Day after day passed by as I spent the vast majority of my time with Summer and Ruby. And each night... Summer would enter my room at night for hot, sweaty, monkey sex with full intent of stuffing her with triplets in her own words.
But time passed by all the same. Time always passed by even if you weren't paying attention. Especially if you weren't paying attention.
And in this time I spent over at the Rose Mansion. I had fun with Ruby as she taught me some dust forging. And I used my semblance to make some machine parts for her.
But the most important thing was that I now had a level of control over my Silver Eyes of Annihilation.
And now riding back to Beacon on the Rose's family Bullhead, Ruby was sitting next to me with a heavy pout. As we were both going to be extremely busy with our short vacation being over.
She had her engineering lessons for making super weapons, her duties as the heir of a duke-ranked house. As well as just general combat and magic lessons. She herself was going to be very busy.
And I was going to be just as busy as not only did I still have magic lessons with Lux. But I was hoping to start a new major project.
Nuclear weapons WERE useful, especially if they caught an enemy off guard, as Lux had explained, the low-yield nuke I used had killed that Abomination without it being able to set up powerful magical or ki shields.
But hauling around a giant missile system on the Black Pearl wasn't really that doable... Regardless of magical means. I really... Really didn't want to be sleeping in the room next door to a nuclear bomb.
That was just common sense.
So how could I get nuclear or otherwise extremely high-yield weapons set up in a way that doesn't have them explode right next to me?
I looked out of the window of the Bullhead, looking past the distant magical towers that were everywhere on Beacon's expansive grounds and looked towards the sky.
The atmosphere was the answer. I couldn't hide shit underground because there were too many strong Grimm. And building extensive weapon systems here on Beacon's grounds wasn't really possible, as I needed a good bit of space.
So that left one solution. I needed to make a space station that could float about in orbit. Or even better... Literally make a giant station on the surface of the moon. As it's not like the moon got destroyed in this timeline either. It was stable from what few studies were made about it.
'This world... People are so busy fighting each other and the Grimm that no one has explored the stars at all. No one has any idea about the neighboring planets in the solar system and there is not even a single damned satellite either.'
But to be fair, this world was even worse off in less military-aligned technology then base RWBY. Not only was there no solar power, but also such. There was no nuclear either as people all used Dust and Magic for energy needs.
And enchanted objects along with Dust BOTH lost their power when they left the atmosphere, as both things relied on using magical energy produced by the world.
"Ruby... You think we can make enchantments that do not rely on the passive mana absorption from the world around us?"
Ruby nodded and said with a shrug. "I mean it's just changing the induction runes to instead take mana from the user instead of fueling itself from ambient mana. It's stupidly expensive though."
I considered her words. And then I had a realization... What if, instead. I tried to use solar-themed runes that could channel absorbed solar energy into actual solar panels to make more power?
And it's not like getting materials up to the moon would actually be a problem at all either! I had my Backdoor semblance that could make a backdoor to the moon inside of a vacuum-sealed room.
And actually building a moonbase woudn't be 'that' hard either. I could literally make one myself with my creation power, or I could ask Calia, the Necromancy Sage, to control the undead to build it.
I made a deep hum of thought before Ruby poked me and said cheerfully. "Also, Jake, Mom and I made you a strawberry and chocolate cake for you and your peerage. It's sitting in the storage so you can take it to your master while it's still fresh and chilled."
"Thank you Ruby. Lux will appreciate that, I am sure." I said with a chuckle as I knew all to well that Luxanna and heck even Cinder would be happy to have such a good little dessert.
Then, with a loud rumble, the bullhead came down and landed on the designated landing zone. And as it landed. My Scroll began to rumble as well heavily.
As the ship was heavily shielded to block enemy attacks and the stray flying Grimm that somehow wasn't shot down by the countless anti-air gun's that filled Vale's airspace.
Which meant I naturally couldn't get messages until the shields went down.
'I bet half if these the thirty odd messages are from New Jersey, another quarter is from Nora... And the rest will be spread out.' I thought with some amusement as I grabbed my bag's along with a couple of Ruby's before we climbed down out of the bullhead.
The moment we left the landing zone and entered Beacon's airport-like area with the mission acceptance area and other bits. I was instantly and brutally attacked!
"Darling!" The strongest 'Black Dragon' cried as I was smothered and crushed into the wonderful yet deadly breasts of my beloved New Jersey, who was cheering for my arrival.
All the while, most of the rest of my peerage in Nora, Ren, Artoria, Velvet and Prinz was here and looking on with amusement... Well, Nora looked like she wanted to break my back with a bear hug, but it was all the same!
