DESCRIPTION

The Denial of Nothingness was an interesting thing as it was... A far, far more potent version of Shirou Emiya's own 'Tracing' ability. As unlike Shirou who traced an object through the seven steps, the Denial Of Nothingness has three more major and several lesser steps to it.

First and most importantly, the information of whatever I scan and make a mental blueprint of. It is cross-referenced within the depths of the Akasha, and any imperfections are fixed.

Secondly, through a perfect copy of what already exists in the omniverse through the connection through the Akasha, the very universe itself knows whatever I create is real and not a projection of something.

Lastly, and MOST importantly, is the fact that the exchange of magical energy to creation is wildly unequal. And that wild, unequal state is why the Denial of Nothingness is a True Magic. For one part mana, I got thirty parts material cost, regardless of the 'history' and other effects on the item I created.

"Even using Memoria, or the Lies of a History Fictionologist, doesn't allow for the mass creation of matter like this. And even a well-established lie from those weirdo's of Mythus woudn't be as stable as this!" The Herta doll said excitedly as she went over what she had me making.

And what was she having me make in particular? Basically, pocket dimensions filled with massive processing towers that would add computational power to Herta's Simulated Universe.

Stelle was already laid out, sitting backwards on a rolling with her head hanging over the back of the chair as she was dead to the world after Herta did some non-invasive testing on her.

"It is truly a matter that has been brought into the world as I said." I said, shrugging thoughtfully with Herta snorting at my words.

"It's not the fact that you can make matter almost ex-nihlo that interests me... I could do that if I wanted to channel a planet-destroying amount of Imaginary Energy to make energy cubes or something. It's fact that these data towers you made are already on standby to be slotted into the Simulated Universe already!"

I just stared dully at the Herta doll who was 'almost' bouncing with joy before I realized what she was actually excited about. She was actually excited that she got premade data towers that only a Genius could probably make in a sub-dimension and then easily install into the Simulated Universe's systems.

Then after a hum of thought, the Herta Doll twirled around in her chair towards me and demanded. "Anyway! We are now away from the cafeteria anyway. Why don't you grab a new set of powers or something? I want to see if my scanner can pick anything up!"

I blinked at that demand for a moment before I shrugged and said helplessly. "I don't have any tickets left to do any pulls. I was pulling every ticket when I was fighting and messing around."

Stelle perked up at my words and then asked. "How do you even get those perks big bro? Do you find them in the trash, as I find my own treasures!?"

My face twitched at the thought of having to find... All of my Chaos Gacha tickets in the various trash can's spread out across the cosmos. That would be a hell of social death I could never recover from!

Besides Stelle herself, which waifu would tolerate a man who constantly dug through trash cans after all???

Still, I cleared my throat and explained while shoving down the thought of Stelle in full raccoon mode coming to give me a hug after going trash diving and carrying that stank.

"I get the tickets for pulls for... Life-changing moments, or accomplishing something notable I guess you could say."

And Stelle put a finger to her lips before she said in realization. "Wait! So with how you are already a pathstrider and whatnot. Your gacha power's are basically your New Game+ Mode. Where you get to unlock more cheats with achievement points!"

I mean... She wasn't entirely wrong, honestly. And with how I knew a good bit of HSR's plot and even Honkai Impact's own lore as well. This could almost be called New Game+. But I couldn't help but wonder if she got that idle brain-rot thought from Silverwolf.

But then Herta made a disgruntled noise as she snapped out. "Focus! Jake, what kind of accomplishment counts? I assume that higher levels of value in said accomplishment get you better powers or tickets, as you called them?"

At my nod, she visibly considered something for a moment before she looked at Stelle and said. "What are you willing to do for credits?"

And Stelle, with zero hesitation, said firmly. "I would clean out all the trash bins in the Spacestation! Madame Herta is unparalleled and has no rival! I am even willing to go through a sea of knives and climb a mountain of fire for her!"

"You got the idiom mixed up, idiot..." I muttered to myself with Herta's face remaining thoughtful before she nodded and then pointed at me and said.

"Good! Now..." She paused before snorting and saying to herself. "Wait. She happily digs through trash and made a house out of discarded cardboard boxes. She herself doesn't value herself anyway."

And there was a heavy pause as pressure filled the air, and then the Herta in her doll form took a deep breath. With her eyes becoming a heavy weight on my soul as she spoke directly to me.

"Jake Bariss... I will grant you the most important treasure in your life. I will... Allow you to kiss my doll upon the cheek. That will give you a super powerful ticket, I am sure!"

My face twitched at the sheer arrogance that a kiss upon the cheek to a fucking doll she was remotely controlling would be worth a ticket.

And a part of me imagined the scene of me telling her that there was no such ticket and Herta realizing that a kiss with her wasn't worth a ticket!

Now that was a moment worth some Elation and to be remembered forever in my Remembrance.

But I didn't ask if she was sure. I knew Herta's pride and any questions would just make the genius impatient.

So I kneeled down a bit and gave a quick little kiss to her cheeks. Not a big smackero nor did I try to sneak a kiss to her doll's lips or anything.

But even as I stood back up, and the chaos gatcha did in fact ring with a ticket... I coudn't help but note that her doll's skin was really smooth and actually felt a bit like real skin as well.

"So you did get something! Have you already used the ticket? What did it give you, as my sensors haven't picked up anything yet!?" Herta asked excitedly as she walked around me.

Trying to see if anything about me had changed yet.

But uhhhh. [Kiss a Herta Doll on the cheek. -1 Bronze Ticket.]

"Uhhh, kissing your dolls cheek only gave me a bronze ticket. The lowest possible level of ticket." I said helplessly.

Herta's face, even as a doll, twisted up. With Stelle cackling in the background with zero mercy or care for the Genius Society members' face!

A scowl crossed her Herta's doll face with her snapping out. "Shut it you cacking ape! You remind me of those infantile apes that, that Doctor Primitive likes to make."

The genius took a breath before she tsked and with her research mode face back on she demanded. "Alright then Jake! Activate the ticket, then. Let me see what you get from it."

With a mental shrug, I pulled the ticket and then we all froze. As pressure behind our eyeballs built up. And the blood rushed through our veins like beasts chasing after the end. And blood actually visibly leaked from the mechanical joints in the Herta Doll's body at that.

[The Doll]|Common Familiar|Bloodborne - A beautifully crafted doll animated through eldritch means, she possesses no combat ability by herself. But her body is perfectly lifelike, and she possesses fairly competent skills in taking care of others. And in an otherworldly form of maternal care for her master.]

"Hello, my Good Hunter... I am here to look after your dreams as you pursue your own future."

And my mental scream wasn't so silent as I wanted as I whispered and actually took a step back from the painfully beautiful and uncannily perfect doll. "How... How the fuck are you a common familiar?"

To which the Doll, the shadow of Maria tilted her head to the side and her voice silenced even Herta who was about to crowd around the doll. "The watcher, the mother, and the love of the Moon is not so unusual is it? Why would I just wait for you to collect me in the distant future? When I could just come now?"
