#1 - #10 Dungeondraft Asset Pack rework

DESCRIPTION

My dearest Creative & Thorough GMs!This is something I wanted to do for a while now and finally had the chance to catch up on it:

As you know, I try to design my Dungeondraft packs so that they are not game breaking. And even though I've changed my approach to drawing assets a little bit with the change in my concept starting with the 11th content pack, there are still assets in the old packs that I like to use again and again. However, these were not very optimized and, since these are from the early days when I was still learning a lot, they also contained some content that simply didn't work well, so I tried to compensate for this in new content packs or redesign them.

Nevertheless, I wanted to keep the old packs activated because there were still quite a few assets that are useable. However, these had a total storage size of over 3GB (about as much as ALL the other and often larger packs up to this point XD).

Long story short: I took the #1 to #10 Dungeondraft [Assets] packs, cleaned them up a bit, optimized them, and combined them into one single Dungeondraft pack.

What exactly has changed?

Changed the file format from png to webp.

Changed the naming a bit (took out the # in front and replaced the "-" with "_" in the file name for better search options).

Changed some tags (primarily those that were confusing to begin with (like "bunker" are now "hatches") or where I created tags for later on that I didn't use in the first packs)

Due to the new walls and portal system that I introduced with #11, all walls and portals were incompatible with the new packs. So I have removed all of them to avoid confusion regarding compatibility.

Some Textures just didn't align pretty well or had transparent gaps and so on in between them. Things that are just annoying to deal with while mapping so I took those out since these don't represent the quality I strive to achieve with my packs.

Some assets just didn't feel up to date anymore and felt like they didn't represent my style much longer, so they were removed (primarily old cabinets).

Some Assets got a rework in newer packs so they got deleted. Especially so you don't accidentally use the old version of these assets XD

Added some dirty variants of Objects (Mostly Carpets and computer keyboards)

File Size has now been reduced from 3,3GB to around 400mb

What does this mean?

For Creative GMs:

nothing really changes for you. You just now have the option to use the old assets in a more compressed (and selected) form if you wish to do so.

For Thorough GMs:

The same as for Creative GMs, BUT since you also have access to the Dungeondraft map files of most of my maps this will cause some campatibility issues if you want to open maps up until this point (I am going to use the #1 to #10 compilation "Legacy" pack for the new maps I am going to create from this point onwards).

I haven't changed / combined the [COMPLETE] and [MODULES] pack for Thorough GMs though. Not only would've taken that a looot more time, but I also feel that if you want to use the modular map tiles from these that you probably can just activate that one pack to use them... (Quick reminder: The [MODULES] pack include just the modular map Tiles (That I grandfathered after #10) and the [COMPLETE] Packs include the Assets AND Modular map tiles. So if you don't want to use the Map tiles you don't need those XD)

Of course the old versions of the Asset Packs will still be available to download from the cloud. May it be because you just had one or two favorite Assets that you liked to used but I did delete, you have an old map that you made and want to open but don't have the corresponding pack anymore or as Thorough GM so you can download them to open a map file you want to edit without breaking it.

That said: There are still some (not many) assets that don't have a proper replacement yet (which I have nevertheless removed due to stylistic reasons). One example of this would be the server cabinet. I will try to make up for this as soon as possible with the upcoming content packs with a quality I feel more comfortable sharing. So if there are things you miss, feel free to contact me with specific asset requests (as you can of course always do anyway XD).

Just for a quick overview what packs have now been combined:
