First of all, a bit of context: Normally the way I do things is, I draw, export for Live2D, rig, animated, export and edit as a video then do all the rest on Godot using a video player; the problem with this is that I'm very limited to low FPS and resolutions (also big file size and heavy work on my potato PC).
What I've been trying to do is skip the entire video process and outright import the Live2D rig directly into Godot, that would give me far more freedom on how I animate but there comes the second issue... Godot doesn't natively support Live2D, so it needs some tinkering, lots of it, and that's where I'm sitting at right now--- The alternative and if everything else fails is moving into Unity that does support Live2D natively but honestly? I don't really want to, the main reason being I find their privacy policies and data collection policies questionable at best. >_>But we will see!
With that out of the way: Voting time!
