Hey guys, I have prepared a quality of life upgrade for your studio today. As the title suggests, this is a sanctioned expansion to ManlyMarco's indepensible ExtraMoveAxis, one of HS2's core plugins.
MoveAxis is my most used tool for tweaking poses or creating new ones. Though this is the gizmo that I use to do almost all of my actual posing, the fact that I had to constantly move my mouse away to click the damned tiny FK nodes on the character's body and then come back to the gizmo to pose them brought me endless frustration. This overhualed version of the plugin finally addresses this issue.
What the overhaul does:- Allows user to use the scroll wheel on the gizmo to cycle through the character's FK nodes- Locks rotation of elbows and knees to the anatomically correct axis (while using the gizmo)
What these features allow (with a little practice) is the ability to pose an entire character with one rapid series of movmenets on the MoveAxis gizmo without ever having to take your mouse off of it. For people who pose (like myself) this is a geninue game changer and I suspect that it'll make some posers out of you guys as well! The scrolling function skips over finger FK bones on purpose because I use it to rapidly pose bodies. I recommend using MoveController by Mikke for fingers
Future plans for this plugin:- Many exciting features. I intend the v2 of this plugin to feature some advanced IK-like features for FK posing. V2 will make posing so easy and fun that it will sort of be my "teaching you to fish" instead of my usual "giving you the fish" inflection point. -Availability for KK and HS1
