After hyping up Feebas and her desire to naturally evolve into a Milotic. I relaxed for a good bit with the Feebas and Diva. In particular, I helped put some oils and other goodies on Diva's paw pads and other bits.
All so the look's and elegance-obsessed Vaporeon would be happy with me as she laid her head in my lap. While I sat on the edge of the tub and carefully rubbed the special Pokémon water type oils into the creases of her fin-like ears.
Once I was done pampering my two water-type Pokémon I went back into the main room and saw that Hoshino Ai was already dead asleep with her Jigglypuff in her arms as a snuggle pillow.
Meanwhile, Latias and Rose were also dead asleep on my own bed. All three of whom were all breathing heavily in a deep sleep, which made me think that Ai tried to get Jigglypuff to practice singing again.
But that Jigglypuff instead used the actual move 'sing' instead of singing casually which knocked everyone in the room out.
'Whelp... I do got a good few hours till the gym match. I can take a good nap. Would be good after finishing the hike to enter Cerulean City anyway.' I mused.
And with that I climbed into my own bed with Rose waking up at my movement, shaking the bed.
The Kirlia gave me a tired look while making this adorable 'Kir' noise even as she sent me a sleepy feeling. But all the while she pushed herself to lazily launch/fall onto my chest to cuddle up with me as I laid on my back with my head propped up on the pillow.
'You silly thing.' I thought with affection towards Rose. And I gently began stroking her head as I took out my Pokedex to set an alarm and whatnot so I woudn't sleep past my gym battle.
And with that I quickly fell asleep with an adorable Kirlia in my arms... Though I couldn't help but think that once she evolved again. Into a full-sized Gardevoir and if she had the King's Gene like her mother. She was likely going to be even taller then me as well.
Casual snuggling in bed was going to be a very different thing with a king's gene/alpha gardevoir.
'Mommy gardevoir? Or death by snu snu Gardevoir? Which shall be my fate? Who knows...'
I awoke to the lovely sound of my alarm clock and Ai's grumbling which made me chuckle at how she was such a deep sleeper.
"Alrighty, Miss Idol. Let's get going then." I said with a yawn as I looked at the stream's chat... Only to see that Rias and Luna were sniping with the family terrorist in Lelouch.
As for why they were sniping at each other... Apparently, Rias let out that mind control on mundane mortals was one of the simplest forms of magic out there. With even Luna saying how in their world they had an entire police branch basically dedicated to mind wiping mundanes that got too close to magic.
Meanwhile... Lelouch could only give mind control order's on a person once. And to do so, it required him to sign a contract with an immortal witch who had dubious desires.
So while Lelouch was trying to sounds all high-minded about how he was using his mind control to basically get to 'evil' parents who wanted to destroy their world basically by overwriting all of humanity with C's mind or some nonsense.
Rias especially was calling him a muggle/squib scrub with no magical skill. Luna was saying he was a bad person for being a terrorist who got innocents involved...
And Gojo would just out of nowhere keep remarking on how Lelouch had a sexy ninja maid, mind control powers, and was still a virgin...
Then Lelouch and Gojo found out about Valetta, the dark-skinned foreign beauty who Lelouch set up to basically lose her memories in an accident, who basically got turned into a submissive stepford wife for Lelouch's second in command of his terrorist cell.
[WorstTeacher- Yooooo! Even in my world it's only king's and emperor's who literally send their underlings wives who will actually stick with them haha! You aren't so far from your father it seems haha!]
Ohhhh boy, that point about how close Lelouch was to his abusive, neglectful father was a sharp point as Lelouch went quiet. Though I knew he wanted to snipe back at Gojo for being a sarcastic little shit.
But he didn't have the balls to do it for good reason as starting a feud with him would do no good. Probably... Or maybe C.C ordered fifteen more pizza's again and he was screaming at her for draining his accounts.
Anyway. After seeing thing's were mostly chilled out in the chat. I checked the time and saw I still had 45 mins to get to the gym for the match and sent a message in the chat saying as much.
[WorstTeacher- Oh? Another gym battle huh? Is this one actually going to be interesting?]
And with zero shame I replied flatly. [Very fucking unlikely, its not Misty but her influencer sisters who have zero interest in running the Gym as a Pokémon stadium.]
[I am just getting the badge, getting the rewards, and then I am going to get the Prism Stone for my Feebas to evolve. These three sisters want to be movie stars instead of trainers after all.]
Then my face twitched as Rias said.
[PrincessOfRuination- Actually... You guys think their autographs would actually have any value in our own worlds beyond just collecting them? What if we had them sign with the names of their voice actors from our own worlds? Could we game the system like that!?]
And my face twitched as I thought about having like the 'golden trio' of Hermione, Ron, and Harry from Harry Potter signing an actual magic poster or something with their actor names.
[Actually, Rias, what's been going on with you lately? Have you had Riser come around and start nonsense with you yet?] I asked curiously.
As uhhh, Rias was just a little fucked over in the world of DXD. Because she missed Issei's dying contract call using her contract slips. So there wasn't any Red Dragon Emperor in her peerage currently.
But she had been pressing her peerage harder in training at least. Though as for their traumas... She apparently had much luck in helping them in that. She didn't have the sheer 'charisma' and hapless kindness past his perverted antics that Issei had.
So while she did rescue Asia and killed those Fallen that had been tormenting her town. Now she was on the downlow, thinking about using her full stack of Pawn pieces on people from other worlds that had potential but couldn't shine with their low power level worlds.
"The world still turns even with a lever of fate missing." I mused to myself under my breath.
Then I grunted as from out of fucking nowhere, Latias made a happy noise as she was flying around the room, and then dive bombed me right in the stomach with a 'Tackle' from the feel of it.
'You... Little shit.' I thought as Latias happily trilled and rolled through the air to avoid my retaliatory ninja star of a pillow I threw at her.
And with that, I got up fully and got dressed/ready to go smash an influencer thot to get a new Pokémon badge.
I eventually managed to coax the Latias into a Poké Ball as I knew that while I could kinda have Rose out and about as a psychic Pokémon and a known psychic myself. It was very different in having an extremely rare dragon-type Pokémon flying around.
That and I knew that in the heat of excitement, as the battle was going on. The Latias was very highly unlikely to just sit around patiently next to me as the fight went on.
"Let's get going Ai." I said as she finished tucking her Jigglypuff into an oversized backpack.
We then left the hotel without much fuss, and not long after, we got back into the Cerluean City Pokémon Gym. And after signing in I was 'escorted' by two security guards who had fucking their own Machoke next to them, escorting me to the arena section of the gym.
"Bro... Do you really need to have two Machoke's watching me as I do a gym battle?" I asked helplessly.
One of the two large and chunky security guards said rather bluntly. "After some other guy tried to rush another one of the misses, yeah... Heck, just a few days ago, some creep had their Abra teleport in while she was just done after bath to steal one of the misses' used bathwater."
My mouth remained open for a good minute as honestly... Yeah, that was a fair point. To say nothing of some creeper with a psychic type, actually possibly attacking the gym leader herself as well.
Now it all made too much sense when Sabrina explained how rich people kept dark and ghost type pokemon to keep psychic types from messing with them.
Either way, I refocused as 'Miss Daisy' came out of the back with the small crowd of people who just wanted to watch Pokémon battles from their 'Influencer' waifu in action, cheering at seeing her.
And honestly... I got the attraction. Daisy was actually very hot to simply. Even in a rather chaste one-piece swimsuit that went well past her thighs in a dress style. The swimsuit clung to her voluptuous frame. And she wore a bright smile that fit perfectly with her light blue eyes and sun-gold hair that gleamed off the stage lights above us.
"Hello everyone!" Daisy spoke, and I noticed that she had a tiny microphone that was pinned in the top of her top with her voice all to clear to the entire stadium.
And then a soft clinking noise, a small but more normal microphone rose up from my own raised up port that allowed me to oversee the water-themed battle arena.
The crowd cheered in response Daisy's direct attention, and I wasn't left hanging as Daisy gave a wide smile and said. "And let's give a warm welcome to our friend from Saffron City! Jake Bariss, a disciple of the psychic gym leader Sabrina!"
'Huh? When the hell did I officially become the disciple of Sabrina?' I wondered with a blink before I realized that it could have possibly been the other regions snooping around me again after I beat Brock or something?
But regardless I merely nodded before pausing as Daisy spoke that same high-energy tone. "Now, Jake! I hope you give us a good show, and show us the talents of a real psychic! Now try to match this! Goooo Luvdisc!"
Rose who was sitting on my shoulder, leaned in towards me so she could meet my eyes, and with a mental connection, she said flatly Luvdisc barely was able to float over the platform it was tossed onto.
"KI Kirl Kirlia!" [If I go out there... I will literally kill that little thing with my spirit bomb. Go ahead and throw the big fishy then!]
And even in the stream, there was a constant stream of 'booing' as everyone was hoping for a Seaking or a Kingdra, maybe. They would have even been satisfied with a Wartortle, even.
But nope. We got the cute Luvdisc that couldn't even beat a Rattata if it didn't have a surrounding pool of water advantage.
With a solemn tone, I nodded, and with a crisp noise, a pokeball expanded in my hands as I said. "Fine! Here is my challenge to you!"
The pokeball flew out and with a loud noise, it popped open when hitting the platform, which allowed Feebas to hover... Notably more stably than Luvdisc was above the solid platform they were on.
Daisy's face turned constipated at seeing the Hoenn's region's own brand of Magikarp with her smile turning thin as she said with a scowl. "That... Feebas is well-trained huh? But shoudn't you be using a psychic type as an actual psychic?"
And without a lick of shame, I said bluntly into her mind. [As a gym leader, shoudn't you be using local region Pokémon to test challengers to see if they are truly worthy of giving a badge to?]
But then I smiled as her face went pale at my mental domination that took over her mind before I said casually. "Oh. This is all in good fun, right, Miss Daisy? Now come on then, you can make the first move!"
As her Luvdisc floated in the air and actually tilted ninety degrees to look at it's trainer with how it's eye's were on the sides of it's head... I waited for Daisy to speak before I made my own move.
Daisy didn't 'disappoint' as she coughed and spoke firmly. "Luvdisc use water gun! Push his Feebas into the water!"
After she finished speaking. I mentally connected with Feebas who leapt into action!
Feebas shot forward at high speed as I had trained her very specifically, knowing her mobility issues, into learning Aqua Jet as a replacement for Quick Attack.
And with my psychic energy boosting her form, she was able to use two attacks at one... The Feebas became a fish-shaped rocket of doom, as even while using Aqua Jet, she also performed an Iron Tail.
Allowing Feebas to charge directly through the water gun that the heart-shaped little fish was shooting at it.
The Luvdisc screamed dramatically as it was slapped by an aqua jet-enhanced iron tail that slapped it across the arena like a stone that was supposed to be skipping across water.
And with an almost comedic little splash to me. The Luvdisc skidded across the platform on its scale-covered body until it lightly splashed into the giant pool surrounding the central arena.
The Luvdisc then just floated there atop the water. Clearly stunned and thinking. 'Who am I? Did I just get hit in the face by a bus?'
And as Feebas, under my mental control, swiftly approached, I called out verbally. "Feebas, use Ice Beam to freeze the Luvdisc!" I called out.
That was it then... Daisy threw a Pokémon clearly used to Coordination Events and not actual gym battles to me, who took it entirely too seriously.
Within but a couple of moments, the Luvdisc became a large ice cube that was frozen in the pool water with Daisy slapping a button that rang out a loud horn as she put on a fake smile as she said.
"Wow Jake! You are such a strong trainer who has managed to train a Feebas into a pokemon who can use two moves at once! Impressive for someone of your age who only now has two badges!"
'Bitch... I know I am older than most kid's who just start their journeys but at least I don't pretend to be a trainer in general.' I thought with some annoyance.
And for a moment I considered giving her a super wedgie or something with my psychic powers but as another security guard came over with an ornate platter that had my gym badge and a TM Disc... I decided not too get revenge so publicly.
It had nothing to do with the three Machoke that were hovering over me, ready for me to make a scene. I most certainly wasn't afraid of a Pokemon who could literally punch another Pokémon into orbit.
[PrincessOfRuination- Jake... If I send some cursed voodoo tools. You wanna make her break out in terrible acne or something?]
I gave a thin smile before I responded in the stream chat. [Nah... I am just going to bully her sister later on if I ever see her.]
[BestLittleSister- Uhm maybe, you can just bully her in the future? No need to go after family?]
[WorstTeacher- Yeah... About that, before we harp about not going after family members, maybe you should remind your brother that lmao.]
My face twitched at that rather pointed reminder that Lelouch was, to my knowledge, in second place for killing his own family. Second only to the 'Filial King' himself in Itachi Uchiha.
Anyway, I took the Water Badge that made the Streaming Sytem ding in congratulations as well as the TM, which was marked as it being Hydro Pump. And after I took the two major prizes, one of the security guards told me.
"The monetary funds for your win will be sent to your trainer account. Please follow us so we may escort you safely from the arena." The security guard said seriously.
And for a moment I wondered why I needed to be the one escorted 'safely' away. Before the violent boo's at me hit my ears as I walked past the stands to head back into the locker rooms.
