This is going to be a longer comic that highlights a moment of emotional aftermath and coping that Grace goes through following the events of RE9. The comic will release in chunks (more on that below!) and is a slow-burn.

Phew! I promised more Grace, and here we go!
Since the internet is still a flood of Grace-related goodness (Goodness Graceness?) and it feels like just about every angle has been taken already it was kind of hard to come up with a unique idea for this in the first place and even coming up with a lead-off visual to set the tone was really hard, but I think I've settled on something pretty good - and risky.
As I said above, this is a slow-burner. Even slower to get to the action than How I Met Your Choom 2 by a few pages. The script right now is at around 40+ pages, and that doesn't account for any variants, that is just "main" story pages. It starts off on a down note and will build up to the type of content that you're used to, but hopefully that process for Grace makes sense as things open up.
Because of the length of the script, and because of added effects like steam and water and wet skin each page is also very 'heavy' to render out, even without Leon which will only make it worse, this is one of those projects that might take me a couple weeks or more to make and because I promised more Grace for this month's subs who joined for the IT set I didn't want to go back on that word and push it to next month.
Instead of pushing it and releasing it all at once I'm going to release this comic in chunks of at least 4 pages, maybe more depending on how things go. This will also let me work in things like this month's Deputy Commissioner pictures and other things in between to keep things fresh along the way so it won't JUST be this comic until it's done.
I mentioned that this is a risk - and that's because the last few times I've tried "slow burns" character-focused things like HIMYC2 it has kind of backfired. I'm hoping this approach will help keep some of the pressure off and if it doesn't do well then I can cross that bridge when it comes. But! Hopefully it does well all the way through and it's nothing to worry about!
