2025.Christ almighty 2025. Maaaaannnnnn i don't even know where to start- i already knew it was gonna be a LOT just by the simple fact that it ends in an odd number lol. It's been a lot for everyone involved im sure but hey! Any one of us reading this are still here yeah? And i'm still kickin' and makin' art despite the woes. I'd say i did pretty good in terms of pieces this year, kind of accidentally adopted a new style on the simple fact that it's nicer for my wrist/hands. (damn you carpal tunnel/RSI). I was admittedly a lil insecure about it because i was afraid it looked like i was just putting in less effort but apparently most people just genuinely didn't notice. Dunno if that's a good or bad thing lol. That aside though i impressed myself MULTIPLE times this year so that's something to have a big stupid smile about- but enough rambling, let's go over my favorites from the year.

JANUARY: ROCKFEST
First thing's First: I hate Rocket's Marvel Rivals design. no 🍅🍅 yeah i know 🍅🍅 i know i know 🍅🍅🍅 i know yall love it 🍅🍅🍅🍅 but ohhhhh god it has irked me since i first saw it and has only haunted me ever since the game got more popular; so when i got a request for him i figured yeah i'll do it but at the same time not give him the spotlight because there are so many way better iterations of the character. Also an excuse to draw OG Rocket!! Pretty underrated but i understand him not being as appealing bc he was a REALLY different guy. All that aside though i do really like how everything came out, i even tried to include all of their trademark firearms n stuff n made it all comick-y for the chatty two. Nice, nice.
FEBRUARY: DREAM BEFRIENDING
Anotha request one. If there's one thing i love doing it's referencing GBA/Old videogame color palettes and incorporating them into my piece. I also got to show off my reverence for the Kirby series thru it- a good couple years ago i had a whole PHAAAAASEE where i was highkey obsessed, so in the midst of playing star allies over and over and over again i got attached to these two. Those doodles you see in the bubbles (referencing squeak squad hehe) are actually an OLD ass thrown together comic talking about the whole kirby kiss healing thing but with these two funny men- 'm happy i got to take that further with a whole piece. I abused the hell out of screentones here pff.
MARCH: CASTLE SURPRISE
OOOGA BOOGA, It's Parody Mario! Y'all know i do a Mario Day celebration every year, so i figure taking ONE detour for fun would be fine! Plus, i'm perpetually hankering for any art depicting Bowser thoroughly exhausted (because GOSH are so many people so ready to bend over for a big man! Stand up! Touch HIS butt!). I mean for pete's sake i've been mulling over having an entire august or a week in august just be about Bowser Butt Bashing. Went doubly in for this whole idea by referencing a couple Super Mario World things here and there (the door, Parody's textboxes, the castle interior background) since that's half of the basis of P.Mario's design- even though i absolutely broke/made the continuity nebulous on account of the Double Cherries and Wario being there. Prom prom next MAR10 will have our sweet lil man in the spotlight instead, teehee.
APRIL: INVENTOR INTERVENTION
Yordles! There's a lot i'm happy about with this piece in particular! And you KNOW that's true because usually this would be the spot for the 4/13 celebration. I've finally learned to draw Kled all nasty and kinda ugly like he should be (though January's Bigwig piece showed that off first) but it's finalized in my style and im used to it. But the most important/notable thing here- this like thin and colorful line style. I've been thinking of doing something kinda like this for a while now but figured this was as good as any opportunity to try it out, 'n dare i say it went swimmingly! I'm kinda surprised this is the one and only time i tried it through like...the entire year. From the lil effects to the anatomy I can't really say too much here because i don't even PLAY league but you know everyone loves them a Yord.
MAY: BURGER BUDS
I don't want to say this one has been long coming or something like that for real but i mean like.....Bob and Teddy are so cute and ridiculous with eachother it's kind of always on the brain whenever they interact. They are also individually very handsome so yeag i took up this request in a hurry. I feel i did a pretty damn good job translating the noodliness of the style while also combining it with an at least interesting pose. The curving of the BG also definitely helps it have a bit of pizazz- though admittedly i didn't really know what to do colorwise for it all hence why it's all Ourple. Ah well, get's the job done, yeah? Now get to flattening those buns, Bob.
JUNE: GETTIN' JIGGY WITH IT
Dead of ass if you ask me i'll say this is probably one of the top 5, maybe even top 3 best things i've done the entire year. Just ouuughhhh i got him so RIGHT im gonna pat the fuck out of my back bro. His big stupid eyes, large cartoony hands and paws, briefs- The colors and shapes of highlights i just feel like i got this shit DOWNNNN. I even drew the wang right! And i usually struggle with that i feel! not to mention the addition of K-Rool as well. I am so happy with how this came out so i will firmly slap this on the list here HELL yeah. SO right that he ousted the Eggman piece i did for the year.

JULY: FREDDY'S ADULT SHOW TRIALS
If you've been paying attention you may have noticed a drastic uptick in the amount of Freddy The Fazbear appearing on here, 'n i'm here to admit and say that i think for the time being and/or officially he is at the top of my crush list. Idk what happened but i think about him all the time and want to hook my fingers into every little segment of his big robot body. But yeah this piece here and how hard i went in on it is a testament of that; i feel like almost any time prior to this of me drawing Freddy always looked kind off or bad but i'm getting a real understanding of him in terms of art and i'm LOVIN' it. He is such a bad bitch though, i would fuck the shit out of that robot man i'm not even- Also yes obvi disclaimer this Fred is just a robot (at an adult's establishment) as opposed to y'know, canon Freddy situation. Expect a lot more Fred in the coming year tbh...
AUGUST: HAPPY BOWSER DAY
I'm not sure if it's because i consider August to be a little dry or just really like how i put this piece together but here's my piece of the celebration for 8-4, Bowser Day. Like i said prior, i love putting that big man in situations that that'll leave him splattered like a canvas. I think i like it especially so because of what/how it originally started; what an improvement! Also thank G everyone got over DK's new redesign; i think it's a definite improvement and allows him to be more of a character than a dunderheaded ape. (which he is, yes, but yknow.)
SEPTEMBER: BIG FRIENDLY FELLA
THIS?! This was fucking crazy imo. I've ALWAYS been mad about how i draw Big- y'know im a stickler for trying to get as close to the characters' actual design as i can but every time i drew him prior i felt like i was getting something wrong; so i guess i just needed to sit the hell down and doodle him on a whim for a couple hours and we end up with this??? magnificent piece?? I love p much everything i did here ouugghh. Sorry to sound egotistical as HELL but iiiiiiiiiii think i ate. cleared the plate, no crumbs. Not to get too bluntly sexual here but the idea of that thong belt thing is literally so stuck in my head, just like it's stuck in his-I even went the extra mile in getting the correct fonts, remaking the 'Adventure logo, and creating that 2k vibe water background grahhhh i love Big i love that big stupid round cat. Great piece! Definite hall of famer i'd say.
OCTOBER: JACKENSLIMED 1/2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9
I had an idea and boy howdy did i execute it. Ever since Chap 4 of DR dropped i've had my eyes on Jackenstein both in a personal sense and also a 'oh furries are going to tear you apart im so sorry' way but apparently (just like in the canon itself) Gerson shielded him/put himself in front of him to recieve the brunt of all that attention. I suppose that's part of the reason i went so hard into this whole 9 page comic; i just really wanted to show not only him but my proposed dynamic between the both of them. I tell ya, i would rushing like crazy to get it done in time but it still kinda bled into November so it's whatevverrrrr. Real proud of the result though, even got my best friend to help me on the closing page. Now if only i had this kind of mojo when working on my own stuff,,,,NOVEMBER: STRIPE STARIN'

DECEMBER: ELF PARTY
Now while i do love and cherish Santa Claus; I have to say that out of the 3 pieces i've made for this little celebration this was definitely my favorite. I just feel the color balance and whole situation is soooooo nice here. I can't say too much mostly because it is my own elf designs and santa's elves are a very general idea but i again will say i got up in a hurry and a rush to get all this DOWN before the big day. I made pretty damn good time on December! Even if that does mean i had to delay the bigwig stuff.....ahehehoho....i'll get to it soon, promprom.
