I had a pretty high-concept idea for this one and knew I needed someone who could do justice to our heroines' restraints and weave together a very complex scene. (Of course, by Eli's personal restraint standards, I guess Wossy and Aer are still getting off pretty easy here. :p )
Since my audience is kinda split down the middle on "dastardly damsel distressers" and "wholesome bedroom buddies", I thought that after such an intense and ending-on-a-bit-of-a-downer story, it'd be fun to bring some levity to the outro - and since those 'thank you' pages that lead into the guest art have always been a side-universe of fourth-wall breaking (issue 2's outro even had Aer reading the script for issue 3), this time we go a step further and show a 'behind the scenes, making-of' type scene! Of course, as a fun twist, through expressions and dialogue we've still ensured that even if the context may be fictional, the Wossy and Aer in this alternate outro-universe still endured a night of very real bondage. Multiple nights, in fact! :D
Also attached is the initial 'ref sheet'/'mood-board' that I gave to Elijah. My desperate prayer of "please figure out a way to squeeze all of this into one picture!" was answered better than I'd even imagined!
