyone.
Sword Art Online though, is a series that really good for gender bender and corruption in general, as you get both the mc Kirito getting a sort of teaser "female" avatar that isn't actually female. Also the strong villains are great for making stories, hopefully I'd like to make more stories based on FFO's concept. As for Kirito, there are plans for him as well if things continue...
Definitely one of my darker stories in a sense, depending on your point of view. Future stories in FFO will basically involve similar ideas but slightly different depending on the characters and game, but in generally it'll be about merging and corruption. I do plan to have Asuna and future characters to make appearances as well.
The next story as I announced before is TS Invasion, which is also a corruption story. And the next poll will be in a week.
