This book is life changing for me.
DESCRIPTION

[This book is not an absolute solution, but it changed my basic perception of how to let go.

Well, some chapters are good, Some I don't like, but the core concept is very useful for me.]

"The thing you see in your mind, is totally separate thing from the thing you feel"

For over 2 months I'm fighting with my panic attack, Hallucination, and depression, and I fear a lot what I see in my mind. my body automatically react to the horror imagination.

This book, point out that, "What you see isn't you. It's just a picture". Some said it's a subconscious, a true goal, a real self....I would say....NO....it's a mixtures of everything possible, both logical and nonsense, even metaphor.

I thought at first what is wrong with me. Why I'm so bad, fragile. Am I a bad person? Am I...a monster, a psychopath?...

It turns out, the image I see...it's just an image....like seeing a movie....movie we saw doesn't define us what we are.....we just see it ... and then we will forget what we see.

So with the concept of, "Separating the event (physical event or mental event) from feeling" is the basic concept you heard so many times in spiritual teaching. But most of them didn't use easy words to understand.

But after I digested the meaning (without any fancy words), I still panic and encounter the hallucination...WITH less fear and able to control myself more.

If you know this fact, it will be easier for you to separate your feeling from the event that really occur in front of you... just easier....not a one-click life changing. And you will understand the way of let go easier too...(which I said, understand...doesn't mean able to do it....might be a later topic.)

So if you encounter something similar to me, just remind yourself. Whatever you see or feel, it's not you...and you have ability to choose to act or react with it.
