EDIT SOLUTION: Thanks for the input, guys! I was able to find the issue with some of the reports I received. The end to this resolution revolves around Darius, and there's a piece of code that causes his turn to forever get skipped if his HP drops below zero (but he still remains on screen). If you notice Darius's turn getting skipped, just restart the fight. I'll fix the bug and do an updated build later!
It seems a handful of people are having issues with the LnL fight. It's hard for me to pinpoint exactly what's going wrong, so any of you that seem to be having issues, could you give me some information?
The boss only has 35 HP, so if you track how much damage he takes and it is more than 35...
How many enemies are still alive (try killing all the small ones first)? Party members? What class are you? Are you getting frequent messages about the attacks missing (from party members and enemies)? Is Beegdek dead or alive (this is very important actually, as he shouldn't actually die)? Some people claim hours on this happening, which should mean the party would be dead at that point (or at the very least, Beegdek v Draonkin). Potions are finite, and unless you're healing every turn...
That info would help me narrow down what's going wrong. People seem to be getting vastly different results here. I know I played a couple of times where it was over in a few rounds (I had some good damage rolls it seems!), and others, I went through a bit more. And I played it a toooooon.
I also added to my update schedule. I'm doing the next housekeeping a little out of order due to company I'm having later this month. Spencer's update will be the 16th this month, then another housekeeping on the first (and I won't do another of those until new years). With all of the sprites replaced, I'll be having GerBear use that time to knock out some other art pieces for Harold's route and maybe the last couple of sprites needing to be replaced. Many of you will notice that there's no Richard yet, but we won't start Richard until Harold's stuff is 100% done (then we can focus fully on Richard). Keep in mind, Chester and Spencer are nearing completion too, meaning when I start Richard's route... He'll be getting frequent updates. Richard's coming, but we want to clear what work is still on the backlog before pressing into a new character starting.
