DESCRIPTION

A number of you were upset about BeamNG removing the saving and reloading damage feature. They restored the feature, but it may be removed in a future update.  Currently, I am looking into what can be done to make sure this does not happen. I have added code so that it will be available if they remove it. Another issue needing to be addressed is with the node location/rotation. After the derby is complete the location/rotation of each node is stored in a file.  When the vehicle is reloaded the file is restored, and each node needs to be placed in the correct location of the newly spawned vehicle’s nodes. This is challenging to figure out because the nodes from the damaged vehicle are different from the newly created one. I have been testing different node locations/rotations but have been unsuccessful at restoring the nodes. Mostly it just causes the vehicle to explode. To make a long story short, it‘s a physics thing.
