This is a post gauging the general input of everyone given the amount of time and effort i put in to exclusive art and commissions and the actual profit i make off of current subscriptions
So first off,
the 3 dollar tier has historically had access to every work i have posted including monthly projects despite the inability to actually vote on what they would be, (according to every other artist i know, this is a bizarre and slightly over-generous practice) given that it's extremely cheap for the amount of early access content produced, i'm widely considering locking that tier to commission posts only, and reserving monthly projects solely to 5+ tiers, that or a site wide price increase for every tier.
I would still sell the monthly projects in the store for those that just want a specific project, but this would push more people i feel to enter the $5 tier and have more votes on each project poll.
so im asking for your input, do you think i should be getting paid more for what i do here? i only make about $130 per month from this site, (commissions carry the whole ship by a long shot), and i feel giving the lowest tier just those early access is a fair enough deal, and upgrading to be able to see projects that everyone voted on is only 2 dollars away.
