Kaori and Kiyome now both had the local super 'pink of eye' of destiny. With Kiyome having a literal divine eye with the Rinne-sharingan. Soooo my team was rather stacked for this set of Chunin Exams.
It's a good thing it was just common practise for villages to slip in geniuses and people well above the Chunin level in these exams. Otherwise, I might have felt a little bad. Just a little anyway.
But as Kaori came back into the room later... And she saw the Rinne-Sharingan in her younger sister's eyes. There was a heavy inhale of suprise at the sight.
And I realized that in this timeline where Madara didn't actually become a traitor and with so many divine blessings. He himself had his own Rinnegan. As Kaori blurted out. "How did you awaken the Rinnegan of our ancestors?"
I realized that the Rinnegan itself was well known within the clan. Which, to be fair, it made sense, as Madara had the Rinnegan and was semi-known for it with how he and Hashirama threw down with literally dozens of gods and divine champions over the years.
"Akari... Made sure the blessing was thorough." Kiyome said with a heavy flush even as Kaori threw a look of 'What the hell?'
And Kaori then asked with some actual concern. "I am happy for you Kiyome. But... What if you become pregnant?!"
Kiyome's flushed face went nuclear, and she hissed out hurriedly. "I am not going to become pregnant! We didn't do that!"
I couldn't help but cover my face as these two sisters weren't following some easy harem/hentai logic. They were still people with their own goals and thoughts. And thinking the man you were supporting went so far ahead with your younger sister was still going to mess with Kaori at some level.
Then I actually choked as Kaori hissed out in turn as she had a truly outrageous thought! "Did- Did you do it in the butt!?"
And Kiyome literally just kicked her sister, who was sitting across from her up close to inspect her eyes in the stomach as she snapped out. "Quit being weird, Kaori! I swear to all the gods I will smother with you with this damned pillow if you say anything else!"
I then cleared my throat as I said helplessly. "Alright you two... The real question now is. Will Orochimaru become an issue as he has already noticed your chakra stores growing even past my barrier's?"
The room went quiet after my reminder about the scary snake sage that was just chillin in his own inn across the way.
But Kaori then said rather bluntly. "He shoudn't be an issue. He has no reason to go after us after all. It's not like he want's to steal our eyes, which could very quickly get the enmity of the goddess Amaterasu herself."
Then Kiyome gave a thin smile and said thoughtfully. "After all... He was there when the disgraced Elder Danzo was dealt with personally by Amaterasu. I highly doubt that he would dare to touch another Sharingan eye with Danzo's example being made."
That was a fair point. It's not like this Orochimaru was trying to steal an Uchiha body after all. He was already 'immortal' after becoming a true Sage in this world line. And after seeing Danzo getting blasted into ashes via a solar death ray?
Yeah, even less likely would the snake sage go after a Sharingan directly.
But...
And Kaori voiced that but herself as she said helplessly. "On the other hand. Now we have Akari with his Woodstyle, and Kiyome with her Rinnegan. Now every village is going to think that Konoha has a new generation of Hashirama and Madara..."
Then, with a cough Kiyome added with a blush. "And they will also realize that we won't have the rival relationship that Hashirama and Madara had... They will be wary of any uhm- kids we have in the future."
'Fuckin crazy Uchiha's.... They are already 'stating' that we are going to have kids in the future.' I thought helplessly.
Also, I was very, very curious as to how the main/pure branch of the Uchiha clan was going to react to these two 'dirtybloods' getting the Mangyekou as well as the Rinnegan. I was sure Satsuki was going to have a very interesting reaction for damned sure.
I drew a hand across my face as I realized that the village leadership should realize the value in these two girls as well. There could have been the possibility of the leadership dragging our asses back to Konoha. As we were too valuable to be let out with too many different villages' agents around us.
But these Chunin Exams were the entertainment for the gods and the most powerful of royals and nobles. All the villages and nobles were bound in divine oaths not to do skeevy shit that would ruin the show.
I exhaled softly before I said helplessly. "Alright, let's just get some rest for now... We are going to have a very. Very interesting day tomorrow, I am sure."
Bright and early, we awoke from our slumber as the two clingy Uchihas snuggled with me the night. 'Purely for their own chakra growth' In their own proud words, they said.
But we just opened the door, and my face twitched as the heavy and chilled chakra of Orochimaru hit us as the snake sage was literally just sitting in an elegant form across from our room's door.
Somehow... No, actually, his hiding his chakra in the natural energy of the world as a sage made perfect sense.
"Well, well Akari, you were rather-"
Orochimaru's words were rather choked on as while the girls could disengage their Mangekyo state of their Sharingan. Kiyome couldn't turn off the Rinnegan at all.
There was a moment of silence before I said with an utterly flat tone. "Yeah, I know. I was just as surprised as you. Apparently, when Uchiha sneeze while they have their Sharingan active, there is a chance they blow out certain blood vessels, which turns into the Rinnegan."
The snorts from the two Uchiha who had put back on their Uchiha pride masks were well worth seeing Orochimaru's face twitch at my stupid-as-hell line.
