This comic is ENTIRELY based on me and my boyfriend. We met up for the first time last year (HOORAY!!) and I did not realize how much I dislike having my lips wet. I'll actually catch this guy putting on like 3 pounds of chapstick, it drives me NUTS. I said this in the timelapse post, but originally they were going to be in a much more tender position, but I swapped it for what I ended up with here because otherwise it would've been REALLY similar to the original kiss comic
