Hello everybunny!Sorry for the delay in making a new post, but between work and Cris' written driving exam, we've been super busy. By the way, they passed the exam! They'll start driving lessons soon 🙌 We're super happy.But let's get to the important stuff. We have a new WIP for our dear Gnoll~
Once we had the head pattern, we started working on the next part (and possibly the most complex one); the body. The body design is difficult, because in one hand it has that huge neck, we also have to make sure it shows how strong he is, and of course defining the pecs. Since this plush is rather big, we couldn't make the latter with just thread sculpt.
We needed to make several pattern tests. The first one was small and without much shape, in the second one the darts on the pecs looked weird and it was still too small for the head, so the third test was bigger, but we still couldn't fix the dart issue... On the fourth test, we got the shape we were looking for! The neck still needs fixing, but we can modify it without much troubles.To visualize the body better, we made a couple of arm tests, and despite we still need to polish the shoulder and hand shapes, the overall plush is looking very good ^^
It may look simple or not much work, but it's being a complex pattern to make. It differs so much from what we usually make, but it was about time we broguht you a more unique design that makes us sweat a bit hehehe >:3
We think it's turning out amazing. It looks big, strong and very huggable. What do you think? Are we making a good design? It's still missing lots of details, but we're starting to see how the final plush will look!
Now we're going to work on the legs so we have a global view of the plush and fix the proportions and shapes with that. Next week we should be able to finish all the base plush patterning work so we can start working on the embroideries and details >w<

Hello everybunny!Perdonad por la tardanza en traer un nuevo post, pero entre el trabajo y el examen teórico de conducir de Cris hemos estado bastante a tope. Que por cierto, lo ha aprobado!! Ya solo le faltan las prácticas 🙌 estamos súper contentas.Pero vayamos ahora a lo interesante. Toca nuevo WIP de nuestro querido Gnoll~
Una vez tuvimos la cabeza lista, nos embarcamos en la siguiente parte (y casi la más compleja) del patrón; el cuerpo. El diseño del cuerpo es bastante difícil, porque tiene por un lado el cuello grande, por otro lado el remarcar lo fuerte que está, y obviamente el trabajo al hacer los pectorales. Esto último, siendo un peluche bastante grande, no se soluciona solo con un poco de thread sculpt.
Necesitamos hacer varias pruebas. La primera era pequeña y sin mucha forma, la segunda hacía unas pinzas raras en los pectorales y también vimos que era pequeño para la cabeza, así que la tercera prueba era más grande, pero todavía no conseguíamos solucionar el problema del pectoral... Y a la cuarta prueba, conseguimos ya la forma que buscábamos! Le falla el cuello, pero eso lo podemos modificar sin problema.Para visualizar mejor el cuerpo, hicimos unos brazos de prueba, y aunque tenemos que perfeccionar la forma del hombro y la mano, en conjunto se está viendo muy bien ^^
Puede parecer que es sencillo o poco el trabajo hecho hasta ahora, pero de verdad está siendo un patronaje muy complejo. Se sale mucho de las formas que solemos hacer, pero ya teníamos ganas de traeros un patrón más único y que nos hiciera sudar un poco jejeje >:3
En verdad creemos que está quedando muy impresionante. Se ve grande, fuertote y super achuchable. Qué os parece a vosotres? Estamos sacando un buen diseño? Aunque aún le quedan los detalles, ya se va visualizando el peluche final!
Por nuestra parte, ahora vamos a trabajar en las piernas para así tener una visión más global del peluche y corregir las proporciones y formas que falten. La próxima semana deberíamos tener ya todo el trabajo de patronaje listo para así embarcarnos en bordado y detalles >w<
