as you can see in the video we're on our way to fixing up all the furniture for the first night, i hoped we would've gotten all of them done but it's still a good chunk of them and progress nonetheless. One step further to make the game playable!
as for androcosm, i think i mentioned last time i had to fix the orcs costumes , cgb didn't like much the clothes denoting the job of the orc as the village in the caldera of the volcano is pretty simple and they wouldn't have needed that kind of classification. So i switched to leather clothes and armor, and reduced the kaolin that covered their skin as cgb said it was too excessive.
after fixing the previous batch, i immediately started another to add some variety to the village. Cgb told me these orcs favor spears as a weapon so i avoided using macuahuitls and other kind of weapons ( even if i didn't want to remove the old man's giant obsidian boomerang , i loved it too muchXD)
so after the dwarves and the orcs cgb told me to tackle some of the things further in the game, case in point , the glira :
they're a deep space species of aliens made entirely of a strange protoplasm that is their main body, encased in an harder gummy substance they stretch and mold to take any form they desire. As they're basically shapeshifter it was hard to come up with an unifying concept for the species, but i tried. On the bottom right there is an "ambassador for the wulli"
the wulli is the race of nebber, one of the recruitable companions. The wull and the glira are cosmic neighbors and the aftermath of their first contact is the subject of one of the missions after you leave the initial planet.
after doing the first studies i tried my hand with giving the glira a more efficient way of getting around , while trying to keep their alien-ness. Again , it was p fun, especially since i got to try my hand at a bit of mecha designs as well as alien designs-
anyways, that's all for this week! hope you peeps liked these concepts! more to come!
