Chapter 14: The Predator’s Den

Invincible Universe

The subterranean training facility beneath the Uzumaki estate did not resemble the sterile, concrete containment blocks of the Global Defense Agency. Here, the architecture was a brutalist fusion of reinforced obsidian-tinted vibranium alloys and advanced seal-script matrices etched directly into the walls, glowing with a faint, pulsing azure light. The air was heavy, thick with the scent of high-end cedar incense, and the underlying, intoxicating pheromones of apex predators. It was a space designed specifically to withstand the kinetic output of continental-tier entities, and more importantly, to break them.

Anissa stood perfectly still in the dead center of the standard-issue combat square. Her Viltrumite biology had already completely repaired the cellular degradation caused by Cecil Steadman’s high-frequency sonic emitters. Her dark hair was pulled back into a severe, functional warrior's braid, and the sleek, dark bodysuit she wore clung tightly to the hyper-dense, coiled musculature of her frame. She looked pristine, dangerous, and utterly deadly, yet her chest heaved with a ragged, uneven cadence that betrayed her internal volatility.

A few yards away, lounging on a low-slung, crimson velvet chaise that looked absurdly out of place against the reinforced metal floor, sat Dupli-Kate. The undisputed queen bee of the household wasn't wearing her standard hero attire. Instead, she was draped in a flowing, emerald-green silk robe that parted slightly at the thigh, a crystal flute of vintage mimosa resting loosely between her manicured fingers. Her posture was the epitome of relaxed, mocking superiority. Behind her stood three identical clones, their arms crossed, their expressions mirroring the lazy, predatory smirk of the original.

"You've been pacing that square for three hours, Anissa," Kate murmured, her voice smooth, dripping with an casual arrogance that drove a spike of pure adrenaline through the Viltrumite’s veins. "Naruto thinks you have a place here. He thinks your genes are worth preserving. Personally? I think you’re just a broken tool from a dying empire that doesn't realize it’s been salvaged from the scrap heap."

Anissa’s jaw clenched so hard the bone audibly popped. Her golden-brown eyes flared with a sudden, murderous heat, the sheer gravity of her killing intent causing the air pressure in the room to drop visibly. "You speak with immense boldness for a fragile, native parasite, human. Your entire existence relies on a multiplication anomaly. Strip away your parlor tricks, and I could reduce your bones to powder before your nervous system could register the pain."

Kate didn't flinch. She didn't even look up from her glass. She simply took a slow, deliberate sip, the ice clinking softly against the crystal. "You could try. But the last man who tried to break my bones ended up screaming in a ditch while Naruto tore his empire apart. You see, Anissa, you Viltrumites suffer from a very specific, very pathetic delusion. You think strength is purely mechanical. You think because you can fly fast and punch through steel, the universe owes you submission."

One of Kate’s clones stepped forward, her eyes narrowing. "But you’re in our house now. And in this house, you don't get to be the apex. You’re just the raw material."

With a sonic boom that shattered the reinforced viewing tiles along the upper balcony, Anissa exploded into motion. She became a localized blur of devastating kinetic energy, a Viltrumite missile targeted squarely at the original Kate’s throat. Her outstretched fingers were curved into a rigid, armor-piercing strike designed to cleanly decapitate the human woman before she could even think about duplicating.

But Anissa’s hand never reached the silk collar.

Out of the absolute vacuum of the shadows, four identical versions of Kate materialized instantly, their movements preternaturally coordinated. They didn't just intercept Anissa; they used her own massive forward momentum against her. Two clones seized her extended arm, twisting it back with a violent, synchronized torque that utilized the absolute, unyielding density of Brit’s stolen invulnerability formula. The other two clones drove their knees directly into Anissa’s exposed ribs and solar plexus, the impact producing a sickening, metallic thud that echoed through the subterranean chamber.

The sheer, unnatural weight of the clones pressed Anissa down, forcing her knees to violently crack against the reinforced foundation. She snarled, a guttural, animalistic sound of pure outrage, her muscles expanding as she prepared to exert her full planetary lifting strength to vaporize the constructs surrounding her.

"That's enough, Kate."

The voice wasn't loud, but it possessed an absolute, heavy resonance that immediately caused the air to grow completely still. The ambient light in the room seemed to dim, swallowed by the sheer presence of the man who had just stepped out from the private elevator access.

Naruto Uzumaki walked slowly across the black floor. He wasn't dressed in his ostentatious "Unstoppable" hero uniform. He wore simple, dark designer trousers and a loosely fitted obsidian silk shirt, the top three buttons undone to reveal the rugged, pale expanse of his chest and the faint, swirling black lines of the sealing matrices dormant beneath his skin. His blonde hair was slightly disheveled, and his piercing blue eyes held the calm, terrifying serenity of a deep-sea trench.

At his approach, the clones vanished into thin air, leaving only the original Kate, who smoothly stood up, her smirk widening as she stepped back to give him the floor.

Anissa rose slowly, her breathing heavy, wiping a thin smear of crimson from her lower lip. Her pride was screaming, her Viltrumite programming demanding that she attempt to tear this man’s throat out, but her instincts, the ancient, hardwired survival mechanisms of her DNA, were singing a completely different tune. They were telling her that the entity standing before her was not a man. It was an extinction event.

"You still have that look in your eyes," Naruto said, his voice a low, melodic purr as he stopped exactly three feet from her. He didn't assume a combat stance. He kept his hands loosely in his pockets, his posture completely open, completely undefended, because he knew, and she knew, that defense was entirely unnecessary. "The look that says you’re waiting for Grand Regent Thragg to send a fleet to rescue you. You think your loyalty to the vanguard means something."

"The Empire does not forget its vanguard," Anissa hissed, though she didn't take a step forward. "My failure here is temporary. When the main armada arrives..."

"The main armada won't care about you, Anissa," Naruto interrupted, his tone chillingly matter-of-fact. "Thula understood that. That’s why she’s currently upstairs, living like a queen, ensuring her daughter Kara has a future. She realized that the Viltrum Empire doesn't reward loyalty; it rewards survival. If you are captured by a superior force, you are no longer an asset. You are an embarrassment to the bloodline. If Thragg’s fleet arrives, the first thing they will do to preserve their collective pride is execute the warrior who allowed herself to be caged by 'insects.'"

He stepped closer, the sheer physical heat radiating from his body washing over her. "You have a choice. You can remain a stubborn, broken prisoner, waiting for a executioner's blade from your own people. Or you can submit to the only force on this planet that can actually offer you a chance."

Anissa’s chest heaved. The logic was cold, undeniable, and it struck at the very core of her Viltrumite conditioning. To serve strength was the law. And Naruto Uzumaki was the absolute definition of strength.

With a roar of desperate, conflicting emotions, Anissa launched herself at him. It wasn't a calculated tactical strike; it was a raw, unfiltered test of his dominance. She threw a right hook loaded with enough kinetic force to shift a tectonic plate, aimed directly at his jaw.

Naruto didn't even move his feet. He simply brought his left hand up, his palm open.

BOOM

The shockwave of the impact compressed the air in the room, creating a visible ring of distorted white energy that shattered the remaining light fixtures, plunging the room into a deep, shadow-drenched twilight lit only by the glowing blue seal-scripts. Naruto’s hand hadn't budged an inch. His fingers closed around her fist, his grip instantly tightening with a crushing, absolute pressure that made the hyper-dense bones in her hand groan under the strain.

Before she could pull away, Naruto’s other hand shot forward, his fingers wrapping around her throat with the speed of a striking viper. He lifted her effortlessly, her boots leaving the ground as he drove her backward, slamming her spinal column against the central obsidian pillar.

"I am not a merciful man, Anissa" Naruto whispered, his face inches from hers, his blue eyes shifting into a cold, ruthless pattern that seemed to swallow her vision. "I want your absolute, unadulterated submission or you can choose to die."

He squeezed her throat, restricting the flow of oxygen and blood to her brain just enough to trigger the primal panic response within her Viltrumite physiology. For twenty years, she had known nothing but the absolute authority of the Grand Regent. But now, pinned against a pillar of black stone by a man whose grip felt like the jaws of a cosmic leviathan, her pride collapsed inward. The defiance in her golden eyes didn't just fade, it converted entirely into a desperate, burning carnal awe.

"Say it," Naruto commanded, his voice a deep, vibrating rumble that resonated through her very bones.

"I... submit," Anissa choked out, her fingers weakly clutching at his wrists, not to fight back, but to hold onto the only source of absolute power in her universe. "My... my king."

Naruto’s smirk returned, slow and dominant. He released his grip, letting her slide down the pillar to her knees, her breath coming in ragged, desperate gasps as she looked up at him from the floor, completely and irrevocably broken into his service.

Upstairs, the master suite of the Uzumaki residence was bathed in the soft, golden light of the late morning sun. The room was vast, furnished with a minimalist luxury that emphasized space, comfort, and total privacy.

Debbie Grayson sat on the edge of the king-sized bed, her fingers tightly gripping the silk sheets. Her short dark hair was slightly messy, and her skin, still warm from the lingering heat of the previous night, bore the faint, faint purplish imprints of Naruto’s heavy hands around her hips, a physical marking that felt less like an injury and more like a permanent seal of ownership.

She stared out the floor-to-ceiling windows, her gaze tracking the distant, shimmering line of the horizon. Her mind was a chaotic storm of rationalizations, grief, and a terrifyingly profound sense of relief. She had spent decades being the wife of Omni-Man. She had spent decades being the human balance to a god, only to be discarded like a piece of cheap luggage when the truth came out. She had been left empty, hollowed out by Nolan’s betrayal and physically violated by the madness of Angstrom Levy.

But here, in this room, that emptiness had been aggressively, violently filled.

The door to the adjoining bath opened, and Naruto stepped out, a dark towel slung low around his waist, water droplets glistening on the hard, defined ridges of his abdominal muscles and the thick cords of his shoulders. He didn't look like a man who had just spent the last hour breaking a Viltrumite general in the basement; he looked perfectly composed, his energy radiating a calm, satisfied dominance.

He walked over to the bed, his movements fluid, and sat down beside her. He didn't say a word initially. He simply reached out, his large, warm hand cupping the back of her neck, his thumb gently stroking the sensitive skin just beneath her ear.

Debbie shivered, her head automatically tilting into his palm, an instinctive, biological reaction that she could no longer control. "I... I can't stop thinking about Mark," she whispered, her voice husky and strained. "Every time I close my eyes, I see him being pulled through that portal. I see him screaming for me. And here I am... in your bed. In your house."

"Mark is alive, Debbie," Naruto said, his voice a smooth, comforting purr that acted as an anchor to her fraying sanity. "He is a Viltrumite hybrid. He is durable. But he needs to learn the reality of the universe he lives in. Nolan shielded him from it. You shielded him from it. You tried to raise a god as a boy who worries about high school exams and part-time jobs. That was your mistake."

His hand slid down her neck, his fingers trailing along her collarbone, tracing the delicate lines of her shoulder. "The universe doesn't care about his 'goodness,' Debbie. It cares about his strength. Right now, wherever he is, he is learning the hard way that his father’s legacy isn't something he can escape. But you don't need to carry that weight anymore. You've given enough to the Grayson name. It’s time you took something for yourself."

Debbie looked up, her brown eyes meeting his piercing blue ones. There was a terrifying truth in his words. She had spent her entire adult life serving a family that had shattered into pieces the moment the wind changed. With Naruto, there was no illusion. He didn't pretend to be a human husband. He didn't pretend to love her with the mundane, fragile affection of a mortal man. He looked at her with a raw, possessive hunger that acknowledged her value as a prize, as a woman, and as a mother for his future lineage.

"I feel like I'm losing myself," she murmured, her hands coming up to rest against his bare chest, her fingers curling slightly against the hard muscle.

"You’re not losing yourself, Debbie," Naruto whispered, leaning down until his lips were brushing against hers. "You’re just finally being filled."

Lemon Scene Ahead

The kiss was instantaneous and consuming. Naruto didn't offer the gentle, tentative comfort of a human lover; his tongue parted her lips with a heavy, demanding pressure that left no room for hesitation. Debbie groaned deep in her throat, her arms winding around his neck as she pulled him down onto her, her body opening up beneath his weight with a desperate, familiar hunger.

He stripped the silk sheets away, exposing her mature, perfectly curved form to the morning light. Her skin was already flushed, her core slick with a deep, instinctual readiness that responded entirely to the Viltrumite pheromones he exhaled. Naruto’s eyes darkened as he looked down at her, his hand sliding down between her thighs, his fingers parting her outer lips to find her drenched, throbbing center.

"Look at me, Debbie," he growled softly, his fingers delving deep into her heat, testing her elasticity, reminding her body of the sheer scale of the man she had chosen.

Debbie arched her back, her breath caught in her throat as his fingers stroked her inner walls with an unyielding, rhythmic pressure. "Naruto... please. I don't want to think anymore. Just... make me forget. Make me forget everything."

"I told you before, Debbie," Naruto murmured, his towel discarding onto the floor as his massive, turgid length stood hard and ready, pulsing with a dark, heavy heat. "I won't leave you empty."

He positioned the thick head of his rod against her tight entrance. He didn't tease her. He didn't delay. With a single, heavy, deliberate thrust of his hips, he drove himself entirely inside her, burying his length to the absolute hilt.

PLAP

Debbie’s eyes widened to their absolute limits, her mouth opening in a silent, high-pitched scream of pure, unadulterated ecstasy mixed with the intense stretching pain of his size. She felt entirely occupied, her internal muscles straining to accommodate the sheer thickness that now pressed against her cervix, filling every corner of her vaginal canal with a burning, suffocating heat.

"Oh god... Naruto!" she panted, her fingers digging violently into the muscles of his back, her heels locking tightly around his waist to pull him even deeper into her core.

Naruto didn't hesitate. He began to move, establishing a brutal, relentless cadence that filled the silent master suite with the rhythmic, wet cadence of their colliding flesh.

PLAP! PLAP! PLAP!

He grabbed her hips, his large hands holding her firmly to the mattress as he hammered into her with the unyielding, tireless stamina of his Viltrumite physiology. Every thrust was a deliberate assertion of dominance, a physical reminder that her body belonged to the Uzumaki name now. Debbie’s mind completely shattered under the weight of the sensation; the grief for her missing son, the lingering terror of Angstrom Levy, the burning resentment toward Nolan, it was all systematically incinerated by the sheer, overwhelming pleasure of Naruto’s touch.

"Yes! Harder! Don't stop!" she screamed, her voice growing raspy, her face flushed a deep crimson as her body began to violently clench around his shaft, her inner muscles milking him with a desperate, frantic rhythm.

Naruto growled, the violent contractions of her pussy triggering his own primal urges. He flipped her over onto her hands and knees with effortless strength, pulling her hips back against his thighs before driving himself back into her from behind. The change in angle allowed him to sink even deeper, his rod hitting the sensitive apex of her womb with every devastating plunge.

He reached around her body, one hand gripping her breast, squeezing the soft flesh until it bore the red marks of his fingers, while his other hand slid down, his thumb aggressively working her clit as his hips continued their blurring, relentless assault. Debbie was a complete mess beneath him, her head shaking from side to side, her saliva dripping onto the silk pillows as she was driven over the edge of sanity.

"I'm going to fill you, Debbie," Naruto whispered darkly against her ear, his breath scorching her skin. "I'm going to put an Uzumaki child in this womb."

The words triggered a massive, explosive climax within her. Her inner walls clamped down on him like a vice, a series of violent, electric spasms ripping through her lower body. Naruto let out a guttural, animalistic roar, his upper body tensing as he delivered three more brutal, deep thrusts, burying himself to the absolute root before releasing his massive, potent Viltrumite seed deep into her cervix.

Load after load of thick, hot semen flooded her womb, filling her to the point of overflowing, the white heat of his release pulsing within her for what felt like an eternity.

Lemon Scene End

When it was over, Naruto pulled out slowly, a thick mixture of her slickness and his seed spilling out onto the rumpled sheets. Debbie collapsed flat onto her stomach, her limbs trembling, her breathing a series of shallow, exhausted gasps. She lay there, completely spent, her body marked, her womb heavy and full, completely domesticated by the sheer physical reality of her new life.

Naruto stood up, completely unbothered by the exertion, and walked over to the adjacent dressing room to prepare for the afternoon.

The afternoon sun hit the private courtyard garden with a clear, brilliant intensity. The courtyard was a marvel of concealed engineering, surrounded by a localized gravity-displacement field and multiple high-level concealment seals designed by Naruto himself, it was completely invisible to GDA surveillance satellites and global intelligence agencies.

At the center of the manicured lawn stood a long, white marble table. Dupli-Kate sat near the head, her posture elegant as she watched one of her clones carefully pour a chilled chardonnay into several crystal glasses. Another clone stood a few paces away, gently rocking a sleeping baby Oliver in her arms, her movements surprisingly tender for a construct designed for combat.

Across from her sat Samantha Eve Wilkins. The vibrant, fiercely independent "Atom Eve" was barely recognizable in her demeanor. She wore a simple, loose-fitting sundress of pale pink silk, her long red hair falling over her shoulders in unbrushed waves. Her face was pale, her eyes wide and slightly unfocused, bearing the distinct, dazed expression of a woman whose psychological foundations had been completely dismantled over the past forty-eight hours.

"You're not eating your fruit, Sam," Kate observed, her voice casual, conversational, yet loaded with an underlying layer of instruction. "The kitchen spent considerable time sourcing those berries from the Mediterranean sectors. Naruto likes his women well-nourished."

Sam’s fingers tightened around the edge of the marble table. "I... I'm not hungry, Kate. I just... I keep expecting my phone to ring. I keep expecting my parents to call the GDA because I haven't been home."

Kate chuckled, a light, musical sound that sent a chill down Sam’s spine. "I told you yesterday, Sam. Your parents think you’re on an extended, deep-cover intelligence operation for Cecil Steadman. One of my clones visited them personally, complete with a forged GDA security clearance protocol. They were very proud of you. They think their little girl is saving the world."

"It's a lie," Sam whispered, her voice trembling. "Everything here is a lie."

"Is it?"

The glass doors to the main villa slid open, and Naruto stepped onto the patio. He was dressed in a dark, tailored suit jacket over a crisp white shirt, his presence immediately shifting the atmospheric pressure of the courtyard. Behind him walked Debbie Grayson. She was moving slowly, her steps slightly uneven, a subtle, rhythmic limp in her stride that served as a visible testament to the intensity of her morning in the master suite. Her expression was calm, almost serene, her eyes fixed entirely on the back of Naruto’s shoulders.

Thula was already present, standing near the edge of the courtyard’s infinity pool, her arms crossed over her chest. She wore her standard Viltrumite training fatigues, her sharp eyes taking in the scene with the cold, calculating evaluation of a seasoned general.

"Sit, Debbie," Naruto said, taking his place at the head of the table. Kate immediately leaned into his side, her hand resting possessively over his knee, a gesture he acknowledged with a casual, brief pat.

Debbie sat down next to Sam. The two women looked at each other, one, a mother who had lost her family to the cosmic truth of the Viltrumites; the other, a young heroine who had been forcibly dragged into the reality of Naruto’s absolute dominance. There was an unspoken, heavy understanding between them. They were no longer part of the world of heroes. They were part of the nest.

"Thula," Naruto said, his eyes scanning the table as a clone brought out a platter of roasted meats and fresh greens. "Report on the perimeter."

"The GDA has increased their patrol sweeps along the northern sector line," Thula reported, her voice precise. "Cecil is growing nervous. He knows Anissa is no longer in the silo, but he doesn't have the courage to ask you where she is. Kara is currently handling the training protocols with your son Sky in the Nevada desert. His durability is increasing, but his combat instincts are still too human. He hesitates before delivering a lethal strike."

"He’ll learn," Naruto remarked, his tone indifferent. "Or he’ll become irrelevant. The Uzumaki name doesn't tolerate mediocrity."

Sam looked at the food, her stomach turning. "Naruto... please. If I'm going to stay here... if this is my life now... I want to see Amber. You said she was safe. You said she was in a secure location."

Naruto turned his gaze toward her. The sheer weight of his blue eyes made her breath catch in her throat. "Amber is currently carrying my child, Sam. She is in a specialized medical suite under the direct supervision of top-tier geneticists. Her environment is regulated to ensure the hybrid biology doesn't compromise her human frame. You will see her when I decide you are stable enough to handle the reality of what we are building here."

He leaned forward, his elbows resting on the marble table. "Look around this table, Sam. You see Debbie. You see Thula. You see Kate. Soon, you will see Anissa sitting here as well. Every one of them represents a specific aspect of the world I am curating. You have a unique gift, Sam. Your matter-manipulation abilities are a beautiful genetic anomaly. Combined with my bloodline, the children you bear will be able to reshape entire sectors of the galaxy."

Sam’s eyes filled with tears, her hands shaking. "You just want us as breeding stock. Like... like animals."

"Animals fight for survival in the mud, Sam," Kate cut in, her voice sharp, the velvet glove slipping to reveal the iron fist beneath. "Here, you are given protection, luxury, and the privilege of siring the future rulers of this world. Do you honestly think your life before this was better? Flying around, patching up broken bridges, waiting for some cosmic threat like Omni-Man to reduce your city to ash while the government debates your funding? That’s not freedom, Sam. That’s a slow death. Here, you serve the only power that matters."

Naruto stood up, signaling the end of the discussion. "Take her back to her quarters, Kate. She needs more time to process her value."

Thirty miles away, buried deep beneath the salt flats of the Great Basin, the GDA underground silo was an absolute hive of chaotic, high-intensity activity.

Cecil Steadman walked through the shattered remains of the blast doors, his face a pale, wrinkled mask of intense stress and exhaustion. The air in the corridor still smelled of localized lightning and torn space. Around him, dozens of GDA tactical agents in full environmental armor were sweeping the area with radiation counters and dimensional resonance scanners.

He stopped in front of the central containment chamber. The massive, reinforced glass silo that had held Anissa was completely empty. The high-frequency sonic emitters had been systematically crushed, not shattered by an external kinetic impact, but systematically compressed into neat, metallic cubes, as if someone had simply folded the hyper-dense alloy with their bare hands.

"Sir," Donald Ferguson said, stepping up behind Cecil, a digital tablet clutched tightly in his hand. "The sensor logs are... completely scrambled. The security feed shows a localized temporal distortion at exactly 0300 hours. The cameras went black for three seconds. When they came back on, General Anissa was gone, and the automated defense systems had been completely deactivated from an internal administrative override."

Cecil took a deep, ragged breath, his fingers tracing the scar along his jawline. "An administrative override? From where, Donald?"

"The encryption keys match the primary terminal at the Uzumaki estate, sir," Donald replied, his voice dropping to a harsh whisper. "It was him. He didn't even use a proxy. He used his own personal clearance code. He wanted us to know it was him."

"Of course he did," Cecil muttered, his eyes fixed on the empty cage. "He’s testing us. He wants to see if we have the nerve to call him on it. He takes Omni-Man’s wife, he takes the Wilkins girl, and now he walks into our highest-security black site and takes a Viltrumite general like he’s picking up a package from the post office."

"What are our orders, sir?" Donald asked, his posture rigid. "The Joint Chiefs are already calling for a mobilization protocol. If Naruto is collecting Viltrumites... if he’s forming an alliance with them..."

"An alliance?" Cecil laughed, a bitter, hollow sound. "Naruto Uzumaki doesn't form alliances, Donald. He collects assets. If Anissa is with him, she isn't his partner. She’s his property. And God help us if he figures out a way to make her loyal to him."

He turned away from the silo, his coat billowing behind him as he walked back toward the elevator. "Tell the Joint Chiefs to stand down. We don't move a single asset toward his estate. We don't send a single drone. If we push him now, before the New Guardians are even remotely combat-ready, he won't just leave the GDA; he’ll dismantle the entire global defense structure in an afternoon. For now... we clean up his mess, we keep the public looking at his official hero profile, and we pray to whatever gods are left that he stays satisfied with the women he’s already taken."

Dimension 642 - The Scourge of the Rim

On the surface of Sector-Rim World 89, the sky was the color of bruised iron. The planet was a desolate expanse of jagged obsidian crags and toxic, sulfurous marshlands, one of the many outer-rim territories that King Thragg’s empire had reduced to a mining colony.

Deep within a labyrinth of subterranean caverns, the native resistance, a bipedal, reptilian species known as the Vildar, had gathered. They were a proud, battle-hardened race, their bodies covered in thick, armored scales, their weapons a crude but effective combination of plasma-edge blades and repurposed mining lasers. For three solar cycles, they had successfully sabotaged Thragg’s orbital refineries, believing that their hidden network of caves was completely secure from Viltrumite detection.

They were wrong.

The reinforced steel bulkhead at the entrance of the primary bunker didn't just blow open, it was turned into a high-velocity cluster of shrapnel that tore through the front line of Vildar warriors in a fraction of a second.

Through the smoke and dust walked Mark Grayson.

He looked entirely different from the boy who had worn the blue-and-yellow uniform on Earth. He wore the dark, streamlined armor of an Imperial Trainee, the crest of King Thragg’s vanguard etched in gold across his chest. His hair was long, matted with sweat and old blood, and his face was set into a cold, expressionless mask of absolute, unyielding cruelty. His eyes, once full of youthful hesitation and human empathy, were dead, flat, and completely devoid of light.

"The Viltrumite!" the Vildar commander roared, raising a heavy plasma cannon. "Kill him! Fire!"

A barrage of super-heated plasma bolts converged on Mark’s position, lighting up the cavern in a blinding display of white-hot energy. The temperature in the cave rose instantly, the rock walls melting into slag under the intensity of the assault.

When the dust cleared, Mark was still walking.

The Imperial armor was scorched, but his skin was completely unmarked. The kinetic impact hadn't even slowed his stride. Before the Vildar could reload, Mark vanished.

He became a localized hurricane of hyper-dense physical violence. He reappeared directly in front of the commander, his right hand shooting forward with the speed of a railgun. His fingers tore cleanly through the alien’s armored chest scales, his fist closing around the primary heart and crushing it into a wet slurry before the creature could even scream.

Without stopping, Mark spun on his heel, his left leg sweeping out in a massive, low kick that carried enough kinetic energy to completely sever the legs of three adjacent warriors. The sound of snapping bone and tearing flesh filled the cavern, accompanied by the wet, rhythmic spray of blue alien blood against the stone walls.

A young Vildar warrior, barely more than a child, dropped his weapon and fell to his knees, his eyes wide with terror as Mark stepped over the corpses of his comrades. "Please..." the alien chattered in his native tongue. "We... we were only fighting for our home..."

Mark stopped, looking down at the creature. For a single, fleeting fraction of a second, a phantom memory flitted through his fractured mind, a memory of a high school hallway, of a girl named Amber smiling at him, of a mother telling him that his powers were a gift to protect people.

Then, the image shifted. He saw the transparent glass of the biosphere in the Imperial Spire. He saw his mother, Debbie, dressed as a slave, nursing a monster's child, smiling with that empty, chemically-induced adoration at King Thragg.

The memory burned away, leaving nothing but a cold, heavy void.

Mark raised his boot and brought it down with the full weight of his planetary density, crushing the young alien’s skull into the dirt without a hint of hesitation.

"No survivors," Mark whispered to the empty cave, his voice completely flat, completely dead.

Ten minutes later, Mark emerged from the cavern entrance into the toxic gray twilight of the planet's surface. His armor was drenched in blue Vildar blood, his hands dripping with gore.

Hovering a few feet above the ground, waiting for him, was Luma. The daughter of Thragg who bore his mother’s face looked down at him, her icy blue eyes scanning the carnage with a slow, approving nod.

"You were thorough, Mark," she said, her voice a smooth, musical purr as she floated down until her boots touched the blood-stained rock. She reached out, her fingers gently wiping a smear of alien gore from his cheek, her touch mockingly tender. "Father will be pleased. The resistance in this sector is officially extinct."

Mark didn't look at her. He looked out over the barren, industrial landscape of the rim-world. "I did what he asked. Now give me what he promised."

Luma chuckled, a cold, dark sound. "Of course. A Viltrumite always keeps his word." She reached into her belt and pulled out a small, high-density data drive, tossing it to him. Mark caught it automatically. "That contains the orbital surveillance logs from your primary dimension over the last forty-eight hours. Our agents within Angstrom's network managed to pull it before the portal closed."

Mark immediately activated the drive, a small, holographic projection hovering in the space between them.

The image stabilized, showing the private courtyard garden of the Uzumaki residence back on Earth. Mark’s eyes widened, his breath caught in his throat as he watched the projection. He saw his mother, Debbie Grayson. She was alive. She looked beautiful, healthy, but she was sitting at a table next to Dupli-Kate and Atom Eve. He watched as Naruto Uzumaki stepped onto the patio, and he watched, with a horror that felt like a knife twisting in his gut, as his mother stood up and leaned into Naruto's side, her expression filled with a genuine, adoring serenity as Naruto’s hand rested on her waist.

She wasn't being forced. She wasn't under the influence of Imperial mind-control chemicals. She looked at the blonde man with the exact same devotion she had once shown Nolan.

"You see, Mark?" Luma whispered in his ear, her presence a suffocating weight. "While you’re out here turning yourself into a monster for our Father, back home, your mother has already found a new master. She didn't even wait for you to come back. She’s already part of the Unstoppable’s harem."

The holographic projector shattered in Mark’s grip, the delicate components reduced to fine metallic dust as his hand clenched into a white-knuckled fist. The blue Vildar blood on his skin seemed to bake under the sudden, immense heat radiating from his body.

His eyes didn't just turn red, they became two burning pools of crimson fury, his Viltrumite aura flaring with a violent, destructive intensity that caused the stone beneath his boots to crack and split.

"Naruto..." Mark whispered, the name a jagged, murderous growl that tore from his throat.

He had thought he wanted to destroy Thragg. He had thought he wanted to tear down the Imperial Spire. But as he looked at the horizon of the broken rim-world, he realized the truth. The universe didn't reward heroes, and it didn't reward victims. It only rewarded the predator who claimed what was his.

"I'm coming home," Mark said, his voice dropping to a terrifying, quiet whisper that carried the absolute weight of his complete, final corruption. "And I'm going to burn that house to the ground."

Across the dimensions, inside the secure terminal of his private study, Naruto Uzumaki let out a sneeze, he had a feeling Mark was talking about him.
