Hello Patrons 💖
I wanted to share some thoughts about my future updates, WIP previews and a new collection format I would like to try.
Collections and a New Way to Create Updates
As you know, in the March update, I gently introduced one animation with two separate stages. I did this because I think this division looks more aesthetically pleasing, flows better, and gives the animation a better pace.
In the April update, I made another change the entire month was focused primarily on one specific item. You could say it was my first small collection, which I created just to see if you liked this format.
After all this, I came to a conclusion. Having more experience with animation, although I'm still learning and there are things I might not know yet, I'd like to try something more structured: a *stage collection*.
I'm thinking of collections that aren't just random sets of animations, but that have a simple outline of the situation and progression. For example: forbidden romance, betrayal, secret meeting, or some other similar theme.
Such a collection could have an intro, a few main animations/positions, and a finale culminating in a climax. This way, each animation would have its own place within the overall sequence, and the update could look more like a small story or chapter, rather than just individual animations thrown together.
WIPs and GIFs
As you know, I also conducted a poll regarding WIPs, and most of you chose GIFs.
That's why, with future collections, I'd like to show short animated previews more often, so you can better see the movement, dynamics, and overall feel of the animations before the release.
Of course, this doesn't mean I'm completely abandoning screenshots. Images can still appear, especially as thumbnails or additional previews, but I'd like to place the main emphasis on GIFs for WIPs.
Refreshing an Old Package for the 3rd Anniversary
Additionally, to celebrate my 3rd anniversary of creating animations, I'd like to refresh one of my older packages preferably one from the beginning of my career.
I don't just want to improve individual details, but to create a more modern version of this package: with better posing, smoother movement, greater dynamics, better timing, and a more refined atmosphere.
This will be a symbolic comparison for me: the old version from the beginning of my journey and the new version after 3 years of experience, learning, and development.
I'll treat this remake/refresh of the package as a special anniversary bonus, showing my progress and how much my approach to animation has changed.
What I want to achieve next?
I want future updates to be more cohesive, more interesting, and better planned.
Instead of creating everything randomly, I prefer to increasingly create something with atmosphere, a theme, a clear beginning, development, and ending. This allows animations to be not just individual scenes, but part of a larger whole.
This will be the next step in my animation development, and I hope you'll enjoy this format. 💖
