Hanako's update is releasing next Tuesday, so it's about time we share more information on what exactly should you expect!
First and foremost, this is our biggest update to date. And this is also the last time we use words "our biggest update to date", because at this point they lost all meaning. We keep treating page and image counts as records we need to break and it reached such an absurd extent that this release basically triples the size of Hanako's route. In fact, this update took so much of out me (the writer), that I had to go into three-day-long coma just to forget I had to write a script this big.
Now to some fun facts:
This content release is BIG. If you're one of the people who play our game for the plot, you'll be eating good. To give you some numbers, our previous biggest story update was around 56 pages long. This one is over 80 pages.
Since Hanako is among the most requested characters for us to add/update, we went balls to the wall in terms of making her route the best it could possibly be. We set a goal to create a route that would compete for the spot of the best one in the game and, in my opinion, it's a solid contender.
This update also brings back branching paths, and while they don't affect the ending, they will affect how you'll get to it.
You will experience Hanako from many angles and in various costumes. It ain't easy to come up with new ways to show tiddies, but we managed.
We won't make another update this big for a while because we reached the limit of all-nighters we can pull in quick-succession. Next few releases are gonna be on a slightly smaller size. Which is still bigger than anything we released a few years ago by the way.
There will be a release sale. If you've been looking for a good deal on our game, this is the best bang for your buck in terms of content quantity in relation to price (in my opinion, obviously).
Actually, my colleagues were very mad at me when I insisted to release all of this stuff in a single package instead of splitting it into multiple separate releases. Luckily, they don't live anywhere close to my location, otherwise I'd be already stabbed.
Sorry that we've been slacking when it comes to posting spoilers. Usually it's my job, but I was so deep into the writing process, everything else seemed like an afterthought. I sincerely hope that the quality of this release would make up for the radio silence during February.
