Hello everyone -- I hope you're as well as you can be!
It's been a few weeks since the last video released, and I haven't said too much since then. I apologize for that, it's just been a very busy period. As soon as the video came out, I took a week off to catch up on studies as well, work on my drivers license, and just to decompress, because dear god that video took a lot out of me. Maybe taking on a giant project while starting cram school and autoschool wasn't the best idea, but hey, sometimes you're really overambitious and bad at knowing your limits and you do that. Happens to everyone. I think?
At any rate, I'm more-or-less caught up with my studies, I literally just got my motorcycle license today, and I'm currently finishing up some music work to help pay for expenses later this year. I should be back on the video grind by the end of this week, this time with my target being a much shorter and less complicated game than Saihate no Ima. I might try for something longer after that, but for now, I need a break from the wacky shit, especially since I'm in the hardest parts of the cram school right now (according to the teachers, and I believe it).
On that note, I'm currently considering a couple of different games for this next video. I'm not quite sure which one I'll go for, since games under 10 hours can be a bit of a gamble - sometimes they look interesting but don't have enough time to develop their concepts in a way that works for a video, and sometimes they seem banal and end up being [zoomer term for positive thing here]. Anyways, the candidates, in order of interest:
NOeSIS: I was suggested this by an acquaintance, because it's right up the alley of my channel and what a lot of y'all seem to want: obscure and completely deranged bloody horror with anime girls that you either think is hot garbage or the best shit ever made. It's also somewhat notable because an I Wanna Be The Guy Clone is based on it? I have no idea if this will turn out to be good material for a video, but I have to say, I am Quite Intrigued.
Bishoujo Mangekyou 2: This one is as much a self-indulgent pick for "please let me turn my brain off while also having an interesting theme to look at" as much as it is an excuse to talk about our perceptions of love and romance. From the spoilers I've heard about the game, it seems like it would be very interesting to discuss.
In Vitro Shoujo: I know quite literally nothing about this one except another acquaintance suggested it for being a nukige series by a notable developer that starts off as a murder mystery and proceeds to go places. It's, once again, the kind of weird obscure thing that people seem to love hearing about, and I'm curious.
I also want to give an honorable mention to TO-RA-WA-SE, which was requested by a viewer and will soon be receiving a translation from Shiravune! It does seem pretty neat, being a shorter titles that deals a lot with themes of Gender(tm), but I'm really not sure what else I can say on that topic after the Suisenka and Ai Mai Misuto videos. I'm going to hold onto it until I've gone through some more sociology/feminism books in my spare time during class intervals, because I want to have new questions and angles to go at the topic from to avoid repeating myself.

That should be all for now. A bit of a short update, but despite a lot happening, I don't have too much to write about. I'm just busy as hell with school being added into the fray, but I'm still here and providing.
