DESCRIPTION

I'm officially back from my vacation, thank you all so much for your well wishes and your questions!

Also, just a little bit more clarification on "head" voice vs "chest" voice (because I forgot to mention it lol), they also are called that because of where you feel the resonance when you are performing. With a strong "chest" voice, you feel the vibrations of the sound more in your chest, and with a "head" voice, you feel the vibrations more in your head. For example, masculine voice falsettos are a "head" voice for the most part. In addition, head voices can sometimes have the tendency to sound more nasal due to the resonance being formed more in the head, and not being able to rely as much on the diaphragm to help with power and resonance, so the throat/nose sometimes is used to compensate, which can cause that more nasal quality (especially for those performers who have not trained their head voice as much as their chest voice).
