I just wanted to send a little message here, given... well, what day it is for us here in the U.S. (and how that can have an impact in other places).
Even when politics are looking bleak, I really wanted to give a reminder that: you are not alone. If even just online - you have a community, you have people. Here, specifically, you have a whole host of people that are not only queer, but people from all walks of life (different ages, religions, races) who have all come together for common interests.
And that's not changing.
If our stories and our voices didn't matter, no one would be trying to silence us.
So, I'll keep being here, telling stories for us. Writing about happy and healthy queer romance (admittedly, they take place in a world in which we get to have Charlotte for president... so that would be pretty great)
I'm here, and I genuinely appreciate all of you. I see you, I hear you, and we're going to keep persevering, like queer people always have.
