Hello Fair Ground fans, and happy Throwback Thursday! My earliest memory of a demolition derby is watching my dad compete in the county fair. When I got old enough to drive, my parents’ gave me their old car and I got it ready for demolition. My first demo car was a Ford Escort. My wife, then girlfriend, helped me with the paint job. We went with a Spiderman theme. I can’t remember what place I got. However, I do remember one of the officials made me quit because my gas tank was rubbing on the ground. Unfair if you ask me. There was no gas leaking at all. What are some of your demolition memories?
