Duck Rabbit 🦆🐰

I recently got a small thermal printer and I've been obsessed with it 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 Hopefully it's not a phase and I will continue to print and experiment with it 🕵🏽... This is what it looks like. I don't know why they're misleading us with the design by putting that black lens-like circle, it looks like an instant camera. And I was going to go for the instant thermal printer but I like this one better because I can connect it to my phone and print whatever I want. The printer doesn't have to look like a camera to make it appealing. Crazy beauty standards 😶‍🌫️ Anyway 🐛 Do you want a freshly printed toasty slice of bread? 🍞 I made this sandwich with it 🥪 Yesterday I made myself draw mindlessly. Anything that would come to my mind was welcomed and I could only think of ducks. So I drew some ducks, a chick and a worm, birds and peas and a fork : 🦆🪿🐥 🪱🫛🍴 I don't think much of the drawing itself but the process was quite enjoyable. I loved gliding my crayon highlighter pens over the paper 🖍️ This one particular duck stood out to me and got me thinking : This looks like rabbit ears peeping 🐰 So I quickly made an animated sequence on the iPad and printed it on my thermal printer before I lost my semblance of motivation 🖨️ I put them together on Stop Motion Studio. Great, easy to use app ⭐ It's free, there's also a paid version (one time payment)This was my set-up : This is the result : I made the sound by scratching my chair and screaming and putting a voice effect on my voice when the rabbit head comes out of the duck 🗣️👾 When I was googling 'rabbit' and 'duck' for images, I saw this search suggestion and I was like whoaaa I completely forgot about this rabbit duck illusion : Maybe I subconsciously thought of animating the rabbit coming out from behind the duck but then it's not really a duck and this illusion and my animation are two fairly different things but I find it interesting that they both involve rabbit and duck 🌞🌜Here are some more photos I printed : Friends 👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏾👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏾 Mother 👩🏽‍🍼 Important photo (maau's empty balls) 🍒 Overlayed a photo on top of another (printed on a print) 🪸🐌And lastly, here's a photo of me and maau being printed : Ok bye bye 👋🏽Thank u for everything 🩷 I had a difficult day today but I'm glad I was able to make this post 🖊️ ✅ Aditi👉🏽🥪👈🏽
