Chapter 5: Kitty Pryde

Xavier Institute

It was past three in the morning when Kitty decided she couldn’t stare at her ceiling anymore.

Living in a mansion full of teenagers with superpowers was noisy enough during the day, but the nights had become a different kind of exhausting. Ever since Naruto arrived, the whole vibe of the school had shifted. Rogue was suddenly laughing at breakfast. Jean looked like she had finally slept for the first time in a decade. Even Ororo seemed distracted, staring out the windows with a look Kitty had never seen on her face before.

Everyone knew why. Nobody was talking about it openly, but Kitty wasn't stupid.

She walked down the cold stone steps to the sub-basement, her bare feet making no sound because she was letting her heels slip halfway through the floorboards. It was a habit she fell into when she was stressed. Phasing was her shield. If things got too loud, too complicated, or too real, she could just pull her molecules apart and let the world pass right through her.

She dropped into the old leather sofa in the secondary lounge, a dark room lit only by the green standby lights of the training computers. She let her body sink completely into the cushions, then a little further, until she was suspended halfway through the couch, floating in the empty space between the frame and the floor. It was the only place she felt completely safe from the weird, heavy tension hanging over the mansion.

The heavy steel door to the lounge hissed open.

Kitty didn't move. She didn't have to. Whoever it was would just see an empty room.

Then she smelled him. It wasn't the metallic tang of the sub-basement or the faint scent of laundry detergent. It was a thick, heavy heat that smelled like a rainforest right after a downpour.

Naruto walked into the room, wearing nothing but a pair of loose gray sweatpants. He didn't look around. He didn't check the corners. He walked straight toward the couch, his blue eyes fixed exactly on the spot where her head was resting against the leather.

"You're going to give yourself a cramp staying stuck in the furniture like that," he said. His voice was quiet, lacking the loud, boisterous edge he usually had around the guys during lunch.

Kitty sighed, letting her molecules tighten until she popped back up to the surface of the cushions. She pulled her knees up to her chest, glaring at him through her dark hair. "How did you even know I was down here? I didn't make a sound."

Naruto sat down on the opposite end of the long sofa. The moment his weight hit the springs, the whole structure shifted. The heat radiating off him was ridiculous, warm enough that Kitty could feel it even from three feet away.

"You leave a trail," Naruto said, leaning his head back against the wall. "Every time you walk through something, the air gets cold. Like you're sucking the room temperature out of the space you occupy. It's easy to follow if you know what to look for."

"Great. So my mutation makes me a walking draft," Kitty muttered, turning her face away. "What do you want, Naruto? It's three AM."

"You've been avoiding me," he said bluntly.

"I have not."

"You slipped through a brick wall yesterday just because I walked down the same hallway." He turned his head to look at her, those strange, whisker-like marks on his cheeks shifting as he gave her a dry look. "You almost dropped your books into the plumbing."

Kitty flushed, her cheeks burning in the dim green light. "I was in a hurry."

"Right." Naruto shifted, sliding closer along the leather. He didn't touch her, but the proximity alone made her skin tingle. "The other girls told me you've been acting weird. Jean said your mind is like a pinball machine lately."

"Jean needs to stay out of my head," Kitty snapped, her voice cracking slightly. She gripped her shins tighter. "And I'm not acting weird. I'm just... tired. Everything is changing around here, and it's annoying."

"What's changing?"

"You know what," she said, looking at him directly now. His eyes were wide and blue, but there was a faint, restless hum beneath his skin that she could practically see. "Rogue doesn't wear her gloves to breakfast anymore. Storm spent three hours fixing the roof of her garden and didn't complain once. You're doing something to them."

Naruto didn't deny it. He just tracked the line of her jaw with his eyes, his expression surprisingly grounded. "I'm not doing anything to them that they don't want. They're heavy, Kitty. Their powers are heavy. Rogue spends her whole life starving for a touch. Jean has a fire in her head that won't stop screaming. I'm just a battery. I give them a place to put all that extra weight."

"And what about me?" Kitty's voice dropped to a whisper. "I don't have a fire in my head. I don't drain people."

"No," Naruto agreed, reaching out slowly. His hand stopped an inch above her knee. "But you're a ghost. You spend so much time making sure nothing can hurt you that you don't actually touch anything. You're fading out, Kitty."

"I am not...."

Before she could finish the sentence, Naruto closed the distance. His large, warm palm pressed down against her bare knee.

Kitty's instinct reacted before her brain could. Her body went completely intangible, her molecules separating to let his hand drop through her leg. She expected his hand to slip through to the couch, but the moment his skin broke her surface, something went completely wrong.

A jolt of dense, vibrating energy shot from his hand directly into her core. It wasn't an electric shock, but a heavy, thick pulse of pure physical weight. It shattered her focus instantly. Her cells snapped back together with a force that made her gasp, her leg suddenly becoming completely solid beneath his hand.

The weight of his palm felt massive. She could feel every line of his skin, the heat of his blood, the rough calluses on his fingers. It was so intense it almost hurt, a sudden flood of pure sensation after years of filtering the world through a veil of air.

"See?" Naruto whispered, his hand sliding up her thigh, forcing her to stay anchored to the spot. "Your mutation operates on a frequency. My body just happens to run so loud that it jams your signal."

Kitty couldn't move. She couldn't phase away because the energy he was pumping into her leg was keeping her locked into the physical world. Her breath came in short, ragged shallow gasps. "Naruto... let go. It's too much."

"Is it?" He leaned in, his chest brushing against her arm. The heat was intoxicating, making her head spin. "Or is it just the first time you've actually felt the weight of another person?"

She looked at his mouth, then up to his eyes. The blue had darkened, a thin golden ring forming around his pupils. She felt entirely trapped, not by walls or doors, but by the sheer reality of his presence.

"Don't drop me through the floor," she whispered, her hands finally moving to grip his bare shoulders. Her fingers sank into his muscles, amazed by how solid, how impossibly real he felt.

Naruto grinned, his teeth sharp in the dark. "I've got you. You're not going anywhere."

He pulled her into his lap, his large hands clamping onto her waist. The moment her chest hit his, the energy transfer doubled. Kitty let out a low whimper, her head falling back as a wave of intense, heavy pleasure washed over her nervous system. Her power tried to fight it, her body flickering translucent for a split second, but Naruto's kinetic hum simply pushed through her, forcing her back into solid flesh.

Lemon Scene Ahead

He didn't wait. He caught her lips with his, his mouth hot and demanding. Kitty kissed him back with a sudden, desperate hunger she didn't know she possessed. She had spent so long being untouchable, so long being the girl who passed through life without leaving a mark, that the sheer impact of his mouth against hers felt like a revelation.

Naruto's hands moved under her oversized hoodie, his palms rough against the soft skin of her ribs. Everywhere he touched, her skin felt like it was catching fire. She arched into him, her legs wrapping around his waist, her pajama shorts riding up as she ground her center against his hardening length through the fabric of his sweatpants.

"Naruto, please," she panted against his neck, her teeth grazing his skin.

He didn't speak. He reached down, his fingers hooking into the waistband of her shorts and underwear, ripping them off in one smooth motion. He tossed them onto the floor. He didn't care about finesse; his movements were driven by the same heavy, unstoppable momentum that defined his mutation.

He freed himself from his sweatpants, his length thick and burning hot against her inner thighs. Kitty looked down, her heart hammering against her ribs like a trapped bird. She was terrified she would phase mid-way through, that she would ruin it, that she would accidentally slide through him and cause some horrific accident.

"Look at me, Kitty," Naruto ordered, his voice dropping to a gravelly command.

She looked up, her eyes wide and dark.

"Keep your eyes on me. Don't think about the walls. Don't think about the floor. Just think about how heavy I am."

He lifted her slightly, guiding himself to her soaked opening, and drove inside her in one deep, unyielding thrust.

Kitty's eyes went wide, a sharp cry torn from her throat. Her body instantly tried to dissolve, her hands slipping halfway through his shoulders as her mind fractured from the sheer intensity of the penetration. But Naruto didn't let her fade. He flared his kinetic field, a visible pulse of golden-orange light rippling across his skin. The energy slammed into her, forcing her molecules to lock down tight.

She solidified completely around him, her inner walls clamping down on his length with a tightness that made Naruto groan aloud, his head snapping back as his muscles locked.

"Yeah," he growled, his hands anchoring her hips. "Just like that. Stay right there."

He began to move, his thrusts heavy and deliberate. Every time he drove deep into her, the kinetic vibration rippled through her lower belly, creating a sensation so profound it made her vision blur. She wasn't just feeling the physical act; she was feeling his vitality, his health, the absolute limit of his mutant power pouring into her body like warm syrup.

Kitty clung to him, her fingers digging into his back, leaving red marks that healed almost as soon as they appeared. "I can't... Naruto, I feel everything. It's too much."

"Let it be too much and more," he muttered, burying his face in her hair, his breath hot against her ear. He increased the pace, his movements becoming faster, harder, pushing her back against the armrest of the couch.

The leather creaked loudly in the empty lounge, the sound echoing off the metal doors, but Kitty didn't care. She was drowning in the physical world. Every rub of his skin against hers, the sweat dripping from his forehead onto her collarbone, the friction of their bodies clashing, it was all so dense, so filled with weight, that she felt like she was being anchored to the center of the earth.

She ground her hips against his, matching his rhythm as best she could. The pleasure was building rapidly, a tight, coil of heat in her lower stomach that was beginning to pulse in sync with his kinetic field.

Her body began to flicker again, the impending climax causing her mutation to glitch. Her legs turned misty, her hands slipping into his chest.

"No, you don't," Naruto grunted. He shifted his grip, locking his arms around her upper body, pulling her completely flush against him, chest to chest, mouth to mouth. He pushed his energy to the absolute limit, his skin becoming scorching hot to the touch.

The sudden influx of power forced her back into reality with a violent snap. The sudden return of her density combined with the intense stimulation was the breaking point.

Kitty shattered. She screamed into his mouth, her body locking up in a massive, full-body orgasm that felt like a physical weight crushing her from the inside out. Her inner muscles pulsed around him in rhythmic, desperate spasms, drawing every bit of moisture and heat from him.

Naruto let out a low, guttural sound, his hips driving deep one last time as he hit his own release. He filled her completely, his body shuddering against hers as his kinetic field gave one final, blinding flash before settling down into a quiet, peaceful thrum.

Lemon Scene End

They stayed like that for a long time, the only sound in the sub-basement being their heavy, synchronized breathing. Kitty kept her face buried in his shoulder, her arms wrapped so tightly around his neck that her knuckles were white. She didn't want to let go. She was terrified that the moment she detached herself from his skin, she would float away like a balloon.

Naruto's large hand moved slowly up and down her back, his skin still incredibly warm, comforting against her damp flesh.

"You still with me, ghost girl?" he asked softly, his cheek resting against her hair.

"I'm here," Kitty whispered, her voice trembling slightly with aftershocks of pleasure. She tightened her legs around his waist, feeling the heavy, solid reality of him inside her. "I'm completely here."

"Told you," he murmured, a small, tired laugh shaking his chest. "You just needed the right anchor."

Kitty closed her eyes, letting herself sink into his warmth. For the first time since her mutation had manifested when she was a child, she didn't feel invisible. She didn't feel like a shadow watching other people live. She felt heavy. She felt real.

And as she listened to the steady, powerful thumping of Naruto's heart beneath her ear, she decided she never wanted to phase again.
