Dugu Bo was silent for a good long moment as he considered everything I had said previously. I had offered him several options to cure himself and his granddaughter of their issues.
And as for the cost... It was the Yin Yang Well. A heavenly treasure that he coudn't take advantage hardly at all!
"Hmm, you have offered exactly what I need and desire. In return for not only giving you something I myself can barely make use of. But... I cannot help but want more from you Tian Long." Dugu Bo said shamelessly as he folded his arms over his chest.
"You, you and your supposed alchemy family that no one can find is the one who figured out the secret of Whale Gel. And your offer of making a pill that could allow us to naturally mutate our bodies to make the flaw of our martial soul into something that was beneficial?"
He shook his head and said with a thoughtful look. "A man can't help but wonder... What else can you make or give?"
I gave a thin smile in turn before I said in an utterly blunt manner that made Dugu Bo's shameless smile freeze. "I could make you level up a few times for sure with a heavenly herb. But if you try to lord over me, I can make you explode from the inside with that very same herb."
There was a heavy pause at my blunt reminder at the possibility of killing this Title Douluo and with a calm smile I spoke softly. "The Snow Swan Kiss... It has the wonderful ability to magnify any poison, any disease, any toxin, or negative attribute that touches it by one hundred thousand times."
I leaned forward and said with a chuckle. "If I don't make the pill stupidly short working so that it would only slowly. VERY slowly release it's power into a poison user's body. They will explode. Not even a Limit Douluo could control such an influx of energy haha!"
I then shrugged and said with a grin. "On the other hand... If I made such a pill for your granddaughter to consume? She wouldn't have ANY bottlenecks until she became a Super Douluo at rank 95! And naturally having an unmatched cultivating speed!"
Dugu Bo was clearly imagining it himself. His granddaughter breaking through a couple of ranks every month with that pill. And within a decade, reaching the Title Douluo level and being a pillar of talent to the entire Spirit Master world!
I then shrugged and added with finality. "That is the power of Heavenly Herbs... But, if you don't know what they are. How to handle them without killing yourself to begin with. And most importantly HOW to use them. Then you should just be considering how to keep the best relationship with my friend here and me."
Tang Wutong quickly spoke out. "Not only do we wish to be friends with you. But we also plan to join the Tian Dou Royal Academy. And with Tian Long's alchemy. We can help your granddaughter grow in strength so that we can all fight together at the Continental Elite Young Soul Master Tournament!"
Dugu Bo then gave me a long, searching look. A rather weird searching look honestly. Before he said with a creepy smile. "Fine. Good, Tian Long you becoming my Dugu Yan's friend is her good fortune. So... I assume you both wish to head towards the Yin Yang Well now?"
I looked to Tang Wutong for confirmation, who nodded.
So I nodded myself with Dugu Bo saying with a small smile. "Come then. I will need to fly us to the Sunset Forest as you well know."
Tang Wutong and I followed Dugu Bo to the back of his large mansion and once we entered the open air... Without any fanfare, the Title Douluo picked us up with an arm around our waists.
And both Tang Wutong and I both yelled in surprise as this old bastard shot into the air at high speed, and I felt my damned organs shifting around the G-Forces of our movement as we shot through the air and headed off into the distance!

The trip to the Ice and Fire, Yin Yang Well, only took a few hours. As the Sunset Forest itself wasn't far from Tian Dou City to begin with. And as we reached it, Dugu Bo went to hand the two of us pills that would allow us to resist the poison that surrounded the well.
"I don't need the pill." I said firmly as I walked over to the thick, poisonous green mist and I took a good whiff of it. And I could feel the Flame Emperor's body technique at work as being at the entry point of stage two in the Hearth Fire Body.
The deadly mixed snake venom filled mist was quickly broken down inside of my body without causing damage.
"Well well. It seems that you truly are already all but immune to middle level poison." Dugu Bo said with a bit of a helpless tone even as Tang Wutong looked down right jealous as well about my bodily state.
And that reminded me... The ice and fire alchemy body treatment using the Heavenly fire and ice herb. I didn't 'really' need it actually. I was already immune to fire to an extent as well as poison.
But Tang Wutong, even without having Blue Silver Grass as a martial soul, would profit the best off of the Alchemy Body in any case, as she coated her Hidden Weapons with poison.
Also... I kinda had my own idea for what I should use to elevate my body to it's future peak state!
I was going to fuse four Heavenly Herbs and several lesser ones into a powerful immortal-grade pill and then, while absorbing it. I would then throw myself into the Yin/Yang pool to truly temper my body.
Thus, the Heavenly Herb's effect's would be perfectly fused and there wouldn't be any loss of medicinal efficacy. I would have a literal ticket to heaven with such talent and a blessed body. I would only need to snag a god position in the future, and reaching godhood was an established fact!
Assuming some random older asshole didn't kill me on the roadside anyway... Or say a certain jilted crazy woman thought we disgraced a certain Xiaogang and killed us.
My random thoughts were closed and shut off as Dugu Bo brought us through the thick poison barrier array he had set up.
And as we pushed through a thicket of chest high blue silver grass that Tang Wutong gently pushed aside in her hands with silent care as we walked. A heavy fog of thick spiritual energy hit my face.
I could literally taste the congealed liquid thick spiritual energy in the air as we entered the true area of the Yin Yang Well. There it was, the Yin Yang Well in all of it's glory. The true 'Check-In' area for everyone who transmigrated into this world.
The well itself was a massive pool of swirling red and blue water. One burning hot in molten red that I knew was the result of the Dragon King of Fire's corpse below. And likewise, the freezing cold icy section was the result of the Water Dragon King's corpse likewise lying below.
'I remember that in alot of fics in my old life that some protagonists were able to go down there and find Dragon King level Spirit Bones which were literally God King level! I wonder if I can do the same?' I wondered with a fervor.
But Dugu Bo took my fervent eyes as having been taking in the fucking field of herbs and natural treasures that had been left in the ground.
"Haha! So you do recognize these treasures, huh? So Tian Long, what shall it be then? Will you evolve our martial souls with these herbs? Or will you just go the route of making us the poison sac pills?"
Taking in the surrounding herbs... I recognized plenty that would do just that. Evolve Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan's martial soul so that they woudn't have their issues. Likewise, whenever Dugu Yan had kids, her children would inherit the evolved martial spirit or some mutation based on her husband.
So with a grin I looked to Dugu Bo and said. "How about both? No matter what, even when I evolve your martial soul into a true dragon martial soul. It will still be a poisonous dragon. So why not make you even stronger while we are at it!"
Dugu Bo's smile at seeing my desire for the herbs became more natural as he said naturally. "Then Tian Long... You said you would need a bunch of snake gallbladders and other things. What do you need me to go get then?"
I held up a hand and said a bit sheepishly. "Ah... Then in that case give me a minute. I am going to need to write down a bunch of things."
"I am going to look around while you do that." Tang Wutong said with a glint in her eye's as she instantly gravitated towards the Nine Treasure Purple Zoysia. Which was the heavenly treasure that Tang San at the end of the novel, gave to Yu Xiaogang.
Allowing that damned waste to finally break through his bottleneck and reach level 30. It also gives him a slightly extended lifespan.
In the corner of my eye, I watched her focus on that as well as a high-grade piece of Immortal Grade Ginseng.
'I remember Tang Wutong was interested in finding herbs that could enhance the soul. But those herbs are basically something that could help reinvigorate a body. And it's not like Xiao Wu has died either and need's her body reforged?' I thought.
But I refocused as I had to list several different types of poisonous spirit beasts. Though it was less of that I needed those spirit beasts in particular. But I needed those types of serpents' gallbladders and poison-producing organs.
Finally, after ten minutes of writing, I handed over the list to Dugu Bo whose face twitched as he said helplessly. "There is... Dozens of ingredients on here, brat? Do you think I am made out of money or something?"
I gave Dugu Bo a dark look before I said a bit heatedly. "What?! You think it's damned easy to make an organ for you that can store a Title Douluo's poison? Sure, I COULD make it much simpler, but good luck finding and hunting a Hundred Thousand-year-old poisonous snake spirit beast!"
