Every once in a while our community collectively decides which original character to form a cult around, and this time it happened to be Bo. The unrelenting joy the team experienced when we realized that players not only wanted but needed more Bo in their lives cannot be overstated. She is, without a doubt, one of our personal favorite inclusions in a long time, and we had a tremendous amount of fun coming up with silly ideas for this storyline. From the very beginning, we were laser-set on creating a route that would feel distinct from anything else currently in the game, something that was, just like Bo herself, unorthodox compared to other romantic interests.
Without spoiling too much, she will become your new, albeit temporary roommate. And while it might sound like a dream come true, you aren't ready for the amount of sass this alt-girl has in store! Also, this is one of those stories that will be expanded quite often due to the... unusual nature of it. Don't worry if you don't see the exact type of content you're into this time around, because Bo will return. Many times. And each will be more memorable than the last. Animations are back as well, by the way.

WHY IS SHE LIKE THAT?
Lead writer here. I was left unsupervised while making this post and I couldn't miss a chance to abuse this power. First of all, this update is quite big. Maybe not record breaking, but it's definitely up there in terms of the sheer amount of new story. I spent much more time than I should've adding all kinds of little things like bonus interactions, and even missable side-content just because writing Bo turned out to be one of the best professional experiences I had in a while. The story will, of course, follow your growing bond with Bo, but you’ll also get to bear witness to how she interacts with the world around. I highly suggest that you click on her sprite any chance you get, and experiment with time skips while she's present in your room. Bo will often have a few additional things to say to those who are looking for small talk.
For Bo herself, I didn’t even need to be coy about the answers to the questions people have had. You'll find out how Bo manages to be everywhere seemingly at once, why she has multiple roommates, and so on. Answers, at last! But out of all stories I have written so far, I think this one does the most to cement the feeling that something is always going on behind closed doors, just out of sight. New questions will slowly creep out from behind the curtains as the story progresses. Like, who even is she? Why is she like that? And why does her perfume smell so good...?
WE COULDN'T FORGET ABOUT SONYA!
While Sonya is definitely not the main focus of this update, she still gets plenty of time to shine. If you have recently played through her romantic storyline, you might remember that it ended on a somewhat bittersweet note. She felt something new, something alien to her sex-positive brain — jealousy. And those feelings of jealousy eventually caused an entire cascade of problems you'll have to solve before inviting Bo into your room.
We didn't want to go the easy route of sweeping everything under the rug and pretending nothing ever happened. Instead, characters were allowed some room for growth, given a chance to express their opinions and concerns, and then make an informed decision on how to move forward.
Consider this an "intermission" of sorts. It might not be a fully-fledged story expansion for Sonya, but the entire first half of this update technically still happens within Sonya's route. That also means that you should check her contacts tab for hints during your playthrough up until the point where you finally invite Bo over for the night.
HANAKO IS UP NEXT!
In fact, the development of Hanako's upcoming Part Three update is already well underway. After her previous release, which ended up lacking in the spice department, we're working double-time to add more horizontal action than we originally intended. No more blue-balling, promise.
Our team learned an important lesson — we have to always find a balance between the believable slow-burn story with a big payoff at the end, and the porn. Going forward, we'll do our best to always include at least some content that would make you dim the lights and whip out the paper towels.
