Chapter 1: The Weight of Steel and Silk
The mirror didn’t lie, but it certainly didn't tell the whole story.
Naruto adjusted the collar of his tailored charcoal suit, staring at the eighteen-year-old reflection looking back at him. He had the kind of sharp, effortless jawline and bright blue eyes that made high-society matrons gossip and their daughters whisper, but beneath the expensive silk fabric lay a body that belonged on a battlefield, not a runway.
He didn’t have chakra anymore. That mystical, roaring energy that used to define his very existence was gone, replaced by the mundane laws of a world governed by gravity and concrete. But he kept his mind. He kept the memory of every agonizing muscle tear, every evasion drill, and the absolute perfection of a body honed to kill. For the past decade, while his current mother thought he was just an hyperactive kid throwing himself into track and field, Naruto had been silently reconstructing his physical vessel. He trained in the dead of night until his lungs burned and his knuckles bled. He knew exactly how to balance his center of gravity, how to move without making a sound, and how to pack dense, explosive power into a lean, lethal frame.
He was a playboy by choice, a mask that let him enjoy the wealth of his new life without anyone asking why a teenager spent four hours a day practicing blind knife-throws in the woods.
"Naruto! If you don't get down here right now, we’re going to be late, and you know how she gets!" his mother’s voice echoed up the grand staircase of their estate.
"Coming, Ma!" Naruto called back, flashing a quick, arrogant grin at his reflection before turning on his heel.
The 'she' his mother was referring to was Lady Lara Croft.
The charity gala in downtown London was exactly the kind of high-society purgatory Naruto hated, but it was the perfect hunting ground for his public persona. The ballroom was a sea of glittering diamonds, champagne flutes, and old money. But Naruto’s eyes were locked on a single target the moment they walked through the double doors.
Lara was standing near the grand ice sculpture, looking breathtakingly gorgeous and profoundly irritated. She wore a backless, emerald-green silk gown that clung to every dangerous curve of her athletic body. Her long brown hair was styled in an elegant updo, exposing the pale column of her neck, but her dark eyes were cold, darting toward the exits.
Currently, she was cornered. Three men, wealthy investors by the look of their bespoke tuxedos and smug expressions, were crowding her space. One of them, a silver-haired billionaire named Sterling, was leaning in entirely too close, his hand hovering dangerously near the small of her back. Naruto could see the subtle tightening of Lara's jaw, the slight shift of her weight to her heels. She was half a second away from breaking the man's fingers.
Naruto didn’t hesitate. He grabbed two glasses of champagne from a passing waiter’s tray and navigated the crowded floor with fluid, predator-like grace.
"...really must consider the agricultural expansion in the East, Lady Croft. Perhaps over a private dinner?" Sterling was saying, his voice dripping with condescension.
"I’ve already told you, Mr. Sterling, my schedule is entirely booked with field research," Lara said, her voice a low, dangerous purr that the idiot completely misread.
"Oh, come now, surely a beautiful woman like you can make time for..."
"Lara! There you are!"
Naruto stepped smoothly into the circle, effortlessly skating past Sterling and cutting off the man's physical advance. He slipped one of the champagne flutes into Lara’s hand, giving her a bright, familiar wink. "I’ve been looking everywhere for you. You promised me a dance before the auction starts."
Lara blinked, startled by the sudden intrusion, but as she looked at Naruto, a flash of immense relief washed over her features, quickly masked by her usual composed facade. "Naruto. I didn't realize you and your mother had arrived."
Sterling frowned, his eyes scanning Naruto’s young frame with obvious annoyance. "Young man, we were in the middle of a private conversation."
Naruto didn’t even look at him. He kept his eyes locked on Lara, a lazy, confident smile playing on his lips. "Sorry, old timer. But a promise is a promise, and I don't let anyone keep me from a beautiful woman. Shall we, Lara?" He extended his hand, palm up.
Lara looked at his hand, then up at his cocky blue eyes. She knew him as her close friend's son, a charming, somewhat reckless boy who flirted entirely too much. But right now, he was a perfect escape hatch.
"Excuse me, gentlemen," Lara said smoothly, ignoring Sterling’s sputtering protest as she placed her gloved hand in Naruto's.
Naruto led her onto the crowded dance floor just as a slow, rhythmic waltz began to play. He turned, placing one hand firmly on the bare skin of her lower back, his other hand clasping hers. Lara stiffened slightly at the sudden warmth of his palm against her skin, her eyes narrowing in mock suspicion.
"You're getting entirely too bold, brat," Lara murmured, though she followed his lead flawlessly. To her surprise, he wasn't clumsy. He moved with a heavy, grounded rhythm that made it incredibly easy to follow. "Your mother told me you were supposed to be preparing for university, not crashing galas to play hero."
"University is boring," Naruto chuckled, pulling her slightly closer as another couple brushed past them. "Besides, you looked like you were about to put that guy through a wall. I saved his life, if you think about it. You owe me."
Lara let out a soft, melodic laugh, the tension leaving her shoulders. "I had the situation entirely under control."
"Sure you did, Lady Croft. But admit it, dancing with an eighteen-year-old playboy is a much better story for the tabloids." He leaned in a fraction, his breath warm against her ear. "You look absolutely stunning tonight, by the way. Emerald is definitely your color."
Lara rolled her eyes, a smirk playing on her lips. "Flattery won't work on me, Naruto. I've known you since you were running around in muddy trousers. I'm far too old for your little games."
"Age is just a number, Lara. And I'm a lot more man than any of those fossils in tuxedos," he purred, his blue eyes flashing with a sudden, intense heat that caught her completely off guard.
For a second, the playful boy vanished, replaced by something primal and fiercely confident. Before Lara could process the shift, the music transitioned, requiring a sharp, sweeping turn. Naruto guided her through it effortlessly, but as he brought her back into his frame, a sudden surge in the crowd forced him to step forward to protect her from being jostled.
He didn't step back. He held her tight against him, their bodies flushing together from chest to thigh.
Lara gasped softly, her breath catching in her throat. Directly against her lower abdomen, right through the thin silk of her green gown, she felt it. A thick, heavy, unyielding ridge pressing firmly against her. It was massive, completely unmistakable in its rigid length and sheer girth.
Her mind momentarily short-circuited. She looked up at him, her dark eyes wide with a mixture of shock, disbelief, and a sudden, violent spike of heat that pooled directly between her thighs. She had been with men before, cultured, athletic men, but nothing she had ever encountered felt like the raw, heavy weight currently branding her hip.
Naruto didn't look flustered at all. His smile grew a fraction wider, a dark, knowing glint in his eyes as he looked down at her flushed cheeks. "See? Told you. More man than you can handle."
Lara’s heart was hammering against her ribs. She should have pushed him away. She should have scolded him, walked back to his mother, and laughed it off. But the sheer tactile memory of what was pressed against her was sending a dizzying rush of adrenaline through her veins. The dangerous thrill of it, the forbidden nature of the boy standing before her, shattered her usual iron control.
"You..." Lara whispered, her voice tight, her breath coming a little faster. She looked around the ballroom, her survival instincts warring with a sudden, overwhelming lust she hadn't felt in years. "You are incredibly troublesome."
"I know," Naruto whispered back, his hand on her waist sliding down just an inch, his thumb rubbing against the silk over her hip. "There's a private executive bathroom down the north corridor. Swipe card access only. But the lock is easy to break."
Lara bit her lower lip, her gaze locking onto his lips before snapping back to his eyes. The sheer audacity of him was intoxicating. She pulled her hand from his grip, but instead of walking away, she gave a slow, deliberate nod. "Give me two minutes. If you're lying about the lock, I'm going back to the bar."
"Wouldn't dream of it," Naruto smiled.
Two minutes later, Naruto slipped into the dimly lit, opulent private bathroom. The walls were clad in dark marble, and a massive gold-rimmed mirror sat above a black quartz sink. Lara was already there, leaning against the edge of the sink, her breathing slightly uneven. The moment the heavy oak door clicked shut behind him, Naruto turned the lock and jammed a small metal pin he’d taken from a flower arrangement into the mechanism, ensuring no one with a keycard could interrupt.
Lara watched him, her arms crossed over her chest, trying to maintain her dominant aura. "Naruto, this is madness. If your mother..."
He didn't let her finish. Naruto crossed the distance between them in two silent, explosive strides. He caught her by the waist, his strong hands lifting her effortlessly and hoisting her up onto the cold quartz countertop.
Lara gasped, her hands instinctively flying to his broad shoulders for balance. "Naruto..."
Lemon Scene Ahead
"Shh," he murmured, stepping directly between her thighs, his hardened heat pressing instantly against her aching center through their clothes. He leaned up, capturing her lips in a deep, possessive kiss.
Lara groaned into his mouth, all her resistance melting away like ice under a torch. His tongue slid past her teeth, dominant and demanding, tasting of champagne and pure, unadulterated confidence. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer, her fingers tangling in his spiky blond hair as she kissed him back with a fierce, starved intensity.
Naruto’s hands tore at the zipper of her emerald gown, sliding the silk down her shoulders, exposing her flawless, sun-kissed skin and the black lace strapless bra underneath. He broke the kiss, his lips tracing a path of fire down her jawline to the sensitive hollow of her neck, nipping gently at her skin until she was whimpering, her head tilted back against the mirror.
"God, Naruto... you're so warm," she panted, her thighs clamping tightly around his waist, craving the friction.
"I've wanted you since the moment I saw you, Lara," he growled, his voice deep and rough. He reached down, hooking his fingers into her lace panties and pulling them down her long, toned legs, tossing them carelessly to the floor.
He quickly unbuckled his belt, throwing his trousers down to his thighs. When he freed himself, Lara's eyes snapped down, and a genuine tremor of anticipation ran through her body. He was gorgeous, thick, dark-veined, and absurdly long, glistening with early moisture.
"Lara, look at me," Naruto commanded softly.
She looked up, her eyes hooded and dark with raw need. Naruto guided his thick head to her soaking entrance, rubbing it against her sensitive clit once, twice, making her hips jerk violently. Then, with a slow, heavy thrust, he buried himself inside her to the absolute hilt.
"Oh, god!" Lara shrieked, the sound muffled as Naruto cupped his hand over her mouth, his eyes burning into hers. She stretched incredibly tight around him, her walls gripping his massive size as her eyes welled with tears of pure, overwhelming pleasure. No man had ever filled her like this. She felt stretched to her absolute limit, her internal muscles pulsing frantically around his thick shaft.
Naruto held her still for a moment, letting her body adjust to the sheer volume of him. He leaned in, kissing her cheek, whispering over her skin. "You okay? You're so tight, Lara. Perfect."
She nodded frantically against his palm, her hands gripping his biceps so hard her nails dug into the fabric of his suit. "Move," she whimpered against his skin the moment he withdrew his hand. "Please, Naruto... move."
Naruto grinned, a feral, triumphant expression. He pulled back until he was almost entirely out, then slammed back in, his hips crashing against hers with a loud, fleshy smack.
Lara let out a strangled cry, her legs wrapping tightly around his back, locking him in. Naruto began to pump into her with a relentless, brutal rhythm, his trained, powerful core driving each stroke deep into her womb. The cold quartz counter clattered against the wall with every heavy thrust, but neither of them cared.
The bathroom was filled with the heavy sounds of their ragged breathing, the squelch of her abundant wetness, and the rhythmic, slapping impact of their bodies. Naruto reached up, gripping her heavy breasts through the lace bra, squeezing them as he drove himself deeper and faster. Lara was completely unraveled, her high-and-mighty archaeologist persona shattered into a thousand pieces. She was just a woman being thoroughly, completely possessed by a man.
"I'm... I'm going to...Naruto!" she cried out, her internal walls suddenly contracting violently as a massive, shattering orgasm ripped through her.
Hearing her climax broke Naruto’s remaining control. He let out a low, animalistic grunt, driving himself into her three more times with absolute, bone-crushing force before bottoming out deep inside her. He held himself pinned against her womb as his core spasmed, pumping thick, hot ropes of semen deep into her, filling her to overflowing.
Lara slouched forward, her forehead resting against his sweaty shoulder, her body trembling violently as the aftershocks of their climax washed over them. Naruto held her tight, his heart hammering against her chest, a profound sense of satisfaction settling deep into his bones.
Lemon Scene End
The bathroom encounter was just the beginning.
For two years, the affair remained a thrilling, tightly kept secret. To the world, and to Naruto’s mother, they were just family friends. But behind closed doors, in secluded cabins, private yachts, and Lara's sprawling manor, they explored each other with a frantic, unquenchable passion. Naruto’s physical perfection only grew, his strength and reflexes reaching heights that defied human logic, while Lara found herself utterly addicted to the young man who knew exactly how to break her walls down.
But Naruto’s past-life instincts never truly slept. He felt a call, a strange, invisible pull drawing him toward the East. Two years into their secret relationship, he decided to take a spontaneous, off-the-grid vacation to Japan. He didn't tell his mother, and he didn't tell Lara his exact coordinates; he wanted a few weeks of total anonymity to clear his head and test his physical limits in the mountains of Tokyo.
He never could have anticipated what was waiting for him.
It happened in a flash of blinding light and a roaring, apocalyptic tremor that tore the very foundations of Tokyo apart. The Great Earthquake.
Naruto had been navigating a crowded district when the ground split open like a gaping maw. Amidst the screaming crowds, the collapsing skyscrapers, and the falling concrete, his hyper-attuned senses picked up a bizarre, unnatural surge of energy. It wasn't chakra, but it was ancient, chaotic, and violently feminine.
Through the dust, he saw a woman, Masane Amaha, stumbling through the debris, clutching a crying baby girl to her chest. Floating in the air before her was a terrifying, sentient gauntlet of organic metal and glowing red energy: the Witchblade. It was trying to forcibly bond with her, the violent feedback threatening to tear the woman and the child apart.
With his past-life hero instincts taking over, Naruto sprinted forward, his speed crossing human limits. He threw himself between Masane and the roaring artifact. As the Witchblade lunged to pierce Masane’s flesh, Naruto reached out with a raw, unprotected hand, grabbing the violent weapon by its glowing core.
"Get away from her!" Naruto roared.
The collision of energies was catastrophic. The Witchblade shrieked, a localized shockwave shattering the surrounding concrete. Naruto's sheer, indomitable physical will and his unique, foreign soul cracked the ancient artifact. A massive piece of the organic metal fractured off the main body, embedding itself violently into Naruto's right forearm.
The pain was unlike anything he had ever felt, a searing, white-hot agony that burned through his nervous system, rewriting his DNA. The foreign fragment merged with his flesh, its chaotic power clashing with his dormant soul, sending a massive psychic backlash through his mind.
As the world collapsed into darkness around him, Naruto's memories, both of his past life as a ninja and his two years with Lara Croft, were utterly shattered, locked away in the trauma of the bonding.
Months later, when the dust settled over the ruined, quarantined sectors of Tokyo, Naruto woke up in a makeshift relief camp. He had no idea who he was. He had no memory of his wealth, his mother, or the beautiful British archaeologist who was currently frantic with grief across the ocean.
All he knew was the name of the woman sleeping in the cot next to him, Masane Amaha, and the little girl, Rihoko, who clung to his hand like a lifeline. And beneath the bandages on his right forearm, a dark, pulsing crimson crystalline core lay dormant, waiting to be awakened.
He didn't know it yet, but the fragment had a name, born from his own fractured soul: The Kusanagi Core.
And thousands of miles away, in a quiet, empty manor in England, Lara Croft stared at a positive pregnancy test, tears streaming down her face as she stared at a map of Japan, wondering where her beautiful, reckless boy had gone.
