As mentioned in the Dropbox posts, I've recently been moving house and it wasn't the smoothest of moves. Thankfully, most of the annoying/stressful/time-consuming stuff is sorted now - I'm settling in, and have my drawing setup... well, all set up! :D
So here's Shiori's first time visiting the Punitentiary. If you've watched any prison movies, you know there's always a scene where the newbie meets a long-term inmate. Will they dispense wisdom, or threats? Well, luckily for Shiori, repeat-punster Aeria can't really dispense much of anything besides a visual demonstration of what happens when you simply refuse to stop making bad jokes, no matter how many times the authorities lock you up for your crimes against humour!
That said, I actually like to imagine that the Punitentiary doesn't really do looooong-term sentences. Thinking back to when Wossy had to report her during Halloween a couple years back ("...Another week in the Punitentiary? Two? Gosh. Well, if it's fer' her own good..."), it sounds more like Aer simply gets sent for a week of 'rehab' whenever she gets a little too punny. So instead of the sentence growing, maybe it's just the intensity of your uniform & restraints increases every weeklong visit? With that in mind, Aer is probably on her... I don't know, seventh? Eighth? But what about the ninth? Or once she hits double digits?
...Hm, though surely by the 20th visit, where could you go beyond 'Gord ceiling tubes' or the crazy digital prison where the Second Life avatars of Melanie and Aeria currently reside (if you recall the 'Hellgate' pictures where Mel gets slotted into her cell like a vacuum-sealed credit card)? :p Well, still very fun to think about.
