Coming back to life was not something They had originally thought was possible, while stuck in Limbo as a fragmented Soul.
Their child, Helel, had struck them down in a suicidal strike… And the very weapon he had used for striking such a blow ended up being the very same thing that brought Them back to life.
The Sephiroth Graal.
Helel was always the most creative of Their children, hence why he had managed to create the Devils and other forms of vile arcane arts that should not be mentioned or remembered.
Using his knowledge over Souls, he had found the wielder of the Sephiroth Graal and stole it from them.
Then employed the Principles of Death by sacrificing his very being to empower the explosion, thus bringing Them down in a way that They wouldn't be able to come back like other Gods do.
With all the Faith generated by Their Religion, coming back to life from death would be a matter of a century or two, with more added to go back to Their full strength.
But now, nearly six centuries went by. Six centuries of Their death being wrong, something that was not planned. Something against Their original plan to deal with the Trihexa.
But now, a lot more has gone against Their plan aside other than Their death.
The Dream and the Infinite clashed. The Dimensional Gap lay shattered, and pocket remnants from across the Multiverse now spill within the Underworld, growing worse with each passing year.
Their children lay broken and scarce in numbers, Their System crippled, and Humanity…
A long, deep sigh leaves Them. A sigh full of disappointment to the recent news.
Humanity was what They had put their hopes in for dealing with Trihexa.
The Race with the greatest potential out there, capable of reaching heights that could put even the most powerful Gods to shame, especially when armed with finely crafted Sacred Gears meant for slaying such powerful beings.
And yet… After the Great War, and during the recovery phase, the Supernatural World just decided to hide from the majority of the Human Race.
Now, billions of humans populated the Earth, and not even a tenth of that potential was being nurtured. Potential that could have gone in preparing for Trihexa, and further assisting in dealing with this Gate issue.
Sometimes, the foolishness of Their fellow Gods truly irks Them.
Still, Their gaze focus towards the distance, assisted by a milky-white radiance that illuminated that blinding, yet vile Soul brought to life by every Evil that was committed, and even thought off.
They allow themselves to relax once confirming that the Seal still stands. That the Beast still remains trapped at the Edge of the Universe, away from any interloper.
"You knew about it already." They do not accuse, but merely make an observation as Their Soul turns towards the one who assisted in healing what remained of Their Soul.
A handsome young man, former human yet turned into a Devil through a rather disgusting tool that attaches to the Soul like a leech. Truly, Helel's creations kept finding new ways test the flimsy mercy They kept granting them.
The black and white haired young man nods, withdrawing the three golden cups with a flick of his wrists, "A bit hard not to notice when you can gaze at Souls."
It wasn't the full truth, but not a lie either. They didn't mind, for everyone was allowed to have their secrets.
"I owe you a great debt, young man." They state softly after a few seconds of quiet, voice warm and thankful.
Scaith just gives Them a light smile and shakes his head, "While tempting, I did not go through such lengths with the assistance of Michael and the others for some favor."
Their Soul perks up, flooding the Throne of Heaven with brilliant light, much of Their focus split on repairing all the damage Their death caused.
Like the Sacred Gear System just giving Sacred Gears at random instead of studying the person, then giving them a Sacred Gear that fits them best.
Or the Throne of Heaven upholding the Heavenly Laws 'imposed' on the Angels.
Like, what was this about them being unable to procreate without excessive rituals that took entire hours? Passion and procreation weren't going to make them Fall!
Or like the loop-holes some Angels were using to go behind their brothers and sisters back to collude with some disgusting folk for some vile plans.
Oh, they weren't going to Fall just yet. They will pay them a personal visit, in due time.
"Then why, if I may ask?"
Scaith hums softly, his peculiar pupils flicking towards the glowing Throne of Heaven, gazing at it curiously despite the mere fact that doing so made his eyes sting and burn due to how sacred and Holy it was.
"To destroy the current status quo everyone is so stupidly trying to maintain." He reveals after a moment of thought, earning Their full attention. "Everyone is trying to make Gates appear as a non-issue, and I believe they will only truly open their eyes when a Heavenly Dragon Class Gate or worse opens in their backyard and devastates their land."
"The Grigori aren't doing much, with Azazel just studying Sacred Gears to replicate them. The Devils are trying to seek peace with the other Biblical Faction while ignoring the glares of all the others, and ignoring the instability within their Race."
"There are countless problems, and countless people just turning their heads away from them until said problems slap them in the face. It's pathetic."
They hum softly in consideration, "You don't seem the sort to care about such things."
Scaith nods without shame, "I don't. If they wish to let themselves be slaughtered, then they are free to do so… But I have my own ambitions and desires, and I'll be damned if I let the incompetence of some fools ruin that for me."
"Thus, that is where I come in."
The young man smiles. It is a pleasant, cunning smile, "They listen to those they fear. You could create Sacred Gears that housed beasts from other Mythologies, and they never raised a fuss about it."
A light, amused laughter leaves Them. It was a very delighted laugh. "Usually, I am the one placing others within my plans. For that to be the opposite this time around is quite… Refreshing."
Scaith shrugs, like smile on his face, "Plus, I can imagine you already know how to get the other Patheon's to cooperate peacefully."
That They did. Quite easily too, in fact. Just a promise to make it so that the Sacred Gears made through materials and beast that come from their specific Mythology have a much higher chance to appear within their land and people.
They had planned to make use of this offer after removing Helel off the board, so to allow the Devils to fester and remain as a useful pawn to unleash against Trihexa when the time was right, while also slowly strengthening the other Pantheons and keeping them indebted to Them.
"I still owe you a debt, young man." They state after a moment of quiet, earning a light sight from the handsome former human.
His mouth opens to likely refute Them once more, before he pauses, "Actually, there might be something you could assist me with…" Their Soul perks up at that, the radiant light flowing out of Their form dimming faintly so to not harm the young Reincarnated Devil further.
There was no greed in his eyes, which made Them pleasantly surprised. Few would resist the temptation of a favor from Them, knowing that they could ask for much in return.
"And what might that be?"
The three golden cups that are the Subspecies Sephiroth Graal appear from Scaith's chest once more, "I've been studying the Principles of Life through the Sephiroth Graal, and I've been using them to empower my Necromancy by creating the perfect corpses and creating Souls instead of enslaving already existing ones."
A Necromancer, huh? They pause for a moment at that, before a tinge of amusement flashes through Them. The Sephiroth Graal wasn't truly made for such a practice, but They didn't really make it with a task in mind.
It was merely Them fulfilling a request from Jesus of Nazareth, who believed that such a thing would be useful in the future. And of course They would have never denied such a simple request.
"But I've been… Struggling with the Principles of Death." Scaith keeps going, drawing Their attention back to him. His frown was quite cute, that They had to admit.
But They always found Humans oddly charming. Unlike most Gods, who can only show arrogance, indignation and anger.
"Ah, I understand the issue…" Their Soul floats away from the Throne and over the young man's shoulder. He had quite the beautiful eyes too. "The Principles of Life are about 'Creating', while the Principles of Death are about 'Undoing'."
Scaith raises a curious brow at that, "Undoing?"
"The Principles of Life and Death symbolize a Cycle." Their Soul circles around him, voice playful, "Can you guess what that is, exactly?"
Scaith's eyes narrow faintly, losing focus so to fall within his thoughts. They noticed the way his thumb starts rubbing against his index and middle finger once he does so. Circular anti-clockwise patterns, one each second. "Ain Soph Aur?"
They pause, faintly yet pleasantly surprised at the way the young man had swiftly grasped the true meaning behind their question.
They had expected an answer among the likes of 'The Cycle of Life and Death', not a direct shot at the Three Viels of Negative Existence. What a delightful surprise.
"Ain is 'Nothing', Ain Soph is… 'Limitlessness', and Ain Soph Aur is…" The young man pauses, as if remembering something, "Light. Of wisdom, of life, grace… No, just 'Light'."
A delighted hum flows out of Them. Talking with someone intelligent was always a wonderful experience. Them being a Human was a great bonus too.
"Ain Soph Aur is foundation. An empty foundation with just a Light guiding your path." Their voice is soft and warm as they guide Scaith's mind towards the right path, making his eyes widen in growing, beautiful and dangerously handsome realization, "It is Nothing. It is Limitless. It is Life."
The young man before Them lets out a slow, shaky exhale, "The Principles of Life are Ain Soph Aur going forward… The Principles of Death instead go backward."
"It is bringing everything back to its original state… Nothing."
...Truly, Humans had a dangerous charm. One that was fatal even for Them. Very, very fatal.
"Far easier to grasp than what you thought?" They question, light amusement tinging Their titter as Scaith slumps.
"I am a Necromancer, so when I hear Death, I think about decay and all that stuff." Ah yes, thwarted by his very own practice. It happened to Azazel too.
He Fell from Envy, instead of Lust, like he wanted others to believe. Envy of Their creations, and Envy towards Helel.
"What will you do with this knowledge now?"
The young man hums softly, crossing his arms in thought, "Probably make a Spell from it, but that requires thorough testing."
Now that had Their full attention. Tinkering was always Their most favorite pastime, after all-
A sudden prayer makes Them pause, for it comes from Michael of all people.
"Apologies, Father… I failed in holding her back."
...Oh dear.
Their Soul floats to the side, much to Scaith's confusion, the moment an ear-rending squeal of "Daddy!" shakes the higher layer of Heaven.
Luckily, They had dodged to the side quickly enough.
Thus, Scaith ended up being tackled by a golden meteorite faster than he could blink. At least his face landed between some very huge and soft things.
Alas, Gabriel recovers quickly enough, still hugging the shaken and purple Scaith to her chest, while turning a teary and puffed up pout towards Them.
Why did they decide to use the Beauty of Humans when making Their Angels again?
That pout had the power to kill Them all over again.

The Heavenly Dragon Class Gate was quite far away. The closest available area we had to it was the city that was currently being built at the edges of No Man's Land.
From there, it is… Quite far. Roughly the distance between London and Naples in South Italy, if not just a bit more.
Usually, moving a massive army over that distance would take a long time, but with the army of Dragons I'll soon create through the mountains of corpses gathered by the Angels during their clearing spree in No Man's Land, the trip will take a few hours at most.
Luckily, Raphael was able to gather that the Heavenly Dragon Class Gate doesn't have an enormous number of enemies. Besides the Titan, there are roughly a thousand other 'Angels' with it.
Not a small force, but considering that they are all around the Maou Class in levels of strength, it is more than enough to lay waste to a great deal of land if they ever start moving around like that colossal beast I saw fly overhead.
The good thing is that any losses won't matter, as I can just revive our fallen Devil Soldiers once the battle is over, and Big G can revive any Angels that fall in battle with ease. Especially once they are fully healed.
Thankfully enough, we'll have the help of the Norse Pantheon too, due to their good relationship with the Angels. Michael did also mention making sure Odin knows that Big G is back and alive now, thus likely making the support we receive even greater than before.
With Raphtorne buffing our side and debuffing the enemies, the battle will be massively in our favor. Mainly because we'll have Thor on our side, and he is among the strongest beings on the planet.
The Angels are no push-overs. In the series, they were always waved to the side due to how it all felt like Devil Propaganda, but there is a reason on why they didn't lose any of their higher ups during the Great War, while Devils lost dozens of Devil Houses.
We'll need to take out the Flame Angels quickly, while the Titan battles against Ddraig. I've made him way stronger than he was in life, plus gave him a far more powerful body, coupled with his Boost ability, I am sure Ddraig can keep the Titan occupied and give it one hell of a beating until we can start joining the fray.
I tilt my head and lean back as the door opens, and in walks Fleurdelys in all of her tall beauty, clad only in some dark blue lingerie.
A wide smile stretches across her breathtaking face as she strides towards the couch I am sitting on with a low sway of the hips, shutting the door behind her with a flick of her wrist.
I lean back as she claims my lap as her throne, her massive breasts swaying in front of my face, "Planning instead of spending time with me, my dear Scaith?" The horned beauty purrs, brushing my long hair behind my back and leaning into the hands that rise to grasp her lovely hips.
"I knew you'd come around." I chuckle out, reaching out to give her huge ass a nice and rough grope that earns me a lovely sharp intake of air and flush of her cheeks.
Fleur hums, wetting her lips with her tongue as she leans down, "Looks like I need to remind you of what you have, and is all yours." She whispers sultrily as her crotch grinds against my erection, sending a shudder up my spine.
Though no groan flows out of my lips, for Fleurdelys seals them shut with a kiss. One that doesn't last long, yet meant to show affection, "So, what plan do you have for me this time, my dear?"
I pull her close, rubbing a hand up and down her back as she shivers and leans into me with a relaxed and warm smile on her face, "Recruiting a group of Devil journalists so to record and live stream our fight against the Heavenly Dragon Class Gate."
This can bite us in the ass if we fail, but I doubt we will, for we have no other choice. We cannot risk them starting to move around, and we need the Soul of the Titan so to hopefully fully recover Big G.
"We'd be showing everything to everyone." Fleurdelys points out, though not in distaste.
I nod with a light smile, "Our alliance, our power… Even the fact that I have a Ddraig on my side."
It will make the Satans fully back off, and all the other Devils marvel out our strength… And when the time comes for when we open our city to the refugees and Low Class Devils, they will not hesitate to rush over.
After all, they'd rather live in a place where they are free, equal, and guarded by a literal Heavenly Dragon with an army of Undead… Or live as poor slaves under a government that does not care about them one bit.
"I love the way you think." Fleur purrs, her gaze seductive and lustful as she squirms on my lap, "The Rating Game was just the appetizer. This battle will truly rub it all in."
I nod, then grin, "And then we can enjoy a vacation for some time, because I think we deserve it." I'll take her and the others to a nice beach. Totally not because I want to see the ladies in swimsuits and bikinis.
Nuh-uh.
Fleur laughs softly, probably seeing through my thoughts just as the door opens. Changli peeks in, then blinks as her cheeks flush slightly at the sight, "Why does this keep happening…"
Did she perhaps walk in on Fleur showing Rias some love?
I just smile politely at the beautiful Phenex woman, "I've been told you haven't been resting properly, Changli."
"Geh!" She twitches, using the door as cover while avoiding eye-contact, "Lies, I assure you…" I've known her for little, and I can already tell that I'll likely have to create some form of Undead servant that will drag her to her bed when she works for too long.
"E-Either way!" The pink and white haired woman opens the door enough to show the two small boxes in her hands, "I've brought your shares of Dragon Body Pills. Zani is currently taking hers."
I blink at that, before smiling, "You're a treasure, Changli." The woman smiles happily, stepping into the room and showing that she was wearing a very form fitting white robe that hugged her lovely figure, "Any information on your garden?"
She nods, walking close and handing us a small box each, "I already have some people working on it, former servants from the Alchemy Sect that decided to follow me out."
"They already started planting the alchemy ingredients I require, and Rias has told me she got in contact with Seekvaira recently. They won't refuse the deal when it comes from her, and Lord Phenex promised to vouch in for me too if it is needed."
Having the Phenex House on our side is quite the boon for this. Once the Time Bubbles are set down all over Changli's soon to be garden, she'll likely be able to gather the first batch after just a few weeks.
That'll be a few thousand Dragon Body Pills, give or take. Two or three months, and our whole army will have had their share.
"Everything is proceeding along smoothly, that's good." This helps me relax and ignore what the Khaos Brigade is up to for a bit.
Fleur hums softly as she looks at the small box in her hands, "That is good. Scaith, my dear… We shall take a bath together, and test how much stronger your body has become. In bed."
Changli squeaks at Fleurdelys' serious words, while I just raise an amused brow, "Lucky me, I guess."
"I'll join too." I tilt my head to stare at the door, where a Zani clad in bathrobes was peeking in with her usual lazy face.
Fleur swiftly throws her a playful glare, "Nobody invited you!"
The lazy white-haired devil blinks very slowly, "I need my itch scratched." Poor Changli looks on the verge of fainting.
Still, what am I? A boy-toy? Can't say I hate it.
….
"You're quiet." Zani drawls out, her tail curled around my forearm, the tip flicking between my fingers lazily.
I hum as I feel her rest her head on my chest, with Fleurdelys having claimed my right arm and shoulder as hers.
They both feel so much stronger. Likely fifty-percent stronger than before I had them drink the Soul Juice to empower them.
It is quite the massive increase, which added up with our recent use of the Dragon Body Pills. It felt like bathing in lava, my body burning and my blood boiling as I was… Remade. Perfected, even.
Every cell of my body, down to the very bones and every drop of blood, now is over-saturated with my Devil Energy. Alchemy is truly terrifying, and Changli is even more so, for she managed to replicate the peculiar body of Dragons and grant it to others.
I could do the same with the Sephiroth Graal now, once I study my new changes, but I'd rather not steal away Changli's whole thing. It'll feel idiotic, and rude.
Activating my Devil Energy now takes no time, and I basically radiate it outward constantly. The sheer pressure Zani and Fleurdelys release is suffocating, but they already managed to get it under control.
My reserves haven't really grown, it is just that using them has become laughably easy, and they now enormously empower my body. It doesn't really do much for me, but for physical fighters like Zani? This is an enormous boon.
"Just… Thinking." I muse aloud, just staring blankly at the ceiling as I parse through my thoughts, my mind as active as always.
So much to do, so much I want to test, to create… Having such powers within my grasp is dangerously addictive.
And I am close to achieving my next Class Advancement. Initially, I thought of approaching other Gods of Death so to gain their favor and blessing one way or the other.
Hades was top of the list for obvious reasons, with Freya being another one. There are others like Yama, or even Ereshkigal, but not many of these choice seem to match well with me, or with where I want my capabilities to go.
But… What if I went to Them for the blessing?
Every Pantheon has a God of Death or several, with countless other Gods taking up other Domains and whatnot so to expand their range.
Yet, Big G is the only God of their Pantheon, and has basically several different Religions based on Them. Judaism, Christianity and Islam – Big G is the sole God of each of these, thus They are effectively the God of Life and Death of said Religion.
A God of each Domain, even.
I might be reaching, and just theorizing, but it is worth a shot. A blessing from such a powerful being would do me incredibly well, and I want the best of the best if I want to advance to my next Class, instead of advancing through a second or third choice.
"Like what?" Zani asks, bringing me out of my thoughts once more, her fingers lazily going up and down my bare chest.
"How to empower the group further." I drawl out, leaning my head into the pillow as I pull her and Fleurdelys closer, earning me a faint pleased hum from both naked beauties. "I was thinking of taking inspiration from Sacred Gears. Create something powerful that suits each of you."
I tilt my head towards Fleur, who turns so to fully face me, my words having earned her full interest, "Your mother doesn't wish to be revived, right?"
The horned beauty blinks, then slowly nods. I had thought as much when even after their talk and even after I got the piece of the Holy Grail, Fleurdelys never asked me to bring the Original Leviathan back to life. "If she is willing, I could likely turn her into a weapon. A greatsword that enormously empowers your Clan Trait."
I've seen that the large blade of water she always creates is her favored weapon, so making one out of the Soul of her mother. A weapon forged from corpses, attached to Fleurdelys' Soul akin to a Sacred Gear, and that matches her power.
Fleur's eyes narrow, her cheeks faintly flushed, "You make it very hard to not adore you, my dear Scaith."
I shrug and chuckle, always eager to impress.
"Finding something that matches the Princess is easy, clearly." Zani drawls out, fighting back against a yawn that makes her quite adorable to look at, "But my power is a bit more… Unique."
I sniff at that, "I'll just yoink the soul of the Agares Ancestor and fashion something for you out of it."
Zani pauses, then sighs deeply as she moves and climbs on top of my lap. "I'm riding you again."
I blink while Fleurdelys giggles softly.
How do I always get myself in these situations without even trying?

"Guys, come on! It's about to start!" Rias whines childishly, kicking her legs and waving her arms wildly as the large TV in the club room was focused on a News Channel.
Akeno laughed softly as she walked closer, placing another tray of freshly prepared snacks and drinks in front of the couch, "Then tell Koneko to stop stealing all the snacks before we get to sit down."
Valerie gasps from her spot behind the couch, where she was trying to drag Gasper away from the game on his phone and focus on spending time on the group, "Koneko is stealing?!"
"No the fuck I ain't." Came the swift, coarse reply from the small Nekomata, whose most recent attempt at stealing a cookie was thwarted by a zap of lightning on her hand.
"Next time, it'll be Holy Lightning." Akeno threatens with a vicious smile, receiving a hateful glare in turn from Koneko, who swings a fist cloaked in bright silver Touki at the Half-Fallen woman.
Yuuto walks by with a sigh, placing down freshly cleaned glass cups and a warm tea-kettle beside the cookies, "Less fighting, more hurrying, before the President whines more." Rias pouts, but doesn't protest further aside from a huff and cross of her arms, "Will Sona be joining us?"
The Gremory Heiress pauses, then shrugs, "I sent her a message, but she left me on read. She is still moping after her meeting with Scaith." One where she had totally heard everything and just acted like she didn't, because honestly Sona kind-of deserved to be taken off her high throne.
Though Rias highly doubts it did anything productive for Sona. Nearly two decades of deep-rooted arrogance don't just vanish like that, especially when she is protected by Serafall's existence.
Leaning back against her seat, Rias snorts softly when Valerie sits besides her, then pulls a whining and flushed Gasper on her lap, with the female Damphir expertly hiding a lecherous smile behind a warm one.
Gasper just slumped in place, wearing a cute short skirt and tank top, with stockings hugging his legs.
Rias and Valerie shared a nod and hidden thumbs up. The female Damphir clearly knows what she wants, and Rias fully supported that, because it was unbelievably cute. And hot.
She even made a bet with Fleurdelys on how long it takes before Gasper snaps and gives Valerie exactly what she wants.
"And now, we move onto the next, much awaited segment!" The woman on the TV and sitting in the studio – Rias remembers her as the one who interviewed Fleurdelys some time ago – smiles widely at the camera, excitement visible on her face and in her eyes. "Just recently, our News Station was approached by the one and only Fleurdelys Leviathan with an offer we could not refuse!"
"She invited us to personally live-stream the first ever expedition within the depths of No Man's Land!"
Rias breathes in and rubs her hands together, leaning forward to watch everything without even blinking once.
"So we won't hold you here! Let us move to our squad on the ground! Over to you, Riley!"
The camera instantly switches to a cute, pale haired Devil with dimples on her cheeks and an excited childish smile on her face. One hand was held against her ears, while the other held a microphone near her lips.
Behind her, Rias could already see Fleurdelys' mansion, and the enormous army gathered around it.
So distracted Rias was, that she missed the greeting from the journalist in the view of the camera, "-and as you can see behind us, the preparations have just been completed. The Peerage and the army of ten-thousand is all gathered up."
The journalist moves out of the way, allowing the cameraman to show off the whole army… Which strangely lacked any Undead, much to Rias confusion.
"Ah, Lady Fleurdelys!" The journalist turns as the tall, horned Leviathan scion floats over, giving one of those smiles that makes the Gremory Heiress feel things, "Will you finally tell us what Class of Gate you will be taking on?!"
Fleurdelys laughs softly, and beckons the journalist and cameraman to follow after her, "That would ruin the surprise, though." The ashen-haired woman drawls out, "Now… Will your stream face problem while undergoing a swift mass teleportation?"
The cute journalist pauses, before shaking her head, "Not at all, ma'am!"
Nodding, the Leviathan moves, her magic visibly flooding into the earth below her feet as her army gathers around.
A massive teleportation Array flares to life, before flashing. The TV screen goes a blinding white for a good few seconds before it recovers, with the cameraman swinging around, taking in the surrounding wasteland.
A land devoid of life, visibly torn apart, and with the ground seemingly scorched red, left arid and dry. Even the sky itself was a deep, ugly orange-red that did not bode well.
"Welcome to No Man's Land." Fleurdelys suddenly announces, stunning the journalist and cameraman. "We are currently several hundred kilometers deep within it, in fact. My Queen and our allies have already cleared the surroundings."
The journalist gulps, before turning to face the camera, "A-As you have just heard, we are currently in No Man's Land! T-The aura here is… It's suffocating, and barbaric, and my goosebumps refuse to fade away!"
That's when a roar was heard. Then another. Then hundreds upon hundreds more.
The camera shoots towards the sky, now blanketed by thousands upon thousands of colossal black Dragons. The journalist visibly paled, but the army moved as the Dragons started landing, with roughly ten soldiers mounting a Dragon each.
Among them, a woman in a black kimono suddenly flashes with brilliant light, turning into a colossal yet beautiful black dragon herself, revealing herself to be a Bune Devil with a mastered Clan Trait.
The woman-turned-Dragon flew into the skies, her roar making the many Dragons bow and submit to her call and orders.
"...Those were all made by Scaith, weren't they?" Yuuto whispers as the camera moves from Dragon to Dragon, each one being different, some being made for speed, some for defense, other for attack.
The very auras they radiated created a dense, greenish-black fog around them, which reminded Rias of Scaith's Necrotic Magic. Just on a far greater scale and density.
Among them, a series of radiant white and golden Dragons descended in full view, and Rias gasped when she saw the Angels riding them.
"Angels…?" The journalist whispers softly, "A-And not just any Angels! T-The Greath Seraphs?! The Archangel Michael himself!?"
Michael descends from the massive golden Dragon, clearly made to be a Holy being like them, a kind and warm smile on his face as he approaches Fleurdelys, who returns the smile with one of her own, "Thank you for setting up the teleportation array. It saved many hours of travel."
The Archangel bows his head, his warm smile radiant and handsome, "It was the best way to gather everyone quickly." Rias holds back a snort when Gabriel happily waves towards the cameraman from behind Michael, and said cameraman visibly struggled to not focus the camera on the radiant woman's enormous chest, "The Norse are already here too. We are all ready."
As if on cue, the loud voice of an old man suddenly rang out, "Oh!? Is this being live streamed across the Underworld?!" The camera turns to a thin, blue and white robed old man with a long beard, holding a walking stick and wearing a monocle over his left eye, "Guess it's time to show off for all the bad bitches out there!"
The old man, clearly being Odin the Allfather, chief God of the Norse Pantheon, who laughs boisterously at his own words while approaching with a wide swagger.
Behind him, a large titan of a man holding with a fat one-handed hammer strapped to his waists grunts, ruffling his rust-colored beard and hair, "Old man, behave."
Thor scolds aloud, though he himself looked pissed off. Probably because he looked sober. Rias went all-in on that bet.
Odin blinks his one good eye before turning to his son, "I'm sober, aren't I?" The old man shrugs, "Can't have the babes see me drunk and fighting naked, else they'd be staring at my fat dick instead of the battle-"
The camera turns away, making Odin's voice grow muffled and distant, and turns to Michael, whose smile was visibly shaky. Even his eyebrows were twitching.
Fleurdelys instead looked thoroughly amused at the display, "Everything is ready, then?"
Michael nods, instantly latching onto that escape, "All armies, all Undead, and the area is clear." Fleurdelys nods, gaze serious yet pleased.
"Then let us move. Scaith shall give us the signal to attack." Moving away, she turns her head to regard the journalist and the cameraman following her around, "I believe it is time I tell you the Class of Gate we are taking on, no?"
"It is very simple." Fleurdelys' smile grows wide. Dangerous, yet cold and sexy, "It's a Heavenly Dragon Class Gate."
Rias could tell that this was the moment that the whole Underworld went quiet, as she herself feels ice in her veins despite having already been told about this beforehand.
"Today, we'll be the first ones to clear such a terrifying Gate." Up above, the massive fat form of Rhapthorne comes into view while waving his stuff.
A flash of green and orange light soaks every being in view. From Dragons, to soldiers, to Angels and Norse Gods, massively empowering all of their strength and defense as they rode into the skies upon the backs of thousands upon thousands of Dragons.
The cameraman turns, showing the pale journalist staring blankly into the air at the reveal of what Gate they'll soon be bearing witness to, before moving to show the armies of Angels, Dragons, Devils and Norse all flying in the same direction.
It only takes them a few minutes to reach the target, and Rias' mouth goes dry at the sight. The air was being twisted and warped by literal power and immense heat.
A colossal, giant figure of a robed angel-like being stood tall, towering over a hundred meters in height and wielding a colossal blade of scorching white-hot flames.
Its veiled face instantly turned towards the incoming army, the beams of light stretching from its back vibrating, almost like a signal that warns the other much smaller angel-like beings.
Their flaming weapons stood at the ready, their veils glowing and their glowing beam-like wings primed like spears ready to pierce their targets.
Yet the army kept advancing, and advancing- Until the Angel Titan suddenly snaps his gaze skyward.
And that's when the clouds were displaced by a blast of force, revealing a nine-headed Dragon flying high above the soon-to-be battlefield.
"That's Scaith…" Rias whispers as the camera zooms in and focuses on him, catching the moment the three Sephiroth Graals flow out of his chest.
The Angel Titan tenses, sword rising up, but a sudden wave of immense power unleashed by Scaith makes the powerful being freeze.
Brilliant platinum-gold light washes out of Scaith in tidal waves, his Devil Wings stretching out from his back… But just from his left side.
On his right side, fourteen radiant and pure white Angel wings stretched forth for countless meters.
"Upon this day…"
His voice reverberates forth, shaking the very skies as a dazzling and gargantuan parhelion bursts into existence behind his head, making him appear regal and holy.
"I announce…"
His voice was superimposed by a majestic and divine voice brimming with purity and warmth.
"Mine rebirth."
The three golden cups shoot into the skies, the milky-white radiance pouring out of them suddenly turning into black.
The golden cups rise high into the Heavens, becoming three colossal black Suns that rumble like quiet yet horrid heralds of doom.
All sound vanished. There was no tremor, no shock-wave. No nothing.
Rias tried to speak, but found that whatever Spell was being unleashed erased sound itself even across the TV screen.
The Angel Titan moved, beam-like wings tensing and shooting skyward as his form instantly rose towards Scaith.
But it was too late, as the Reincarnated Devil clad in dazzling light spoke once more.
"NIHIL."
The cups tilt, and the black Suns flow down like mountain-sized waterfalls of light-devouring darkness.
The Titan Angel smashes into that darkness face first, and his form strangely gives in instantly, getting smashed into the earth as that pillar of black devours the battlefield, bringing down all the other Flame Angels.
Everything touched by that abyssal darkness is turned into nothing, matching the name of the Spell as it expands, and expands, before fading away in an instant.
And that's when sound returned with a rumble, a giant circular hole having been dug into the earth, and showing all of the Angels.
They were all still alive, but a strange darkness clung to their body, seemingly siphoning away their energy, causing them to stumble and struggle to stand up. Their beam like wings were gone, making them unable to fly, with only the Flame Titan still having some left.
Smashing a fist in the earth, the Titan stands with ease, seemingly not bothered by whatever effect the Spell that was unleashed had left upon his form.
His veiled face instead snaps towards a pale Scaith, the radiance around him having long since disappeared.
Rising tall, the Titan moved to shoot back towards Scaith once more, making Rias tense and grit her teeth- Only for a meteorite to smash down right before the Titan, bringing the monster to a halt.
"W-What?" The journalist suddenly recovers her voice, face pale and drenched in sweat, "W-What is going now?!"
Fleurdelys' chuckle was caught by the camera, "Oh, just our trump card…" The dust cloud was torn apart by a pair of ruby-red wings gleaming with a dazzling metal shine. "We can't possibly fight a being stronger than a Heavenly Dragon…"
"So my dear Queen decided to resurrect the Red Dragon Emperor himself, and see how he holds up."
A brilliant red Dragon stood tall, majestic wings spread wide behind him. His jaws were bared, spread into a wide ecstatic grin, the bright emerald gem on his chest pulsing with light and power.
"So you are the gnat that is supposedly stronger than me, huh?" The Red Dragon Emperor cranes his neck, staring down at the Titan before him, their immense aura clashing and causing space to warp and twist, while the earth visibly cracked and split apart, a ravine being carved into the land below without them even doing anything.
"Try and not disappoint me, eh?" Ddraig challenges, and the Titan instantly moves.
The speed of the sword swing was so fast that the camera failed to even register it. Only it was able to catch was cataclysmic shock-wave that the air itself flee.
Ddraig's grin turns feral, one of his claws holding the flaming blade with ease, his scales not even being tickled by the immense heat. The Titan wasn't relented though, and swiftly swung his free arm in a wide haymaker.
Ddraig swats the arm to the side with his tail, then rumbles out a boisterous laugh as his head leans back, before headbutting the Titan with enough force to make the ravine between them tear open even further.
And that's when the screen suddenly fizzles out, making Rias release an indignant squawk, "What?! Why did the connections suddenly get cut!?"
Her Peerage frowns, and Akeno takes out her phone, "My phone doesn't have connection either…" She mumbles aloud, her frown deepening. "Something is disrupting the signal."
The sky outside suddenly darkness, and Rias turns a heavy scowl its way, "Guess we now know why…" She huffs out, watching as dozens of figures appear in the sky, black feathery wings stretched wide behind them.
Yuuto hums, finishing his tea while blinking calmly, "Think this was done on purpose?" He asks aloud, feeling just a bit of pity when he sees Gasper whine at the sight of so many Fallen Angels outside.
"The whole Underworld is focused on Fleurdelys' live stream, so it very likely is." Akeno sighs out, going to stand while smoothing out her skirt.
That's when the door to the club room is smashed open, and in walks Sona with her whole Peerage, "Rias! We are under atta- Where's Rias!?" The bespectacled Sitri Heiress shouts, eyes wide and panicked beneath her glasses.
Valirie blinks, then waves towards the window that is no longer there, "She left a bit ago to handle with the rude people who interrupted the live stream." Her gaze then turns towards the erased window, "She could have at least opened it, now there's a bit of a draft…"
Sona feels close to having an aneurysm, "Is she stupid!? We should regroup and form a plan of attack, not charge blindly into the fray!" She shrieks, now completely out of breath… And only feels the veins over her temple throb painfully when Rias' Peerage just doesn't react.
Koneko pauses just as she was about to grab another cookie, before turning a sharp gaze towards Sona, "You may want to brace yourself." She warns, causing the Sitri Heiress to frown behind her glasses.
Her mouth opens to question the Nekomata- Only for her knees to smash into the floor when dense and heavy aura smashes down on her shoulders. A very, very familiar aura. "I-Is that… R-Rias?!"
How was her rival so strong?! How did she get so far ahead in so little time!? What had happened!?
Akeno sighs, holding on cheek with her head, "Shame, I wanted to tear some of those filthy Fallen apart myself… But Rias was trained by Fleurdelys, and she is even more merciless than Zani."
Up above, Rias stretched her ten Devil Wings with a huff and heavy frown on her face, her Power of Destruction irradiating the air around her with a dense crimson gleam.
Her gaze, glowing with her Clan Trait, flicked across the many Fallen Angels before her, "Bring out your leader. Don't waste more of my very, very precious time." She was so eager to watch Ddraig's battle, damn it!
A loud, arrogant laugh reached her ears as the Fallen Angels before her moved to the side to reveal a tall and pale man with long ears, long black hair and a black robe. The stereotypical Fallen Angel edgy get-up, basically.
Ten black wings stretched out from his back, sharp black feathers falling down behind him with his approach, "Quite arrogant to come face us by yourself, Rias Gremory." The pale, corpse-like man sneers in disgust, "Oh well, you simply hastened your death-"
His head suddenly tilts to the side, dodging a small beam of blackish-red light that explodes behind him in a four-pointed star that erases all Fallen Angels within its blast.
Once it fades, the air roars, filling in the vacuum created by that massive explosion of Power of Destruction.
A low hiss leaves Kokabiel's mouth, his hand reaching up to feel that half of his left ear was completely erased by that beam, cold sweat pouring down his back. "You…"
Rias huffs, tossing her hair behind her back as her Power of Destruction flows out of her like a dam having been opened. Yet it doesn't rush out wildly, but condenses around her in a beautiful, long blackish-red dress that hugs her curvaceous figure.
"Don't worry." She grins coldly, showing her pearly-white teeth, "I'll make this quick, so I can go back to watching the live stream."
Kokabiel felt like he bit more than he could chew.
And soon, he won't even have the teeth to do exactly that.
~XXX~
"It's over… There's no way we can control them now that they have a Heavenly Dragon on their side."
Serafall slumps in defeat, her eyes hollowly staring at the large TV the Satans had moved into their usual meeting room to watch the live stream, which was deemed very important.
And now, they all watched as Ddraig revealed himself. A Heavenly Dragon supposedly sealed within the Boosted Gear, now out and about once more.
And all done by the Queen of Fleurdelys, the one that was Resurrected through a Mutated Queen Piece.
"A Sephiroth Graal Subspecies…" Ajuka whispers, his eyes sparkling with interest, completely ignoring the Heavenly Dragon on the screen. "He likely didn't stop at just the Red Dragon Emperor."
Sirzechs raises a brow at his best friend and fellow Satan, "What do you mean?"
Ajuka leans forward, hands cupped before his face, "The words spoken before the Spell… They were likely from the Biblical God. He announced his Rebirth, through the assistance of Scaith."
Serafall and Sirzechs take in a sharp intake of air, "Is he stupid?! Why would he help the Angels get the Big Guy back?!" Serafall questions, eyes wide in shock and horror, "Won't He just finish off the job!?"
Their whole efforts for peace could only work because the Angels were far too weak to keep going. They likely numbered less than the hundred-thousand, and their numbers keep falling over the years due to more Angels sinning and becoming Fallen.
To set up peace talks, they had to tug on their desperation for having such low numbers, and they planned to seal the deal with Ajuka assisting them in creating a form of Evil Pieces that turned Humans into Angels instead… But now…
Now all of that would go down the drain with their Creator back in the fray, creating Angels once more. The already shaky levels of power between the Three Biblical Faction would soon shift in favor of the Angels.
...Unless they managed to pull Fleurdelys, and that terrifying Queen on their side.
"If He wanted to, he would have already done so during the Great War." Ajuka points out, "There are few records of His appearances during the Great War. Michael was always the one battling the Morningstar, while Gabriel and the other Great Seraphs handled the Old Satans."
"But their Creator? He rarely acted, and when He did, it always ended with one or two Devil Houses going extinct."
A shudder goes down Serafall's spine at that. "So what? He's gonna spare us?"
Ajuka shrugs, "As long as He deems us useful, I guess." Useful… Serafall instantly hated having the existence of her whole Race suddenly in the hands of another, far too powerful being.
Not that they weren't clinging to survival by the skin of their teeth so far, with how many Pantheons want to tear them to shreds and divide the spoil among themselves.
Their attention is dragged back to the TV as Ddraig launches himself at the Titan, enormous claw grasping the skull of that colossal Angelic Being before smashing him into the earth. And with a flap of wings, they were gone, shooting high into the skies.
"Now! Kill all of those monsters as swiftly as you can!" A roar rang out among the army, and they all soon swarmed towards the fallen Angelic Beings unable to fly.
Yet they could still shoot their magic, sending forth colossal waves of flames, and even fighting like the Angels they know. By creating weapons made of scorching flames before hurling them at the incoming army.
Thor was the first to reach the fray, small hammer rumbling with blinding lightning and smashing into a flaming shield conjured by one of the bigger Angelic Beings.
The blow smashed the monster deep into the earth, but it soon surged back out, looking no worse from wear despite taking such a powerful blow.
As one, the army of Dragons started bombarding the battlefield, vile Necrotic Magic raining forth like an orbital bombardment that irradiated the land with that foul magic.
Serafall's eyes narrowed as she stared at the chaotic battle recorded from afar, watching as the more those Angelic Beings fought back… The faster they grew weaker, and the more their very bodies started being eroded. "What did that Spell do…?"
Ajuka didn't answer quickly, but his eyes analyzed everything calmly and with hungry interest, "Scaith likely weaponized the Principles of Death… The monsters, they… They are slowly being erased."
Sirzechs leans forward, his own gaze narrowed, "It looks like their very energies are fading. It's like… A curse?"
His friend nods, "They are resisting so long because they are all likely Maou Class and a bit above, else they would have started dying much faster."
"Lasting for as long as they are doing is testament to how powerful they are."
Sirzechs breathes in, cupping his face with one hand, "Is there a way to combat this Curse?"
Ajuka's answer was instantaneous, and made their stomachs sink.
"Don't get hit."
Gulping, Serafall focuses on the battle. The numerical advantage meant little when all those Angelic Beings were around the Maou Class.
If they were capable of flying, there would have been far more casualties. Still, dozens of Dragons fell from the skies each minute despite the giant constantly healing the army.
No healing can undo instant-death… Unless it was Scaith, as she watched his Resurrect the fallen through using the destroyed bodies of the Dragons he made.
All with just a wave of his hand.
The camera momentarily focused on the skies, where nothing could be seen other than devastating shock-waves distorting space, and immense waves of heat visibly raining down like meteorites.
Michael didn't join the fray, and instead kept an eye on Ddraig's battle with the Titan, moving only to make so that the after-effects of said battle didn't displace the battlefield below.
Still… The battle didn't last long. The moment the giant Sorcerer enormously weakened the Angelic Beings, they all started dying and being erased faster than before.
Thor started mowing through the bigger one, never needing more than three blows to handle one, especially since he wasn't bothering with holding back.
Fleurdelys' knight was pretty much the same, as she worked in tandem with that Bune Devil in her Dragon Form to tear through the smaller Angels.
"T-They are winning! I can't believe what I am seeing right now!" The journalist suddenly exclaims, and Serafall finds herself wincing. That was a jinx, wasn't it?
The skies exploded as if on cue, a burning Sun rumbling up above and falling down. It smashed into the earth far ahead of the battlefield, unleashing a blinding flash and a shock-wave that made the slaughter come to a momentary halt.
Standing tall within the rising mushroom cloud… Was the Angel Titan, bleeding and wounded, but not badly so.
His free hand clutched the throat of a downed and heavily wounded Ddraid pressed down against the earth, while the flaming blade was lodged within his right shoulder.
Serafall hisses at the sight, "Even the Red Dragon Emperor was nothing to that thing…?"
It was a being from a Heavenly Dragon Class Gate, thus it was one whole class stronger than that. But few could even wrap their heads around that level of power.
The Titan had just scratches on his body, while Ddraig had deep gashes all over. The difference in wounds showed the difference in strength.
And yet… Even as the camera zoomed in on the fallen Dragon… He never stopped smiling.
"Uh-oh…" The camera snapped to Scaith, who had flown back to stay on the same Dragon the journalist and cameraman were. "We might need to retreat back. Just a bit."
The journalist pauses, her horror and fear forgotten for the moment, "W-What do you mean, Sir Scaith?" The black and white haired Reincarnated Devil turned towards the woman and looked at her as if she was dumb.
"Ddraig hasn't used Boost even once."
And then, laughter.
Loud, sky-shaking laughter. Coming from Ddraig.
Whose free claw instantly reached up, grasping the veiled head of the Titan- Before smashing him skull first into the earth, flipping their position around with laughable ease, "You think that's all I fuckin' got?!"
The Dragon roars, laughing happily, like an excited child who got what he wanted for Christmas. "Oh, how I longed for a real fight, instead of being a spectator!"
"Scaith! I owe you a life debt, my friend!" The Red Dragon Emperor declares, feral grin on his face, "And thank you for this wonderful punching bag!"
The green gem on the Dragon's chest lights up, and the Satans watch with bated breath at the power that was about to be unleashed.
"BOOST!"
It was akin to a nuclear bomb going off, just on a far more massive scale.
A gargantuan dome of emerald light expanded forth like a tsunami, tearing the land asunder and changing the very color of the skies above into that same green hue.
The wave of energy displaced the battlefield and sent countless flying Dragons reeling back, the emerald light so blinding none could see Ddraig anymore.
Until he hurled the Titan into view like a wet rag, before proceeding to tackle the monster into the earth, lift him up, then smashing back down.
Serafall blinks, then gapes at the sight. It was like watching a bar brawl between drunkards, with Ddraig delivering horrifying liver and head punches while laughing happily!
...Now she understands why the Biblical Factions had to get together to kill the two Heavenly Dragons.
~XXX~
He just has to show off, doesn't he?
'At least he is being useful.' God – yes, I can think that without getting a headache – drawls out in my head.
They decided to hop on along so to assist me in making my new Spell a lot stronger than it would have normally been. And to also show off.
That whole speech before I used my Spell? Totally Their idea.
'I just wanted to make Azazel panic. A lot.' Spiteful, ain't ya? 'I have Samael sealed in a place where every passing moment is pure torture even for the strongest God. You tell me.'
Stupid question. Got it.
To be fair, Samael deserved it.
I turn my gaze to the battlefield, where just two-hundred Angelic Beings are now left, and their numbers are going down faster and faster thanks to our numerical advantage and the curse I inflicted on them.
The more a battle lasts, the worse it gets for them. And with Rhapthorne having debuffed them, they aren't Maou Class anymore, though it seems that the stronger they are, the weaker the debuff effects are.
The Titan, for example, was unaffected by the debuff. This is good to know for later on against similar beings, so that we don't have our hopes up and create a strategy around weakening them.
Still… My Curse is carrying quite hard, I gotta admit.
[Nihil]
An eternal curse that can only be dispelled through the Principles of Life.
Through the Principles of Death, a vile Curse is created, which slowly unmakes the targets hit. If they have Mana – or their Race equivalent of energy – within their body, that should take the brunt of the curse.
Once out of Mana, the curse targets the body, slowly undoing it.
The fiercer the struggles, the more effective the Curse is.
Weakened and afflicted with this curse, the monsters have become far easier to deal with. We've still taken massive losses, but nothing I can't fix with the Sephiroth Graal and with enough energy.
Our soldiers are a bit insane because of that. The fuck you mean 'Let's dive bomb that monster with our Dragon and blow ourselves up with it'!?
The amount of times this happened is maddening. Being able to die with the reassurance of coming back has made them nuts.
'...Some of my Angels have done that too.' A massive explosion of Holy Light swallows a part of the battlefield down below, taking out ten whole monsters in one go together with one of my Holy Dragons. 'And there go some more… I am going to have words with them.'
Even the Norse are doing it! Their Einherjar are fighting while drunk, and dying in droves, but they'll just appear back in Valhalla without problem. They'll just take a while to regain their strength.
"How long do you think Ddraig can last?" Michael suddenly asks, and I hum softly, for I know the real meaning of his words.
The Boosted Gear is different from how the ability itself works with Ddraig. The Boosted Gear allows one to 'Double' – not really – their physical might every ten seconds. With the Balance Breaker and Juggernaut Drive, the Boosts can happen multiple times in a row and give greater strength.
But with Ddraig? In life, he could at most Boost himself two or three times, if he pushed it. Because his Boost really doubles his strength the first time.
"I've made him a lot stronger, with a far tougher body… So he can likely hold four Boosts at maximum. Five, if he pushes it." Though each Boost just adds his original strength above his current one.
So the first boost is actually a doubling in power, the next ones aren't.
And that's without mentioning the Outrage power Dragons have. If Ddraig pulls that out too, he might be able to defeat the Titan by himself.
But it might not be possible, as he is already starting to slow down.
Another nuclear-like Boost tears the wastelands in the distance, the Titan now missing a whole arm and being severely wounded, while Ddraig has lost a limb and a good portion of his flesh all over his body.
Having been sealed for so long has made him rusty, though it's not really a problem. We have plenty of powerful fighters with us, so the moment he needs us to step in, we will.
I raise one of my Graal, looking at all the massively powerful Souls I just gathered. I can use these to make some powerful gear for the girls, or I'll just think of something else.
I turn back towards Ddraig, whose body was leaking with radiant emerald light, showing that he had reached his Boost limit. I'll have to find some monsters with powerful regeneration abilities so to make him even more horrifying to deal with.
...He's still fucking up the Titan, though. Never thought I'd see a Dragon german suplex an Angel.
'I vaguely remember Ddraig once using another Dragon as a weapon against Albion during one of their fights.' What kind of Dragon did I just bring back to life?
"Once Ddraig gives us the signal, we just need to pin the Titan down long enough to help Ddraig charge up his Penetrate." I tell Michael just as the battle below finally ends. A great many losses and a lot of Dragons lost, but nothing that can't be fixed.
Now, we have Fleurdelys, Thor, Gabriel and Michael ready to unleash all of their power at a moment's notice to pin down the monster. We can't afford a fully honorable fight, so putting our hopes on Penetrate is our best bet.
A power that ignores all defenses is a godsend right now.
I could have all of my Dragons unleash their full power and Necrotic Flames, but I'd rather not risk them doing nothing and just create a hazard for my allies.
'Despite its mind having gone feral, the Titan is still battling against Ddraig with strategy and cunning.' God muses in my head, and I have to agree with their analysis.
The best way to fight Ddraig – aside from not fighting him – is a battle of attrition. His body gives in due to the immense stress put on by his technique, and the Titan is stalling for as long as he can.
Not that it matters now.
Ddraig turns, feral smile on his face, and swings his nearly limp and destroyed left claw with all the force he had available, smashing it into the side of the Titan's skull.
The impact is rattling, displacing the air for miles, and it held so much force that Ddraig's whole arm just explodes in a shower of blood and gore.
But it did its job, lifting the Titan off its feet and hurling the monster straight towards us. That's the opening we needed.
Gabriel instantly capitalized on it, having flow high in the sky and readied her horn. Taking a deep breath, she blows into it, releasing a tremendous sound-wave that smashes down like a gigantic hammer, swallowing the Titan whole and ramming the monster deep into the earth.
The moment the sound-wave vanished is the moment Thor moved in, roaring like a madmen and blasting down into the pit created by Gabriel's attack.
A second later, a deafening thunderclap and blinding flash erupted, making me wince.
Sadly, Thor gets flung out of the pit like a rag-doll the very next second, his body shooting high into the skies while the Titan swiftly rises out of the hole he was smashed into.
The monster is only halfway out of the hole before he is forced to flip around, swinging his scorching giant blade to meet Fleurdelys' blow. A blade of roaring water and winds bigger than the Titan himself clashes against his sword, with neither getting the upper-hand.
But I glance up, and watch as Thor smashes back down with even greater force and momentum, hammering his divine weapon into the wrist of the monster and causing it to snap with a loud and sickening crack.
The monster makes no noise, his giant blade falling from his grasp as his hand hangs limply- Yet he still swings his whole arm with such force to create a blast of air.
Thor and Fleurdelys are pushed back, yet that opening from that attack is when Michael himself attacks. A mountain-sized spear of dazzling light smashes into the monster's chest in the blink of an eye, having been created and throw with such effortless ease that it scared me quite a bit.
The explosion wasn't deafening, but it also wasn't truly meant to harm the monster. Only make it stagger and buy Fleurdelys time to transform into her Sea Serpent of the End.
The haunting cry of a gigantic Narwhal echoes through the battlefield, the long serpentine form of Fleurdelys swiftly wrapping and binding the Titan's body and crippled arm.
I do feel a bit useless right now, but I don't have the power to make my Curse stronger against such beings. So I can only watch as the monster struggles uselessly, having been weakened enough to be nearly harmless, but still being powerful enough that killing him will be a massive chore.
Luckily, we have Ddraig. Body still broken and collapsing with each passing moment, the Red Dragon Emperor rejoins the battle, smashing into the Titan and freeing up Fleurdelys.
His lone claw digs into the Titan's good shoulder, pinning the monster down on the earth with effortless ease. "Stand proud, you are strong."
Did Ddraig just-!?
I gape and God groans aloud in my head as the Red Dragon Emperor releases all of his stored up energy through a blinding beam of energy from his jaws, which pierces through the Titan's skull and deep into the layers of the Underworld with ease.
My Sephiroth Graal flashes, and that powerful Sun-like Soul is swiftly captured and stored within it. I give Michael a grin and thumbs up, and he pumps his fist in delight.
"Fuck yeah!" Ddraig roars, throwing his one good claw high in the air as he… Dances on the body of the Titan without shame, "Get fucked, idiot! I'm the best! The coolest! The strongest!"
God groans, and Ddraig turns towards us as if on cue. Then he is flying right in front of the Undead Dragon I was on. "Is this recording?!" He demands, one giant eye staring down at the now whimpering Journalist.
"Hey, Albion! You seein' this shit, you fuckwit!? I'm out here enjoying freedom once more, while you are still trapped inside a dumbass that can't even wield our powers properly! Hah! Lick my scaly ass in jealousy, bitch!"
I breathe in, and breathe out.
'And people call me unreasonable when I say I hate Dragons.'
I mean, he isn't that bad-
"Now, who's next!? Thor, Odin, Michael! I'll fuck you all up, right here, right now! Come at me together!"
Okay, yeah.
He's going to be a pain in the ass to handle, isn't he?
'Even putting him and Albion in a Sacred Gear didn't stop them from being headaches. What do you think?'
I'm going to cry.
A.N. And so, Ddraig gets to enjoy a battle after so long!
And become a problem for all Pantheons once more.
And make Albion seethe in jealousy too.
Hope y'all enjoyed the chappy!
Thank you all for the support, lots of love and hugs to y'all!
Toodles!
