Hey!
Remember when I said the next post would be for Perfect Partner? I lied.
Not intentionally, of course, but I've got over 40 "raw images" so far and I'm not quite done with it yet. It'll probably end up closer to 45-50 pages (depending on what gets axed on the cutting room floor). When I post a big story update, I try to post something that has a "complete thought"; almost like a 'chapter', or a segment between commercial breaks. I didn't want to break this up into segments because it would be a bit too jarring.
Since I know not everyone is in Discord listening to me rant and rave, I wanted to make a little post letting everyone know that "it's coming, and it's just taking a little bit longer than usual because it's going to be a bit bigger than usual!".
Now, of course, it's against da rulez to make a post without pictures, I decided to take a very small detour into my thoughts on Daylight Savings. I always have to work during daylight savings to make sure things don't break; it's a multi-day affair. I'd probably be further along with stories if I didn't have to deal with it. Thank you Aurora for accurately representing my feelings on this matter! ♥
The other bit of news I totally neglected to share is that I lost wisely allocated a couple of days during the back half of October to building a NAS. I had to learn quite a bit to make this work, which made the process a bit slower than it could have been. That said, I feel better knowing that my backup is now more robust than what I had before, which was basically nothing! I'm going to celebrate this unreasonably lavish necessary expenditure in the best way I know how: with a short story. :) (after Perfect Partner is COMPLETELY DONE though!)
