Hello friends, I need some assistance. As I'm writing the Pirate novel, I'm filling out the members of our intrepid crew and introducing some new characters and I want them to be from all sorts of places. However in looking for names I don't trust the usual name/heritage sites as far as I can jump, so I need your help.
If you are from a non English speaking background/heritage I would LOVE name suggestions for the crew. My only caveat is that they are traditionally male names and that they're not super modern. They need to sound like they could exist in the 1700's.
I would love to hear names from all over the world, but I'm also specifically looking to name characters that are Polynesian and Maori.
