2026 Sequence Reveals and Loose January Plan
DESCRIPTION

Thanks for your patience. I took a small break during the new year just to sort of reset myself.

I'll hold back on the apologies and complaining. I'll assume everyone read the most recent journal. Instead here's the current outlook for 2026.

First, let's get the fun news out of the way: We're announcing the 4 sequence series for this year. We're going all heavy hitters this year with a group of shonen as well as a follow up to one of our most popular releases of last year.

Going from left to right:

Two Piece: A One Piece themed twinning series featuring all three members of the Monster Trio! This series will feature the main 3 guys transforming into a variety of women from the world of One Piece. The trio will alternate each month so January will be a Luffy sequence, February a Zoro one, and so on. They will not be turning into the same women. As with most of the twinning content this series will be written by charoset.

Channel Surf: A My Hero Academia themed series featuring Deku who will be going up against the mysterious (read: convenient OC) Channel Surfer. The villain will use his reality bending powers to flip Deku's form to one suited to the shows he wants to watch!

Shinobi Undercover: A Naruto based series featuring Naruto as he takes on a variety of top secret undercover missions. Changing his form to fit the mission. Due to the nature of the assignment no one will know he's undercover so hopefully nothing goes wrong in the field! This one will be written by flash.

Marvelous Maidens: No art yet unfortunately, this one's running a bit behind... But yeah this will be the Marvel themed follow up to last year's Heroes to Housewives. It follows very similar themes and stories, being similarly based on a caption series written by Flash and conceived by one of our own patrons.

Not really any obscure ones this year. I wonder how they'll do performance wise? I realize One Piece doing twinning this year will cause a mix of reactions since twinning is such a contentious topic and Crew Swap is so damn popular. For those upset about no Crew Swap, we didn't have a great set of ideas for it so it will go on hiatus. That said there will still be new Crew Swap content this year! I don't want to say too much yet but it will be the first headliner of a new type of release here on The 63rd Rule.

Now as for the usual content and schedule. I think a schedule right now is counterintuitive. I'm just too far behind on things for a schedule to mean anything. It would be nice to be caught up by February but we'll have to see. In the meantime you can at least expect the usual 2 comics and 4 sequences generally. However for this year I'm going to be making a small change, and really its not a change as much as formalizing something that happens all the time:

Shaded versions will no longer be guaranteed to go up same day as lines/colors.

Obviously this has been the case for a while but I think making it the expectation is important. Very often I end up delaying comics or sequences because the shaded version isn't done yet. But I think this has wound up being a net negative decision, since people with shaded access also have access to the lesser versions. Of course I will continue to work with the intention of getting shaded versions up same day, but from now on I won't let the shading dictate if everything else is on time or not. I hope everyone understands this change and doesn't feel cheated in some way.

lastly with regards to the still missing content. All of last year's missing shading and lettering posts are being worked on as you read this. They will go up the second they're done. And hopefully we can catch up to this year soon after that. The exception is as always Man or Miss which I wish I could just light on fire but I'll continue working on it in my free time.

As for Miss Six Three, I think the poll should at least wait for the shaded versions of last years work to all be done. I'd like to have 2024's pinups completed as well but if the shading is done I'll release the poll regardless.

We're gonna start slow in 2026. I think its more important to regain a sense of normalcy before I promise a ton of new things and change a bunch.

Thanks as always,-Rabbit
