Lucky me. I was almost caught, as some SharpClaw chose my previous hiding spot for their “entertainment.” Now I’m stuck in what appears to be a tavern.
The turmoil inside is even more overwhelming. The smell and the tension assault my senses, and it takes all my willpower not to lose focus. The place is packed with SharpClaw, all too eager to indulge themselves. Even the females seem to be enjoying it just as much. What is going on?
And what is that red liquid covering their mouths? It doesn’t look like blood… at least, I don’t think it is.
Is that the head of an Aparoid warrior? I can’t believe they managed to take one down. Those things were incredibly resilient… These SharpClaw are not to be taken lightly…
All the more reason to arm myself.
For now, my priority is to find something I can use for protection. This place is full of brutes, yet there are no weapons in sight. The only thing within reach is a shield. But if I try to take it, there’s a high chance I’ll be seen.
Still, it would mean I’m no longer completely defenseless.
I could also try to push further inside. My instincts tell me I might find better equipment, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to keep searching for much longer without being noticed.
… Was that my stomach?
Oh no… not now… I haven’t eaten in so long. I still have enough strength to keep going, but even with all their noise, my stomach could give me away.
Before making a decision, I could try to snatch some meat from the room. Though I don’t recognize that strange liquid…
Is that what’s covering their mouths? Have they simply eaten recently, and are now… working it off?
… I think I’m starting to lose myself. The energy of this place… My hunger… They’re getting the better of me…
