Let's talk about what's next.

Hello, Ncrow here!A week has already passed since the public release, and it's time to talk about what's coming in version 0.4.7.

It's incredible how much I underestimated the number of people playing Goddesses' Whim. If it hadn't been for the update button becoming completely overwhelmed, I probably wouldn't have realized it.

We've officially passed 4 million downloads!Thank you all for being here.

My work here is done. I'm retiring.

But now it's time to talk about something important.

Goddesses' Whim has to end someday, but I don't want it to end because of my mental exhaustion and how burned out I am, nor do I want to rush out a terrible ending just to be done with it.

Over the next few updates, (probably the next 2 or 3 releases, with the months we have left this year),I want to give it everything I have and bring the story to a proper conclusion.(For now.)

What do I mean by that?To put it simply, the main questline will have an ending.

"But Ncrow, does that mean GW is ending? Is that the end of the game?"

No. Like I said, it's only the end of the main storyline.

After that, I'll continue working on what I consider the easier content:- Giving each girl her finals Normal/H events.- Improving and fixing the game- Making the things I have left.- Etc.

"But Ncrow, there's still a lot of story left to uncover, and many things remain unresolved."

-Yes, I know. That's why you'll probably realize by now that this game will have a continuation.

"But wouldn't it be better to put the game on hold and continue later when you're less tired? You lazy bastard! Give me back my money and happiness!"

-No. The way this game was built makes it impossible for the story to progress the way I would like it to.

For example, some people say, "Let us remove Ryoko's chains! You hate your creations! I hate you bird!"

Do you realize that among the thousands and thousands of renders and animations used throughout the game, I would have to create thousands and thousands more just to account for a version of Ryoko where the chains are no longer there?

Yeah, that's life.

Well, that was the important topic. Now, what's coming in the next update?The continuation of the main story.The next update will bring new interactions with the Goddesses, more content for the new map, and further additions to the Adventurer system.

Will there be more H animations?Who knows? I don't understand the mind of the developer behind this game either.
