For those not on Discord or out of the loop, I've had a pretty rough 2nd half of 2025.
My mom's chemo, my cat's passing from kidney failure, and some family getting unemployed all happening within a short time of each other. Basically I've got a long hospital bill, and a lot less people to help with it financially, so I've been grinding out small and non-vtuber comms 24/7 since July.
As a nice cherry on top, I've caught the shingles and can't get painkillers, so sleep is kind of a huge issue now (I've insomnia on top of other sleep problems). The doc said that it's due to heavy stress and a period of low immunity, so whoopty-doo.
So there's a decent amount of things that are threatening to spiral out of control, and I need to slow things down to get plans and contingencies in place.
TLDR; Taking break, but not a hiatus, will still be releasing content.
I'm just going to have to slow down comm activities and recover. Give myself some time to pace my own stuff for this NNN and Xmas/NewYears. It's a soft break since I can't stop activities entirely.
If you've paid the 1st half of your comm and have WIPs from me, your comm is still active and I'll still be working on them.
If you received an expected start date for the comm (e.g. I mentioned mid Dec or something), it will most likely have to be pushed down a month or two. This is on a case-by-case basis and I'll be DMing all those affected.
Naturally, this means the comm queue will slow down for a month or two. If you wish to know your comm status, like your priority and estimated future start date, feel free to DM me (preferably on Discord).
