Howdy, folks!
Patreon goofed up some stuff with their payment processing it seems, and it caused some folks to have declined payments and stuff like that. If you keep having trouble with things like that, I'm sure they'll have things situated soon!
I've heard some people have even had their pledged removed completely, so for those of you that follow multiple people, do make sure that hasn't happened to you.
It's a bit frustrating for everyone, but do be sure you folks check this stuff and check with your banks in case you're having issues with things verifying (some are just getting marked as fraud).
A lot of creators depend on this stuff, so it's aggravating for everyone, but please check on that stuff!

Hi there,
An issue with a payment partner is causing a slightly higher-than-normal number of your patron payments to be declined by their banks. We've traced the increased declines back to payments system upgrades required by one of our processing partners. Patrons might see some payments declined while changes take effect.
If a patron reaches out to you about a decline, you can advise them to follow these steps:
- Contact their card issuer to confirm the charge is valid and retry that card
- If the retry does not work, try a different payment method. Patrons can edit their payments in their Settings, under Billing History:
