“Want to talk about that dream?”
Jeongguk freezes.
“I don’t remember.”
Right..
“I can tell you’re lying.” He says a bit more gently. “You seem a little embarrassed about it.”
Jeongguk swallows, eyes glued to the desk.
There’s something quite adorable about him being in distress, he’s reminiscent of a little fawn just darting around cluelessly.
“I just—“ Jeongguk sighs, leans back in his chair, rubs over his forehead. “Fuck, I don’t know.”
God, his neck looks good from this angle.
“I guess I— dreamed of someone talking to me.”
“Mmh.” Jimin nods slowly, doesn’t want to make assumptions, but from the context of the conversation before.. “Talking you through it?”
Jeongguk looks at him, like a deer in the headlights.
“Telling you how to touch yourself?”
He asks, out of sheer personal curiosity. Nothing professional is going on here.
“Yeah..” Jeongguk breathes out, looks at the desk, cheeks red. “I think that’s what it was.”
Huh..
He licks his lips, represses any inappropriate comment that comes to mind and just plays doctor.
“Was there any significant difference from what you were watching and how it played out in your dream?”
Jeongguk’s leg stops bouncing for a second, and he slowly looks up at him.
“Uh.. you mean..”
“I mean, what factors were different? Were you dreaming about someone you know?”
There’s nothing but silence. Jeongguk’s brain seems to short-circuit, bless him. He’s really going through it, huh?
“No— no, I don’t think so.” Jeongguk splutters then, shakes his head and chuckles. “Why— like why would that matter?”
Jimin quirks a brow.
“Because.. you might have a crush on someone?”
“No, no.”
Jeongguk shakes his head as if that’s absolutely impossible. Unthinkable.
Seems like there’s something there.
Jimin would love to pry more, but he just lets that particular part go for now.
“Okay, well, what else do you remember? Were you lying down? Was the person with you?”
“I was sitting.” Jeongguk looks down at the desk. “The person.. was like, across of me.”
Funny.
That’s kind of how they’re sitting now.
He shoves the thought aside, but Jeongguk’s eyes dart up to his, then quickly look away.
Oh.
Oh wait a fucking second.
Jeongguk’s demeanour, his flushed face, the way he avoids eye contact, the stuttering.
Oh fuck.
Was he in the dream?
